I don't think I have iCloud set up, but I need a partial restore to 9pm Sunday night... possible?

I have a little bit of a dilemma on my hands.  Last night I dumped all of my summer photos into iPhoto.  I have this Lacie external drive that I used earlier this week to back up my computer so I set up a sync using Intego Backup Assistant for Mac.  I set it to sync my computer hard drive with the external, which made sense at the time.  When it finished, I got over 600 error messages and all of the photos I had just uploaded that day were gone from both my computer and the backup drive.  Time Machine did not help me and the recovery software I used found little 20kb versions of some of my photos but not at full quality.  I'm freaking out a little bit that more than 1,000 photos are just gone.  Someone please tell me there's a way to either recover everything I uploaded yesterday or that I can restore my computer to 9pm on Sunday...

You will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple in your country to get the questions reset, which will normally be by phone as they need to confirm your id and that it's your account.
