I don't know which version of Oracle9i to download for XP Home Edition

I'm preparing for exam 1ZO-007 (Intro to Oracle9i SQL) and do not know which version of Oracle9i to download for XP Home Edition. Can somebody help? Thanks.

Hi,
unfortunately, NO oracle rdbms version is supported under XP Home, you need XP Professional.

  • Trusteer Report security for Browsers....I don't know which version of Fire fox I have. Previous one could have Trusteer on it but this one can't and all of my passwords have been compromised as a result. hw can I have trusteer on this one please?

My Bank has made Trusteer raport available to protect all my passwords...and the new version of firefox which installed itself!!!!!! cant support this safty measure whic has now been compromised by MyWebSearch which has also installed itself on my browser...How can I get this feature to run on my browser please!
    Regards
    Coco

From what I have seen other Trusteer Rapport users post here recently, it isn't compatible with the Firefox 4.0 betas. Most security applications or add-ons typically don't support beta pre-release software. You should still have your older version of Firefox installed yet (if you had one installed), the Firefox 4.0 betas install to their own unique Program Files folder and don't overwrite another version of Firefox.

  • I need to upgrade but don't know which version I have to get.  Do I have to go through each lower version or can I go straight to 10.8 then get free MAverick upgrade?  I live FAR from Apple store, so download upgrade is preferred.  :)

Need a newer version of Os to run printer and software.  Confused if I need to get which version to be able to upgrade to MAverick for free.  Also, need something I can download since Apple store is far away.

Start by checking if you can run Snow Leopard:
Requirements for OS X 10.6 'Snow Leopard'
    http://support.apple.com/kb/SP575
(NB: PowerPC applications can still be run in Snow Leopard using Rosetta, but they will not work in later versions of OS X. For detailed information see this user tip:  https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-6271 )
The OS 10.6 Snow Leopard install DVD is still available for $19.99 from the Apple Store:
    http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573/mac-os-x-106-snow-leopard
    and in the UK:
    http://store.apple.com/uk/product/MC573/mac-os-x-106-snow-leopard
Before installation you should back up all your data.
When you have installed it, run Software Update to download and install the latest updates for Snow Leopard to bring it up to 10.6.8, or download the combo update from here:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1399
Check via Software Update whether any further updates are required, particularly to iTunes (you will need the latest version in order to synch with mobile devices).
You should now see the App Store icon in iTunes, and you now need to set up your account:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4479
You can now upgrade to Mavericks OS 10.9 for free IF you have one of the following Macs, with not less than 2GB of RAM, and at least 8GB of available space on your hard drive:
    iMac (Mid-2007 or later)
MacBook (13-inch Aluminum, Late 2008), (13-inch, Early 2009 or later)
    MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid-2009 or later), (15-inch, Mid/Late 2007 or later), (17-inch, Late 2007 or later)
MacBook Air (Late 2008 or later)
Mac Mini (Early 2009 or later)
Mac Pro (Early 2008 or later)
    Xserve (Early 2009)
    iCloud system requirements:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4759
If you cannot run Mavericks you can purchase the code to use to download Lion from the App Store (Lion requires an Intel-based Mac with a Core 2 Duo, i3, i5, i7 or Xeon processor and 2GB of RAM, running the latest version of Snow Leopard):
    http://store.apple.com/us/product/D6106Z/A/os-x-lion
    or Mountain Lion:
    http://store.apple.com/us/product/D6377Z/A/os-x-mountain-lion

  • I have my Acrobat License Key but don't know which version of Adobe it corresponds to.

Is there a way to determine what version of Adboe Acrobat Pro goes with my License Key? I have attempted to contact Adobe support directly but have had no luck even getting ahold of a real person, VERY very disappointed in their support thus far. hope you guys can help me out.
    Thanks!!

In case your acrobat is still installed on your computer, then you can check windows registry.
Acrobat versions 9 and earlier store the serial in  key named "serial". As the unencrypted serial too this is a 24-digit key, usually starting with 9.....
It is basically possible to decode this serial back to those type of serial which can be entered in a program installation - unfortunately the support staff may not tell you the result. In other words... bad luck
But as i know there are some serial recovery tools which can do this job for you too.
If the result is a 24 digit number, starting with 1016 or 1118, then you can be sure it's a serial that fits the algorithm used for serial numbers.
What is not safe at this moment, if this is a legal copy. And exactly at this point you need to contact the support chat again to let them check this for you.
Once you got the complete serial, you will find the downloads under these links:
Download Acrobat products | Standard, Pro | DC, XI, X
even more accurate links you will find here

  • Don't know which version of Photoshop to get, I need the oil paint filter.

I'm a new designer and on class I did some really cool stuff with the oils paint filter and I LOVE IT, it will be a great part of the style I want to develop but I'm on a CC trial and it is not there! I've done my homework and have found out that apparently the latest version of CC has eliminated the beautiful filter! Go figure!
I want this filter BADLY, so what are my best options?
Adobe has so many products and versions that I'm really confused about what to get.
So should I get CS6? Or is there an older version of CC that has the oil paint filter?
I also saw somewhere there's an oil paint filter or plug in the CC but only for windows and I'm on a Mac.
    Please advice

  • Need help, don't know which version to download

I am a student and I am used to using JCreator from Xinox for my compiler. For a project, i need to use speech recognition as well as java.util abilities as well as breezyswing. I could probably learn javax.swing. but what should i download to get all of the abilities? Please Help

Download Java 6, the current version. Some of the stuff you mention is not part of that - you'll need to get that from the appropriate 3rd-party source.

