I Don't Know Why This Happens To My New G580 Laptop
This is what happens to my screen every so often.
The day I got it new, it happened while I was trying to set it up. Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

Thanks for posting and welcome to the communtiy. After reading this thread I will have to agree with madwolf1980. It does appear to more of a hardware problem rather than software. If you are confortable with opening the machine you may want to consider what was suggested bu madwolf1980. If you are not confortable with opening up your machine you may want to consider contacting our service team and let them check it out.

Sometimes the contacts in certain groups are removed and the group is empty. They do not get deleted, and are still in All Contacts, just get removed from the group. Then I have to start all over again and add contacts to the groups. This seems to happen randomly and I don't know why it does. My contacts are synced with my Yahoo contacts. I don't know if thats why. Does this happen to anyone else?

I sent an email attached with the Adobe website to a friend so he could download Adobe Flash. When he had problems with the site I went to his computer to help and discovered that it contained some downloads off my computer, which I had not included in the email. Anyone know why this happened?
Sounds that you zoomed a page by accident.
You can have done that via Ctrl and - or by holding down the Ctrl key and rotating the mouse scroll wheel.
Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems.

I am batch processing in PS 2014 (watermark and saving as jpeg from ps file). I get the message for some but not all 'this file needs to be saved as a copy with this option'. And then I have to save it manually. Does anyone know why this happens? (It is just a plain photoshop file, a watermark is added, then save as jpeg - the jpeg is saved to a different folder than the original photoshop file.) It happens for about 10 of 30/40 files approximately . Thank you, Kathryn
I believe I have figured it out - I need to flatten the image, even though there are no layers except for layer 0, first.

Hi, Im new to Apple MacBook PRO. I have saved about 50GB files plus applications and message advises that my start up disk is almost full! My MacBook pro has a 500GB hard drive so don't know why this message is coming up. Please help.

My I phone 4 G home page i cons are twice the size as normal (mail, messages, ipod) etc.
Don't know how this happened and can't fix it help.Double tap with THREE fingers to turn zoom off. Then go into: Settings>General>Accessibility and turn it off for good.

When I upload a single file into a production in FCS, I can access all the fields in a metadata set. When I upload a batch of files into the same production in FCS, I can all access part of the fields in the metadata set. Does anyone know why this happens?

Great answer, and it led me to where to solve the problem. In the field definition screen there is a category drop down list. If you choose something other than none from the category drop down list then that field won't appear in the list of fields when you attempt to batch import a group of files.

Tap and hold the Home button and the On/Off buttons for approximately 10-15 seconds, until the Apple logo reappears. When the logo appears, release both buttons.
No content is affected by this procedure. -
This error message appeared. Does anyone know why this happened? "You haven't been logged out because the applicationSoftwareUpdateCheck failed to quit…". I am using 10.8.4

choose appstore and forcequit.
Start Appstore again, login, and choose the Update page. -
My iMac keeps losing the connection to my chosen Airport Wi-Fi network. Anyone know why this happens?
Close all Apps and see if Activity Monitor shows any processes runnung.
Not that I think this is the cure but have you tried these resets:
SMC RESET

Shut down the computer.
Unplug the computer's power cord and ALL peripherals.
Wait 15 seconds.
Attach the computers power cable.
Wait another 5 seconds and press the power button to turn on the computer.
The 5 second timing is important to a successful reset.
PRAM RESET
Zap the PRAM
Shut down the computer.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys. -
After I add a new PC to synchronize Outlook contacts and calendar with icloud, another PC/Outlook stops synchronizing that had been working fine. Does anyone know why this happens repeatedly? Is there a limit to the # of PCs that synchronize with iCloud

You may be wondering by now, iTunes is not detecting my phone, How do I do that?
Answer:- Just disconnect your phone from the computer. keep Itunes open on the PC. While holding the home button of the iphone plug the phone back in. Itunes will pop a message stating it has detected a phone in recovery mode. just follow the on screen instruction then to restore your phone. If your issue is still not resolved only an Apple technician can help you -
I have an iMac using OS X 10.4.11. Beginning several days ago, all incoming emails have, after the usual email header and before the message appears, one to two pages of technical data (e.g., Dkim-Signature, Domainkey-Signature, Content-Transfer-Encoding, etc.). This is similar and more complex that the info one receives when an undeliverable email bounces back. I don't know where this stuff comes from, or how it came, and I don't know how to get rid of it. Any ideas? I'm something of a newbie to computers (um, what's a Tag?).
That just sounds like the mail headers. Most people don't know (or care) about them so they're usually hidden.
Check Mail -> Preferences -> Viewing -> Show header detail
I'm guessing it's set to 'All'. Switch it to 'Default' or None as you prefer.
