I don't want fullscreen in Cap 8 on publish -- Options?

When I export in Cap 8 I get a full screen on launch. I am using a PP import project. Is there any way I can make the player smaller or is the fact I am using a Powerpoint import determining the project size on launch?

Hi there
When you import from PPT, you should see an intermediate dialog as shown below:
Note that it's at this point where you choose to configure the pixel dimensions of the project. And that determines how large it will attempt to display when you Publish it.
So one way around this is to choose a smaller dimension here.
You are also able to take an existing project and rescale it to be smaller. Just click Modify > Rescale Project and configure it to be the smaller size you want. Note, however, that this is something you do NOT want to repeatedly do. Each time you rescale, you will lose a bit of information. So if you aren't sure, start by making a copy of the project. Rescale. Get what you want? No? Cool. Scrap this copy and start over. Repeat as needed until you get what you want.
Another option is to enable "Scalable" output in your output settings. That option should make the content scale to fit whatever the browser window size is.

If you want to turn off Messages, click on Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and then click on your Apple ID and sign out of Messages. That's about all you can do if the devices are all signed onto the same iCloud account.

IMovie is outputting my movie with big black bars at top and bottom that I don't want

iMovie: Ver 10.0.5
OS: OS X Ver 10.9.4
So, let me try and explain...
I have recorded gameplay footage of my game directly from my Mac screen using Quicktime's Record Screen option. I've tried recording both in fullscreen mode (with my game also running in fullscreen mode) and a section of the screen by dragging the mouse to select a 640X960 box (with my game running in windowed mode which is displayed at 640x960 resolution).
This initial recording direct from the screen displays fine, both when I view it in windowed mode and when I view it fullscreen, with the height of the game stretching to the full height of the video area but obviously with big black borders to either side in fullscreen mode (as it's basically iPhone ratio in portrait mode).

The problem is when I try to import the movie into iMovie, mess around with some fade-ins and music and stuff and then output the edited movie via iMovie...
When I then try to view this outputted movie in windowed mode on certain sites (Kickstarter) my game footage doesn't take up the full height of the video and instead floats in the middle with big black bars at the top and bottom, which I don't want. It's fine when I go fullscreen but the problem is that when I load this video into Kickstarter it shows the non-fullscreen view of the video with this big black border and it looks really amateur.
This is what Kickstarter shows in windowed mode i.e. the way you see Kickstarter videos by default when you press Play; unless I go fullscreen and then it takes up the full heigh of the view.
Note: Windowed mode actually looks fine when viewed directly on my Mac but I know it's not Kickstarter that is causing the issue because I can see in the thumbnail preview on my Mac that the video is somehow encoded with the big black bars at the top and bottom. Also, I uploaded the unedited videos to Kickstarter just to check and they display fine. So it's definitely iMovie that is adding these annoying black borders at the top and bottom for whatever reason (and I'm not intentionally scaling the video down in iMove or anything like that as far as I know). I also can't use the unedited footage however because it has no sound and no transitions etc.
Does anyone know what night be causing this and how to get rid of it.

You are lucky to see anything - iMovie 5 is not really compatible with Snow Leopard, which only supports iMovie 6 and above.
Snow Leopard only runs on Intel Macs. iMovie 5 was never written, AFAIK, for Intel, just for the PPC Macs they had in those old days!

Rcshnoor nailed it, everything will depend on how they manage their data connection once the laptop is connected. It is perfectly feasible that they will have no issues with this new connection. However, there is nothing stopping the user from going above and beyond the data usage cap currently sufficient for the phone by itself. We cannot presume that any estimations on new usage will be accurate either.
Users should always be aware of the reality that revolves around data usage and the devices that consume them. Its no different than installing a 2nd waterline/hose on your house. Sure the hose will be fine if you remember to turn it off when you are done, but no one is going to stop you from letting it run all night if you forget.

You don't. Everythng downloaded with one Apple ID can not be transfered to another Apple ID. So you would need to buy it a second time. This is one of the Pit Falls of the whole Download only model.
That is why I refuse to buy things like music or movies that are tied to a specific User Name, ID.

How can another user on my system share their document if they cannot access a public drop box, do not have an email account setup on the system and we don't want to use iwork?

He doesn't have an email account of his own, I can't seem to save it as a public document in a drop box like I can from my own login and we do not want to use iwork. Is there a way to save it so that I can access it from my login to email to his teacher. I don't want to have to retype it into Pages under my login.

Save the document from his account to an external drive or thumb drive.
Set the permissions (using Finder > Get Info) for "Everyone" to Read and Write.
Your DS will likely be the owner of the file, so you may need his login password to change the permissions.

How can I disable Game Center in iOS6 if I don't want to go public?

Even with all notifications and banners, etc., turned ofgf for Game Center, some games still demand a SignIn/Out before allowing play. I don't want to compete with other users, and don't care how well they play either. There should be a general Opt-Out that works for us curmudgeons.

I just wanted to play Backgammon tonight. It looped through the signin pages ten times before I could. Forcing Game Center on me just insures that I won't every buy another game...

No. Its not possible.
Alternatively, create another user account in your computer. Install iTunes in that account with the library you wish to sync.

But assuming you can give the playlist you’ve created, I’m sure your recipient will be very happy.

I see that I have a particulier abonnee of my ISP , which has closed all the ports for security reason and they don't want to open any of it 80,443 ect.
suppose If I want to use Essential server 2012 how I can solve this problem , essential wants domain name whith A record.
I asked DDNS service provider if I lease from them a domain name whith A record would that help to open or manipulate the port 80,443 they said that I have to solve this problem myself . they lease only domain names with dynamic dns records.
so what can be a solution the ISP provider won't open this ports , how I can solve this problem . domain name with ip adres is not helping so what it's go to help?

The domain name in this instance is only used for remote access, and is seperate from the active directory domain name.
If your ISP blocks port 80 and 443, and you dont intend to use remote access anyway, the wizard will likely not complete successfully whether you have a valid domain name or not.

There's more to it than that.
Folders in Aperture do not hold Images. They hold Projects and Albums. You cannot put an Image in a Folder without putting it in a Project or an Album inside that Folder.
The relationship between Projects and Images is special: every Image must in a Project, and can be in only one Project.
Images can be in as many Albums you want. Putting an Image in an Album does not move it from the Project that holds it.
You can make as many Versions from a Master as you want.
What you want to do may appear simple to you, but it still much adhere to how Aperture works. I still can't tell exactly what you are trying to do (specifically: Images don't live in Folders; moving an Image from a Folder is non-sensical).
It can be very confusing (and frustrating) to get going with Aperture -- but it does work, and can be enormously helpful. If you haven't, take a look at the video tutorials on Apple's Aperture support site.
I feel as though I haven't helped you much -- but we need to be using the same names for interface items in order to get anything done -- and my sense is that you still haven't learned the names of the parts.
