There are a ton of posts about this issue. Seems to affect everyone right
now. I'm sure it will be fixed in either an update or a later build.

  • Enable caps lock?

    Settings/General/Keyboard/Enable Caps Lock
If I turn this to "on", what happens? (doesn't seem like anything)

While you are typing, if you have this feature enabled, the caps-lock key will act as a normal caps lock key on a keyboard, i.e. it will stay on/locked if you press it, until you press it again to release it from all caps. If this feature is turned off, the caps lock will only be enabled for one stroke. Try typing notes with either feature set selected to see how this feature works.
I am sorry if I didn't explain it very clearly, the best I could though.

  • Enabling "Caps Lock"

I see the "enable caps lock" feature under the settings on the iPhone. But when I enable it and go to type the CAPS still work like a shift button (Capitalizes the first letter then goes to lower case). Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

Caps lock enabled means that when you are typing later you can *double tap* the Shift button to lock it down (turns blue). If not enabled, then double tapping does nothing.

  • ENABLE CAPS LOCK (?) Version 2.1, IPHONE 3G

On the Home screen, tap Settings, Tap General, Tap Keyboard, Mark Enable Caps Lock: those are the instructions in order to CAPS LOCK on IPHONE... but it doesn´t work. Does anybody experienced the same problem ?

That enables the caps lock option - it does not actually turn the caps lock on.
Once enabled, to actually turn it on, double-tap the caps key on the keyboard.
    Cheers!

  • I don't see icons i downloaded like "Find My Friends   Reminders?" what's up with this?

Am I missing something? I downlarded "Find My Friends + Reminders"... but don't see any icons??? If I enter search I will find them but otherwise no icons. Did I miss a memo??

    Try rebooting your iPhone

  • Enable Caps Lock no longer works

I recently discovered that you can enable a caps-lock feature in the iphone. I turned it on, and it worked at first. But now it does not work (double tapping the shift icon just turns it on and off).
I tried turning the caps lock feature off and on, doesn't seem to do anything. Am I missing something?

Thanks for your help, it indeed was the speed of the double tap, I must have forgotten that's how it worked! Or maybe I never realized that's how it worked and did it 'correctly' by accident the first time...

    Hi

  • How do I enable Caps Lock on the iPad?

On the iPhones you can double click the shift key to write in capital letters. Is there something similar on the iPad? The only way I can find is to hold down the shift key whilst typing which is a bit of a pain..... Is there another way?
    Thanks

It works just fine for me. After you have enabled the caps lock in the settings all you need to do is double tap one of the caps lock keys on the keyboard. Both keys should then turn dark blue and remain that way until you tap one of them again allowing you to continuously type in all capitals,

  • Certain keys don't work-delete, space bar, caps lock, quotes-apostrophe key

Certain keys don't work on the built-in keyboard: delete, space bar, caps lock, quotes-apostrophe key...I have to use the "keyboard viewer" to use these particular keys. My adapter is connected to the computer, but the problem persists.
Can anyone please suggest troubleshooting for this annoying problem? It has been like this for about 2 weeks now.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Does anything happen when you hit these keys?
    Try this:
In System Preferences>Keyboard & Mouse, click the "Keyboard Shortcuts" tab, then the "restore defaults" button.

  • I DON'T SEE CD/DVD ICON ON DESKTOP

When I insert a DVD-RW I don't see Icon on desktop. I repaired permission but still nothing
    Thanks for help

Go into Finder on the menu bar. In General check which items you want to appear on the desk top. If you choose *CDs,DVDs, and iPods* it will appear when one of these is connected.

  • Is there a cap lock function on the iPod touch?

Is there a cap lock function on the i-pod touch? I don't see a way to do it.

    Hello mdgm,
First ensure that Caps Lock is enabled by going to *Settings > General > Keyboard > Enable Caps Lock*.
When this feature is enabled, you can then use Caps Lock by double-tapping the Shift key on the keyboard.

  • How keep CAPS lock ON?

I have my iPhone settings under KEYBOARD set to ENABLE CAPS LOCK to the ON position, but I don't know how keep the caps on?

Once you have the Caps-Lock feature enabled (ON) in Settings, all you have to do is double-tap the shift key to lock it. It turns bright blue when locked.

  • Turn Off Caps Lock Notification (Tried many ways but none work)

I recently bought a Lenovo Y50-70 and I use Caps lock for gaming but the black and yellow icon notification for caps lock is very annoying. I have Windows 8.1 and I'm looking to looking to turn this option off.
I have researched ways to end this but have tried going into regedit, Display, Ease of Access and msconfig to no avail.
There is no Widcomm file in my registry, Display's advanced settings do not have an option and neither does Ease of Access.
I know that I can turn off all on screen notifications and therefore solve this problem but I don't want to do that. If anyone has an answer, much will be appreciated.

As I understand your problem only occur while playing a game, why not look into the game's setting?
