I don't see acess to a "Source Pane"

Just bought my first iPod yesterday. Every instruction I read in the support mentions a source pane. I've never seen anything that looks like what they describe. I've been able to drag content from my playlist into my iPod, but now I want to rearrange the order in the iPod. I can't do this because it says I have to have access to the source pane. Why am I not seeing this?

The Source pane is the narrow pane on the left of the iTunes window. If you're able to drag things to your iPod, you're seeing it. The iPod shows up under the heading Devices, right?
The problem might be that you need to click on the little expansion triangle to the left of the iPod's name. Then you'll see everything on the iPod.

Problem with registering Parser - Recompiled source code, don't see any changes

I had created a parser. I had register this parser with Ifs Manager. I had execute this following statement to see if been registered carefully:

All it's ok. I upload a file with a 'p01' extension with option 'parser' on my Internet Explorer. All work fine.. My parser work. But I need to do some changes in my code. I update my code, recompile my code. My class file have been updated. After my parser (.class) file have been updated I upload a new file with parse option. I don't see any change I do in my code. Why??? How I can update my parser to view change. I have only recompile my code an place my new class files on the same directory. I have try again (change on code, recompile, test) and I don't see any changes.
But I have test by change my classname. My classname before is Test1 and I have rename my classe by Test2. I have compiled this code and a file Test2.class have been generate. I have update my register parser with Ifs Manager to use the new classname Test2. I have chack with sql statement to see if my parser have been updated. I have been updated correctly. I have upload a new file with parse option and I see my change on my code..
Do you have some explanations about that??
How I can update my source code of a parser already registered to the parser take the change I do.

Ok, but they have another manner to resolve this problem. If I upload a file with parser option on Windows Nt explorer (Using SmbServer or WcpServer). How I can update the class file into the JVM? I need the restart this those server or just one? If just one which server I need to restart?

I can't sync my iPhone5 to iTunes. The tutorial said to click on devices, but I don't see it anywhere on my computer screen. HELP!

I am trying to sync my iPhone 5 to iTunes in order to download some new tones. I did this back in December and didn't have any trouble. Now I can't seem to do it. The tutorial says to click ITunes open and then click on devices. I don't see devices anywhere on my computer. I do have my phone physically plugged into the computer, so I don't know why it isn't showing devices or the option of "Sync Now". What am I doing wrong? It's probably something very simple I'm overlooking.

It is referring to under devices in the iTunes source list, not on your desktop.

you can quicklook the gif thru the finder and set the default application as the File Viewer to open the gif files

Don't see photos from icloud. Replaced broken 4s w/new phone. Help! How do I get photos back? They don't show up on icloud online but phone says broken phone was backed up yesterday under manage storage. How do I use this backup?

Please help. Replaced broken phone w/new 4s. I did as the genius bar guy said and did reset>erase all content and settings at home because he said it would take too long in the store. Last time I had to replace my phone, all the photos and video were there. Now they're not. I had set up icloud but when i typed in "my restore from icloud", nothing came up. If this is your first sync and there is already data on the phone, perform the steps listed below. This will transfer your apps and other media purchased from the iTunes store to your iTunes library, perform a manual backup and restore, then sync the iTunes media back to the phone from your iTunes library. This will not transfer media from other sources such as music from your ripped CDs. As you said you never synced before, I assume all of your apps, music and other media was purchased from the iTuens and App stores. If this is correct, you won't lose anything.
Download and install iTunes: http://www.apple.com/itunes/.
Launch iTunes, go to the View menu and click to check Show Sidebar.
Go to iTunes>Preferences>Devices (Edit>Preferences>Devices if using Windows) and check "Prevent...from syncing automatically".
Go to Store>Authorize This Computer and authorize all Apple IDs used to purchase apps and other iTunes media (music, podcasts, movies, tv shows, etc.) on your phone.
On her phone, go to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup and turn iCloud Backup to Off.
Connect her phone to your computer and in iTunes go to File>Devices>Transfer Purchases to transfer your purchased media to your iTunes library.
Right-click on the name of the phone on the left side of iTunes and click "Reset Warnings".
Right-click on the name of the phone again and click "Back Up" to back up the phone.
Right-click again and choose "Restore from Backup...", select the backup you just made to restore from and restore the backup to your phone. If prompted to back up again, decline.
Go to the Info tab and make sure nothing is checked so you aren't syncing calendars, contacts, etc. with iTunes.
Go to the Summary tab and select This Computer under Automatically Back Up.
Check the other tabs to confirm that your sync settings are the way you want them.
Click Apply at the bottom to sync your phone.

I'm having the same issue on Firebug 1.11.3....The "more robust" right click menu does return when I disable the extension. Would you recommend downgrading Firebug to 1.11.2? Hate to have to turn off Firebug "except when I'm working" but either option seems to have both pros/cons.
This behavior happens on both PC and Mac (although the above information was tested on my PC - I'll have to check the Mac later and see if Firebug is doing the same thing there. I believe I have the most recent Firebug there, too)
The PC is on Firefox 20.0.1, Mac should be as well.

