I don't know if this is a problem

Hello I have alot of macbook pros in the past all 15" and I finally decided to get a 17" I love the computer and everything works great but a few quick questions I noticed the hinges are looser then the 15" models most likely because of he extra weight of the 17" screen if anyone would just clarify that like if you tilt the computer the screen will start to go down. Second question when I start up my computer the first screen i see it seems a little more dim or darker then what the main screen is i was wondering if everyone expirences that. And my last question is that the dvd drive on my 17" macbook pro is very quiet compared to my 15" models Is that better like when I turn on the computer the sound it makes to check the dvd dive isnt as loud thanks for the help guys.

As to the hinges, I have read about hinges being too loose and too tight. I understand they can be adjusted, and you might want to have yours looked at. I have to tilt my display nearly parallel with the ground before it will start to close.
Haven't really noticed the dimmer screen on startup, so can't say.
My MBP is absolutely silent.

Google them to confirm the settings that you need for the outgoing server, then check the setting you entered on the pad. Pay real close attention to the outgoing server name, and port. You may need to change in on the pad.

Bought 4th Gen 3TB TC - streaming TV over the internet is now so slow and now is constantly buffering. It seems the Airport Utility is always 'searching for new networks' - don't know if this is the problem. It's not the internet speed as checked that.

I took my old router upstairs and was streaming TV via my ipad seamlessly - the same program via the TC was constantly buffering.
I just expected to be able to plug in the TC, so a simple set-up and experience wireless both upstairs and downstairs in my house. For some reason the range is low and speed veru disappointing.
I am far from being an IT expert but I would welcome advice about setting up this TC so we can enjoy the product as it was designed. Please HELP!

No silver bullet........but my suggestions may drive you in the right direction.
1. Unplug the power cable from the TC and wait 10-15 minutes before powering back up.   Seriously wait!
      Proceed to #2 if this dosen't help.
2. Unplug the power cable from the TC, ubplug the power cable from your Broadband Modem (assuming it's a cable modem), disconnect ethernet, and cable from modem.
2a. Wait 10-15 minutes then re-connect cable, ethernet, and power back to modem (your modem should power up unless you have a power switch) wait for all the modem lights to come on EXCEPT activity.
2b. Connect ethernet from modem to TC, and plug in the power cable to TC.
      Proceed to #3 if this dosen't help.

HI, if I did this, then I believe that I cloud would then hold my info which I don't want. Is that the case? The reason is that I'm an old git, therefore used to not giving out info. Would I be right?

I think there are third-party programs which will do that, but you can also do it with Automator:

The file or clipboard contents will be in Tab Separated vars, so you'll have to open with a spreadsheet program and save as Comma Separated Vars format.

Alot of free apps offer in app purchases which has probably happened here, things for extra points scores etc etc are offered for prices which is how the app can afford to be free via the charge in other purchases within the game.
These are the sorts on in app purchases in littlest pet shop may have been one of these?
If you are 100% sure that no purchse was made get in touch with apple they should be able to tell you what was purchased and when then you can take it from there?

Sounds like you do have an Exchange account setup on your phone. Have a Gmail or Hotmail account? They can both be setup as Exchange accounts. Have a work email account?

Have you opened Acrobat and gone to Help>Updates to get an updated install?

Did you turn proxies on? If so, you should turn them off.
