I don't see FaceTime on my iPhone

I cannot seem to locate FaceTime app on my iPhone 4

FaceTime is built-in so no app icon.
Use Contacts app to start a FaceTime connection with fellow Apple devices.

  • I don't have facetime on my iphone 4 ios 7

i don't have facetime on my iphone 4 ios 7! if u can help me contact me on this email: [email protected]

An iPhone originating from Saudi Arabia or the United Arab Emirates will never have it. An iPhone bought elsewhere in the Middle East may also not have it or lose it if unlocked or taken to another region.

  • Hi I wanna ask I don't have FaceTime in my iPhone 4G why?

Hi I wanna ask I don't have FaceTime in my iPhone 4G why?

Where did you buy your iPhone? iPhones sold in the Middle East do not have face time.
If you bought your iPhone outside of the Middle East have you checked Settings>Phone>FaceTime>On and have a look at this link http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4319

  • HT5646 why i don't have facetime in my iphone 4s ?

why i don't have facetime in my iphone 4s ?
i make update to ios 7 ,  imassege work good but facetime not found on home screen or on settings page

I think you won't be able to access or get facetime as facetime is banned in certain middle eastern countries.
Check the model number of your phone if it has AE in it, then you won't have facetime.

  • Airdrop has disappeared from my iMac. I don't see it from my iPhone anymore. It was there yesterday and is not there today. Any ideas?

I like to use airdrop occasionally to transfer a photo quickly from my iPhone 5s to my iMac running Yosemite. Until today, I could do this easily. Now my iMac no longer appears as an Airdrop client and I don't see any Airdrop item in my iMac Finder. Any idea where it went?

I could see my iPhone from the iMac, just not the other way around. And both devices are on the same network. But your suggestions reminded me that I have been fooling around with my networks after adding a range extender to my router. So, even though both devices were on the same network, I tried restarting the iPhone and the iMac reappeared as an Airdrop client. Go figure. Thanks for your help!

  • Why I don't have facetime on my iphone 4

i dont know why but i dont have facetime on my iphone 4 is it normal ?

Your question isn't that clear. What do you mean? Do you mean you literally don't have facetime as part of the phone program, don't have the hardware or do you mean you have it but it simply doesn't work?
I'm new to the iPhone (just got it two days ago) but i've been reading the owners manual and have used facetime already to connect to a friends iPad2. Facetime is simply part of the phone program and to use it you and the person you're trying to contact BOTH need facetime able devices. Either iPhone 4s or iPad2. I don't believe the original iphone had facetime. You also BOTH need to be connected through wi-fi. Facetime will not work using 3G, you must be in a wi-fi hot spot.
If you haven't read the owners manual it's available for download from Apple. It's easier to read on a regular computer than on the iphone screen.
Hope this info helped. If not please ask again and be more specific as to what your problem is. Don't have facetime is too vague. If you have an iphone 4 you HAVE facetime.
    good luck.

  • I don't see FaceTime on my new iPhone 4

Strange one: just bought an iPhone 4 and brought it home. Tried to make calls with friends using Facetime and it never appears as an option. Never.
My home has WiFi -- Apple Extreme 802.11n (fast ethernet), which seems to be working okay for everything else. My friends are WiFi connected with their iPhone 4's, and they DO have a Facetime icon on their phones when they try to call me.
So what am I doing wrong?

    Embarrassing!
Went to the Genius Bar Sunday where the very patient young fella showed me exactly that.
Apparently upgrading from a 3GS meant that the FaceTime switch was 'off' by default in preferences. A friend who bought an iPhone 4 as a replacement for a Nokia saw that the switch on his phone was 'on' by default.
So I learned something and I'm sure the Genius had a good chuckle.
    Thanks to all.

  • I don't have Facetime on my Iphone 5s

i can't see it on my home screen and also in the settings

If you purchased your iPhone in a country with banned FaceTime you will not be able to install it, rather use Skype or any other app of that kind.
Also, if you have it restricted the app won't appear. Check Settings > General > Restrictions and turn off FaceTime

  • I don't have facetime on my iphone ,

i dont have it what must i do ? plz help me

If you are unable to use FaceTime or locate the FaceTime app, follow these steps:
Note: FaceTime may not be available, or may become unavailable, on devices purchased or used in certain countries, including Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. Check your device's region of purchase for more information.
In Settings > General > Restrictions, verify FaceTime and Camera are On. Disabling Camera also disables FaceTime.
Update to the latest version of iOS.
    Restore your device:
Back up your device to iCloud or iTunes.
Tap Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings.
Note: This will erase all user data from your device.
When complete, configure your device by selecting your region and language and then restore your data using the iCloud or iTunes backup.
Note: When setting up and restoring a backup from iTunes, ensure that your computer's language, country, and date and time are set correctly.
If you still cannot locate the FaceTime app, verify that Settings > FaceTime is present. If Settings > FaceTime is present, try using the Spotlight Search to locate the FaceTime app.
