I don't know how to zip a file. Help please.

I am trying to send an attachment with an email. The attachment is too big and my email program won't send it. I want to zip the attachment to make it smaller. How do I do this? Thanks very much.

Be aware if you try to compress media files or images then you probably won't be able to reduce the size much as such files do not compress very well.
In such a case it is better to upload the file to one of the many available file hosting sites and send the links instead.

This may occur if you are connected to the Internet and iTunes is trying to connect to the iTunes Store and fails for some unknown reason.
Try this:
Quit iTunes and disconnect completely from the Internet.
IF you have an iPhone (iPod etc), open iTunes. Sync the device.
Re-enable your Internet connection.
Quit iTunes.
Open iTunes again.
If this does not work, try completely uninstalling iTunes, then reinstall it according to these instructions:

So it seems from reading the COMMAND manual that my first issue is that I used a 16GB SD card, and the manual says it will only recogize up to a 2GB SD card. I did use my MB Air's SD card slot and crated a folder and dragged the music files to it, then to the card. So I am going to get a 2GB card and try that next. Otherwise just stick with the iPOD connected. At least that is 8GB

Well, I just purchased Linksys wifi and hooked it up. It's running fine. When I go to my IPhone settings to see is I'm connected to a wifi, it shows that I am not connected. When I hit my wifi to see or to connect, it takes me to the wifi networks and it's showing my secured wifi as being locked and my guess wifi as not locked. How do I sign in to my own wifi network.

Open a new Finder window, Finder > File > New Finder Window, and it should appear on the left under Devices.
If you don't see it there, or to get it to show up on the Desktop: Finder > Preferences... General tab, check External disks to have it show on the Desktop, Or Sidebar tab, check External disks under DEVICES.

Outside of the contact number for that you've already used I don't know another way of direct contact. Here are some things that they may or may not of had you try that might help you. If you will go to the settings app and pick general on the right-hand side you will see accessibility. Within that you can adjust a text size make the text bowl you can also increase the contrast. You can also adjust the brightness and control panel.
As for Siri again in the settings app under general you should see Siri on the right-hand side with the switch to turn it on. If that is turned on and you're still having issues
Try a Restart.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Resetting your settings
You can also try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered. You won't lose any data, but it takes time to enter all of the settings again.

Quickbooks program will not print reports. I think it is an Adobe/Pages issue but I don't know how to resolve it. Help!!!

I don't see how it could have anything to do with any Adobe app or Pages. QuickBooks is its own thing and does not rely on any other apps to print.
I opened a couple of random reports and had no trouble sending it to a laser printer. Also no issue saving them to text file, or clicking the Export button at the top right of the report and having it open directly into Excel.
What exactly are you trying to accomplish, and what is failing?

I don't know how to remove the files stored as 'other'

After transferring my ipod from one computer to another, the ipod capacity has increased with 'other' in orange on the summary pane. This has taken up about half the space on my ipod and I don't know what 'other' is!
Please can someone advise how to remove this information as I only use my ipod nano for music and do not need any extra information to be stored. Many Thanks

Other can be Album Artwork, Notes, Contacts, Firmware etc. or (and this doesn't apply to the iPod Touch or iPhone which don't have the option to be enabled for disk use), files that are on there if you are using the iPod as a removable storage device.
If you feel that Other is being incorrectly reported then try restoring your iPod. Restoring will erase the iPod's hard drive, reload the software and put it back to default settings. Once the restore is complete follow the on screen instructions to name the iPod and automatically sync your songs and videos onto the fresh installation. Press Done and the iPod will appear in iTunes and start to sync. If you want to update manually or using selected playlists uncheck the box beside the sync automatically instruction and press Done, it will default to manual mode and you can choose whatever setting you like: Restoring iPod to factory settings with iTunes