  • Where can I find the system requirements for each version of firefox. I would like to know which version of Firefox is best for my 6-8 year old computer with AMD Sempron 2500+ 1,75 GHz and 512 RAM.

I tried to find information of that very hard in your pages but missed. Is it possible to have system requirements somethere in firefox homepages?
I don't want to try a newer version and then have a hard fishing of the earlier version which works.

Just change the version number of following links

  • How can I know which version of Firefox I'm using?

I tried to download an EOB from my insurance company's website, and it won't allow me to view the EOB. I talked to their web support and was told that I have to use the same version of Firefox that they support, which is Firefox 26 or 27. I don't know how to find out which version I am using. If I am not using their version of Firefox (26 or 27), how can I download that version. I don't know which version is on my PC now and I don't know how to find it on Firefox. Thank you
I just tried installing below this box on Troubleshooting Information, and Firefox would not allow me to install. What is going on?

Is the EOB a PDF document?
Firefox updates every 6 weeks and the current version is 31.0. Rolling back almost 6 months is not recommended for security reasons. If that's their best answer, I suggest we either figure out a workaround for getting the document, or you just use a different browser for their site.

  • My laptop's been stolen; I have serial number of my Photoshop Elements but can't remember which version; I now have Wondows 8.1. How do I know which version to redownload and install?

Sorry...title says it all. I had a Photoshop Elements 3.0 on disk and have subsequently downloaded updates and was running an updated version on my stolen laptop with Windows 7.
MyAccount shows my Photoshop serial number but not the version number which I have forgotten. I assume I can now redownload the version I had - updated to work on Windows 8.1 but don't know which version to download.

Contact Customer Support by chat or by phone and they should be able to look into your purchase history.  You might even find it yourself if you poke around different links in your account.
Here is a link to a page with options to help make contact:
    http://www.adobe.com/support/download-install/supportinfo/
Support should be able to deactivate the software for your stolen laptop as well.

  • Hi, I have been trying to update many things on my 2009 white macbook. Everytime I do it tells me I need a different version. I don't know what versions I need or even where to begin or if I need to purchase new hardware? Any suggestions?

Hi, I have been trying to update many things on my 2009 white macbook. Everytime I do it tells me I need a different version. I don't know what versions I need or even where to begin or if I need to purchase new hardware? It says my version is 10.5.8. I have tried downloading 10.6 but not sure what to do. Everyone else seems to be updating there's and mine is way behind however it still tells me I have no software updates...Any suggestions?

You have to understand the difference between an Update and an Upgrade.
An Update is a free change to add to the base code or as a bug fix within an existing Operating System. Such as the .8 added to 10.5.
An Upgrade is a complete new Operating System that must be purchased. Such as 10.5 Leopard to 10.6 Snow Leopard.
10.5 Leopard was based on Power PC code and was written to be able to run on both Power PC and Intel processors.
10.6 Snow Leopard has completely rewritten code and only runs on Intel Macs.
10.7 Lion used some 32 bit which allows it to run on Late 2006 through Early 2008 MacBooks and a lot of 64 bit code.
10.8 Mountain Lion is pure 64 bit, which excludes more systems than Lion did. It's not something you can add memory to, for example, as it involves the base architecture.

  • Everytime i want to do the upgrade for firefox3.6 it asks what folder i wish to put it in and i don't know which one.

Everytime i try to download firefox3.6 it says if i wish to run or save the file (I say run),then it says something about a temp. file and I say to run. Then it asks me what file i wish to use and I don't know which one.If i use Mozilla, then it kicks me out and it won't let me get the newer version.

Have you tried using '''Help''' > '''Check for Updates''' while in an Admin account to allow Firefox to update itself?

  • I have old ipod touch which has software version 1.1.5 is i would like to know which version i can update in that ipod touch

i have old ipod touch which has software version 1.1.5 i would like to know which version i can update in that and ipod and how

You probably have a 1G ipod.  To get the latest iOS for that mode go to:
Purchasing iOS 3.1 Software Update for iPod touch (1st generation)
It is a paid update.  You may have to use a different browser to get the sublink to work correctly.
Go here to identify your iPod:
    Identifying iPod models
The 2G can go to 4.2.1.

  • I don't know which Apple ID I used to register my Ipod Nano. I had to restore my Computer and now I can't connect my iPod to iTunes again. I have my serial number and ECID

Hi, I don't know which Apple ID I used to register my Ipod Nano. I had to restore my Computer and now I can't connect my iPod to iTunes again. I have my serial number and ECID. I'm using Windows, BTW, sorry!

Search your email for the word Logic (and set the search to All) and you should find the receipt (so long as you didn't delete it)
Other than that.. simply contact Apple directly and ask.. Make sure you have your transaction details ready for them as they will need it...
