I don't want to download itunes 7.2 but I can't buy music!
Everytime I go to buy a song it takes me to a page that says I should download iTunes 7.2 for free and install iTunes Plus but I don't want to! Can I not download any song without having downloaded iTunes 7.2 or something?
I have dial-up, so downloading 7.2 who crash my computer and it seems sometimes when I download stuff to my computer it deletes it later.
Will I have to download iTunes 7.2 to download songs now? Or is there something I can click to keep downloading songs with an older version of iTunes?
Looks like we have the same problem - see if anyone comes up with the answer on my question posted yesterday "Do I have to upgrade from itunes 5 to itunes 7.2"

Hey, epoh, I haven't forgotten the long term solution for you, I just can't seem to find it in the user tips library. I know it was there, and I've asked some of the folks who have helped on this type of thing before to help me relocate it. Of course, they all decided they were "Irish" and (although it has nothing to do with being Irish) are still recovering from celebrations designed to make bartenders rich and breweries dry.

One would be taking a look at your account page (click on your account name when in the iTunes Music Store) and seeing if there isn't a way to reset it in the purchase history screen. I don't see anything like that there, but then again, I don't have anything stuck in my cart either
Give that a shot, then try deauthorizing your computer and reauthorizing it. I see where he is going with this one. It's quite possible that this action will get rid of anything that was hanging out under that particular account name.
Give these both a shot, and see if it doesn't shake that album loose. If it doesn't, I'm sure someone has a link to the fix I'm thinking of. -

I bourght "E O Wilson's Life on Earth" and backed it up to my iMac. Now it won't sync back to my iPad because it says I don't have permission on this computer. I don't want to download it from iTunes again because it took up a lot of bandwidth. What's the deal?

Correct. it does not magially appear in other places. It will only be where you put it.

Correct as well. Iphone will sync with one computer at a time. Syncing to another will erase the current content.
You need to copy everything ( itunes library/contacts/pics/calendars/files/docs) from the old computer, or your backup copy of the old one, to the new one. -
Are there ANY compatibility issues with Itunes 12.0.1 and Mavericks? Don't want to download Yosemite. Not hearing good things about it. I'm on Mavericks 10.9.5.

How do I download only selected audiobooks from iTunes to my iPod.? I don't want to download the whole library..i have an iPod classic and Mac laptop with the latest ios.
If you check songs, simply sync the entire library.
But I highly recommend (and it is far simpler) to create a playlist (or multiple playlists) and select only that playlist to sync.
Leave everything checked.
Then simply add/remove from these playlists and sync away. -
I have two iPads and giving 1st gen. to my grandson. Using my Apple idI for both... can we use different passwords to access our "own" apps. Also I don't want the downloaded App to go to both iPads. Been looking for hours for an explanation! Thanks for any help.

My ipad don't want to download apps
My Ipad2 don't want to download any apps and the news paper in the morning. I am on Wifi and can brows the internet.
I can download apps on my Laptop and then transfer it to my ipad, but I can't download the apps directly on my ipad2.
Any ideas?it goes out of the apps store to the main screen and and then the app just sits there and on it it says "waiting"

HELP! i want to download itunes 10.5!
I keep trying to download itunes 10.5 but it keeps telling me "old file cant be replaced" or something along those lines.. I tried to remove my old program but now i have no itunes on my computer, and it still wont download! help!
