I don't like Firefox 4!! How do I get back the older version???!!!

I've lost features that I had and used frequently. I tried to get info and found suggestion that customizing toolbar by dragging buttons/icons to toolbar would work. I did that for Refresh. Stop, Print, and Home, but the Stop and Refresh don't work. I've lost the down-arrow that was next to the Forward and Back buttons; the down-arrow at right side of URL bar does not take the place of the arrow I've lost.
I've found statements from others who do not like the new version and want to go back to previous version, BUT THERE WAS NO INFO ON HOW TO RETURN TO 3.6.?

To downgrade to Firefox 3.6 first uninstall Firefox 4, but do not select the option to "Remove my Firefox personal data". If you select that option it will delete your bookmarks, passwords and other user data.
You can then install the latest version of Firefox 3.6 available from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html - it will automatically use your current bookmarks, passwords etc.
To avoid possible problems with downgrading, I recommend going to your profile folder and deleting the following files if they exist - extensions.cache, extensions.rdf, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite and localstore.rdf. Deleting these files will force Firefox to rebuild the list of installed extensions, checking their compatibility, and reset toolbar customizations.

I loved the older version of Firefox. I also had a Yahoo toolbar, a MyYearbook tool bar and a Stumble Upon extension. When I "upgraded" to the new 4.0 Beta version, all of those disappeared.

I have an old version of Firefox on my Mac G4, but am scared to use that machine in case that Firefox also automatically updates itself. How can I transfer a copy of that older version of Firefox (from the G4) to the Intel Mac, and how do I stop both versions from then automatically updating? How do I get back the last version of FF before FF4.

I installed FF 4 yesterday and have had nothing but problems since then..first I noticed that some addons were disabled So as a solution I went looking for upgrades to the disabled addons and could not find any, then I noticed that I had limited functions in Facebook and Zinga's apps. and then it sent my Trend Micro AV software into a tailspin..making it over process or process really hard to the point I could hear it....Next after further troubleshooting in a last ditch attempt I decided to do a restore point (bad idea) because now FF does not work at all..I guess I would like to get FF back, but I only want the version I had before FF 4, which was the latest version before FF 4.

Firefox 4.0 has a lot more Security updates. You should really think about Security when browsing the web. But if you are sure you want to do this You must first Uninstall Mozilla Firefox, If you have completed this then download the old Firefox Version here: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html

how do I get back the "File Edit View History Bookmarks Yahoo! Tools Help" line of text that I could click on for options that used to be at the top of the browser window above the taps

I did that (I think I did) however the confusion is that I get only part of the menu and not the most important menu items like "file" "edit" etc. with all the drop downs. It is so freaky - my other computers have no problem like this and I and show the menu bar or not just like you described. I really doubt anyone really understands my problem with it. I took some screen shots of the good computer version and the bad one so someone can "see" exactly what I am seeing. This may be a one of a kind gremlin issue, LOL. Anyway, without those menu items, I am very limited on the usefulness of FireFox on that computer so I have to rely more on Chrome for those features and use the FireFox with Billeo and other tools that still work. Someday it may magically fix itself, LOL.
Of the two images, one is the good computer and the other is the bad. The bad one shows the only way to see the menu items however they disappear after I am done with the custom menu and no other time can I get the items to "appear" it is like they are there but cannot get them to show when in the normal menu bar mode.

Have you tried to close the mail app using cmd+q and opening again? Have you tried taking your mouse the whole way to the right in the mail window and try to "drag" the preview window back out again?

How can I get back the Web Clip widget in Dashborad?

I accidentally deleted the Web Clip widget together with the Web Clip.wdg in Library/Widgets/ folder by AppCleaner some time ago. Now I cannot use this function to clip content in pages. I have the widget icon in Safari and can crop the webpage without problems, but after I did this action, nothing appeared or happened in the Dashboard since the original web clip widget file is gone.
I would like to know where and how I can get back the Web Clip.wdg file so that I can perform the Web Clip function again?
I just saw a user who posted a similar topic on Dec 28, 2008 and his/her problem is solved. I have this same problem like his/hers.

I have tried to use Time Machine to get back the Web Clip but still couldn't, and very strange is when I click Time Machine, I can only choose Windows Applications as the back up disk but not Macintosh Applications, so I cannot restore anything from Macintosh applications.
I think the best is if anyone has this widget on their Mac and can kindly send it to me by e-mail?

I had a similar problem in that my wife's iphone 5 could not send pics with imessage. Had to set the settings to default to SMS or whatever. After laboring many hours on the web I coincidentally was on the phone with the internet people to question my internet speed. They changed the router channel, which is something that I am capable of doing myself. After that, the pics go over imessage. My own Iphone didn't have the problem. We are both latest IOS 7.0.6.
