I don't like 7.0.2 and want the older version. I can easily burn cd's, the older version has a huge icon that is not confusing. However, I can't use the store without the newer version what can I do? Should I just sart using another friendlier mp3 service?

With Firefox 7 my computer is slower to boot up and shut down. When typing the website I want in the address bar the old firefox took me straight to the site now it takes me to Google. I am running CS4 and want to run the trial version of CC to see if I want to begin a contract with Adobe. Do I have to uninstall CS4 before installing CC?

You can have 2 versions installed aside of each other. Bot programs have their own folders. The files from CS4 can be read by the CC version. The other way around does not work for most file types. For example InDesign. To save for an older version is documented for most programs.
After CC trial / subscription removal the CS4 will stay on the system and works without issue.

Upgrading iLife from 04 to 08 and want Templates from the older versions

I am upgrading Ilife 04 to 08. I want to make sure that I first keep all of the templates from the previous versions including the ones between 04 and 08. Are all old templates included with 08? If not how can I get them? i only have a disc copy of 04 and 08. 03 and older were already on my system.

The old iDVD templates are included as an option in the iLife '08 install. After you accept the EULA at the beginning of the installation, choose to Customise your install. Tick the box for the earlier themes under the iDVD dropdown.

I created a trailer for a bucks day using the Finish Line trailer - all the participants on the day want the music included in the final video. Does any one have any idea what it is?

You can find that .m4a file inside of the iMovie.app itself. <CTRL> click on the iMovie app in the Application Folder. Choose Show Package Contents. Inside that is all the templates, graphics and resources used by iMovie including the Movie Trailers. One of the items inside there is titled: SoundTrack-Action.m4a
The sub title of Finish Line is Action, and that's how iMovie names all the resources that go into the Movie Trailers. Similarly Road Trip is really called 'Blockbuster' internally by iMovie.

I have had LR since LR3. I bought the original program and have done updates ever since. Do I need to keep the previous versions of LR for my LR5 to work?

Just to be a little more specific, you do not need to keep LR3 installed on your computer, but the terms of your license with Adobe require you to not transfer LR3 to another person if you have upgraded to LR5; if you think of it that way, you should "keep" LR3 in that sense. The license terms allow you to have Lightroom (any version numbers) installed on any two devices (which could mean a Mac computer and a Windows PC, or a laptop or desktop, or any combination along those lines). If someone else were to attempt to register the same LR3 key you're supposed to still have to run your LR5 upgrade, either you or the other person could get blocked in that attempt.
Before upgrading, it's always a good idea to download and try out LR5 to make sure it runs well on the computer you want to use it on--some devices that can run LR3 well can't run a later version well, and if that applies to your hardware, it's best to figure it out before you've paid for LR5.
