I don't want 5,6,7,8,9, and so on I want 4 back how can I get it and don't tell me to down load it because it just updates to the newest version. I have no need for anything beyond 4. If I don;t here from you by 5 o'clock central time I will uninstall it.

Firefox 4 is currently unsupported, so you will not get security updates. However, you can still find it at ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/4.0.1/win32/en-US/

Click the Update tab. The auto-update options are displayed.
You probably are going to want to select "Never check for updates."

Just updated to the newest version of iTunes, when connecting it prompts me to update my iPhone to the newest version of IOS; however, when I hit download it says I have purchases that need to sync but where and how do I do this on the newest version? I just updated to the newest version of firefox for my mac laptop. It keeps crashing when I open the browser and does so even in safe mode. Laptop is about two years old. Might it be an issue with the OS? I have not updated to Leopard yet.
It seems that the problem is related to fonts.
(1) How were you updating your operating system ?
If you use *_Software Update_*, hurry up, download and apply the combo updater available from :

but CAUTION, this update introduce a serious problem with some fonts. At this time the only workaround available is to reinstall 10.6 tyhen apply the combo updater 10.6.6 available from :

(2) if you didn't used *_Software Update_*, run a maintenance tool like the free MAINTENANCE available from :
http://www.titanium.free.fr/index_us.html
Apply it to clear caches files, mainly those dedicated to fonts.
It would be also a good idea to check the health of your fonts with FontBook.

I have windows XP, just updated to the newest version and not none of my themes work. It's just all white for my tabs and tool bar. Very hard to see. I've reinstalled the themes and nothing works.

I am running an HP Pavilion dv7 Notebook PC, Windows 7 Home Premium, with an HP SimplePass for security and password storage. With the previous Firefox, when I would open a website that had sign in and password information, the fingerprint icon would come up in the top left hand side, and I could swipe my finger and it automatically entered the information. When I recently updated to the latest version of firefox, this option is no longer available. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I now have the newest version of iTunes. My iPad is up-to-date as well. When I plug in the USB to my computer, it makes the proper sound, but I do not see the device identified in iTunes and therefore cannot sync it. Instead, it opens to the file location for my iPad. How do I connect iTunes to my iPad? It was working perfectly before I updated iTunes.

I just updated itunes to 10.6.
Windows. Vista. (up to date)
Everything is the library has gone - no apps, music, videos etc.
Playlists have gone.
Everything on the iPhone is still there.
I can't sync because everything will then get deleted from the phone and replaced with the (empty) library.

I prefer to update ff manually. However, if I miss a few updates and then select update, it updates one update at a time, instead of just updating to the newest version in one clean sweep - like it should! It's unusual to have so many point updates so frequently, so I'm not sure when it would be possible to try to observe this possibility.

I keep my Firefox up-to-date at all times but the last few weeks Gmail has been telling me that I am using an older version which it no longer supports even though I have the updated version. I was notified that Firefox could be updated to the newest version, which I did. After the update when I opened Firefox it told me that I needed to update to the newest version which I had already done. How can I fix this?

I recently updated to the newest version of Flash (17.0.0.134) and I have a MacBook Air, running OS X and I have Safari version 8.0.4. Ever since the update I can no longer select drop down menus or get Netflix to run properly. Has anyone else had this issue/know how to resolve it?