Can't save-All-relative files and don't see check_cs5.css under tab index.html

after closing check_cs5.css in the second tutorial I was suppose to get two tabs (source and check_cs5.css) which I could click on (underneath the index.html document tab). I don't see these. I can't get both the Design window AND the check_CS5.css code window. I only get the code for index.html and the design window. For some reason when I was suppose to save "all-relative-files" ... that was grayed out so I "saved ALL". I don't know why that was but it probably had something to do with the problem I just mentioned. This occurred near the end of tutorial 2 of the beginner tutorial.

I don't have PHOTO listed in my ITUNES source pane so how do I add photos?

I just installed the ITUNES CD onto my new computer Gateway Windows Vista. I read the manual to install photos and it says to click on IPOD and Photos under my source pane. I don't have listed Ipod or Photos.
Under my source pane are listed:
Library
Podcasts
Videos
Party Shuffle
Radio
Music Store
(and then my music playlists)
And that's it. So how do I intall photos if I don't see the word Photo to click. I don't have adobe photoshop either.
Please help.

First of all as the last poster pointed out, the photos tab is not listed under sources, it's one of the preference tabs that can be viewed when the iPod is connected. Here's a simple "How To" on downloading photos from a folder on your hard disk to an iPod:
1 Create a folder on your hard drive to hold the photos you want on your iPod. Call it iPod Photos for example
2 Drag the photos you want from your usual picture folder into the folder you just created
2 Open iTunes, select your iPod in the iTunes Source list. (this will bring up the ipod preferences tabs in the main pane to the right of the source list)
3 Click the Photos tab and select “Synch photos from.”
4 Choose “Choose Folder” from the pop-up menu and select the iPod photos folder you created.
iTunes will add "optimised", small TV quality versions of the photos to the iPod for you to view. if you want to include full size photos so you can move them from one computer to another check the the "Include Full Resolution photos" box.

XMLImporter completes successfully but I don't see the personalization

I have created an OA Extension to add the charge account to the Notification Details page. I am now trying to export from source env. and import into target env. The extension part works fine but when I use XMLImporter to import the personalization (add charge account field to the page) the import completes but I don't see the field. Here are the export/import commands I am using:

I can see that the personalization was transferred but I don't see the new field on the page. Does the server need bounced?

But I don't see the package in database. What object would this kind of map be in the database?

Hi,
When you are moving flat file data to oracle table , OWB will create SQL LOADER type mapping in which it will generate the .ctl file and submit the same to Oracle SQLLDR which in turns do the loading.
It does not generate PL/SQL package .

Is the iTunes Sidebar showing?
At the iTunes menu bar go to View > Show SideBar if not.
The SideBar appears at the left. The iTunes Sidebar is the source list for your iTunes library, iTunes playlists, etc. and when an iOS device or iPod is connected to your computer, the device will appear under Devices in the iTunes source list.
You select the device under Devices in the iTunes source list or SideBar to make the various tabs or selections for your iTunes sync preferences for the device appear in the main iTunes window.

No, I doubt it. iWeb is in charge of creating the javascript to display QT movies on pages, not iSquint.
Where are you creating your movies at in the first
place (iMove,Final Cut, etc.)and WHY are you using an
application other that QT to convert one QT file to
another QT file?
iSquint is a great program for optimizing movies for the iPod and the web. I use it myself for all of my video clips since I haven't made the switch to H.264 yet and I want my MPEG-4 to be as small as possible. iSquint can do H.264 also, though. It can do all of this transcoding without requiring the user to have QuickTimePro. And it's much faster than QTPro, too. It's a one-trick pony. Don't think it's the source of the problem here.
As a controled test, try to load one video onto a
page without using iSquint and see if it comes up on
your page.
I think shantyfolk has done this already. I think the problem is that shantyfolk's webhost doesn't like the javascript stuff generated by iWeb. That was the postulated reason in one of the previous threads. I would contact the host and ask technical support.

I don't see the ability to add custom interactions!

This is a wonderful forum! Very helpful.
I just downloaded and installed Flash Catalyst Beta 2 from http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/flashcatalyst/. However, I do not see the ability to add custom interactions to out of the box or custom components. I know that in Beta 2 interactions have been moved to the right panel. However, there too I do not get the option to add custom interactions as I see in some of the tutorials that I am referring to. Example: http://active.tutsplus.com/articles/reviews/flash-catalyst-beta-first-look/
I don't see ability to add application interactions or these advanced interactions. I only get some basic options like on-click, rollover etc and can only pick from a predefined number of components (not sure if this UI gives more options that I see in the version that I have installed, but I am guessing it does).

Hi DM,
The so-called "custom interactions" and "application interactions" have all been rolled into one thing: the interactions panel.
To create an application interaction, click "+ Add Interaction" with nothing selected.
Some components have component-specific interactions (e.g. Data List has an "on change" interaction). To access these, first select the component that is the source of the interaction, then click "+ Add Interaction".
