I don't see the Airplay button

I just update to 4.2 and I don't see the Airplay button, is it only visible when you have a airplay device compatible visible from the Ipad?

Yes it is there, in both iPhone 4 and iPad on IOS4.2.1
You need to ensure you are connected to the same LAN network as the airport/airplay device, and then choose the device form the iPhone/iPad to connect, it is very simple and does work...
I have 2 devices, and they both connect to any device i have on the airplay network.
Remember if you set up a password for the airplay device you will need this to be able to connect...!
I will also point out, that if you are currently connected to these airplay devices using iTunes on the same network, this MAY restrict airplay from finding them as they will be considered to be "in use" and there for won't show up. The best way to check on this, is change your iTunes too computer only.

You do not have to have an Apple TV, but you should have an AirPlay capable speaker on your network.

I just updated my ipad2 to ios7 0.2 latest update, but when I go to apps store to upgrade I don't see the upgrade button, nor when I go in for new apps I don't see free button to download new apps. Could you please help

When updating to iOS 7 auto update for apps will be turned on. When an app has an update available your iPad will download and install the update with no input from you. Apps that have been updated by this automatic process but which have not yet been opened will show a blue dot before their name.
A record of updated apps is kept for your convenience. You can see this record by using the App Store app and select Updates, the right most choice in the bottom row.

I'm trying to mirror my iPad 2 or my iPhone 4S to my Apple TV but I don't see the Airplay icon on either device.

I have an iPad 2 and an iPhone 4S. I bought Apple TV recently and I've gotten bored of just using it to stream Netflix. I've been trying all morning to get Airplay to work on either my iPad or my iPhone, but I don't even see the Airplay icon when I doubleclick the Home button and swipe right. For a while when I first bought my Apple TV, I was able to play movies from my MacBook to my AppleTV, but now I don't see that option on my MacBook either. What is going on?!? At this point, I'm feeling like AppleTV might have been a waste of $99 if it's so difficult to get to work properly, but there has to be something that is wrong. I haven't changed any security settings or anything recently, and all my devices are running off the same wifi network. I tried everything that Apple says to do if Airplay doesn't work, but nothing is helping.

You have to swipe in a left to right motion. If the airplay icon isn't showing up it's likely something within your network that is blocking it. You can also try rebooting devices and router.

I don't have the airplay button

I have a iPhone 4 ios 6.1.3 and for some reason I never get the airplay button. I do not have an apple tv, however I do have the reflector app, which is what i am trying to connect to. I have even once seen the airplay button on my phone. I am connected to the same wifi and via bluetooth to the computer. The airplay button is not visible from any app.

When trying to connect to itunes with airplay I get this

AirPlay of Music and Photos was instinctive,
but mirroring: simple when you know.
Should have looked in the iPhone User Guide, under AirPlay.

i recently have been problem with my AppleTV. I select the AirPlay button on my ipad3 and select AppleTV below my iPad selection. The tablet thinks for a little bit, about 5 seconds, and then gives up, deselecting the AppleTV button and refreshing automatically to display on my tablet. My spouse has the same issue at the same time with her ipad air. All software is up to date and re verified wifi. The AppleTV can still stream from its internal apps. Seems like the only problem is AirPlay.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Try the following steps, check whether things are working after each step where appropriate, before trying the next.
Check AirPlay is turned on on the Apple TV (turn it off and on if it already is)
Check that both devices are on the same network (Settings > Wifi, on the mobile device and Settings > General > Network, on the Apple TV).
Restart the Apple TV (Settings > General > Restart).
Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
Restart your router. (Also try removing it’s power cord for at least 30 seconds)
Restart your mobile device.

I am using a iPhone 5 but now I don't see the send button anymore in the mail application

Can any one tell me how to have the send,reply and delete buttens back on the bottom of the screen. It appears also that when I hit the change button in the list of mails, I only can put a red mark before the mail but don't have a possibility to delete the mails I marked. The only way to delete a mail is to slide gently up the mail then a button appears to delete it.

close out of the mail app, then double tap the home button find the mail app hold down and close out of it.
Then go back into the mail app and see if those features came back.
If it doesn't do the above step again and then power off your phone and then back on.

Need to accept the general conditions, but don't see the 'accept' button

Hello, I am trying to download an application and I receive a message indicating that the iTunes general conditions have changed. Once I access the general conditions, I am suppose to see a 'accept' button, but don't find it. Can you please assist? thank you

Install the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1
That will reinstall the App Store for you and may help the "conditions" dialog.
Restart your Mac after the combo is installed, try the App Store.
It's ok to do this even though you are already running v10.6.8.
If that doesn't help, try this...
Quit the App Store.
Launch iTunes.
From the iTunes menu bar click iTunes > Preferences then select the Advanced tab.
Click: Reset warnings and Reset cache
Click OK.
Quit iTunes. Launch the App Store, try again.

HT5100 I don't see the download button

I am using iTunesU on my iPad and I am trying to download a course and do not see a download button. Whereas, for the very same course, I am able to download on my laptop. Why is that?

What I mean by the download dialoge is the extra window you see in Firefox when your downloading a file and you see how long there is to go.

When trying to save a page, I can enter file name etc, but don't see the SAVE button to click SAVE. It's like it's below the screen or something. How do I fix this?

I was in a webpage and was trying to save it. I selected SAVE AS from the drop down menu. Then I entered the file name, and selected TEXT ONLY as file type. Only thing left to do was click SAVE, but there was no SAVE button.

You can check it DTA or another extension isn't causing this problem.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

HT201335 i don't see the airplay icon on my macbook pro menu bar. I'm running OSX 10.7.5. What's up?

I have a late 2011 machine. I keep the display icon in the menu bar but I can't find anything that will get the airplay icon to show. I'm tyring to connect to my Apply TV, which is on.
I do have Air Display on the machine, not sure if that's messing it up.

AirPlay mirroring requires OS X 10.8. Buy Mountain Lion in the App Store.

Airplay and Airplay mirroring are not the same. Airplay will work on your pre 2011 Mac. Airplay mirroring, on the other hand, requires in-GPU H264 encoding which according to apple is only available on the 2011 Macs.
Airparrot works by doing the H264 encoding via your CPU. It is not the most ideal method (heating, fans kick in, etc) which is why apple decided to draw the line at 2011.
