I am sooooooo p****d off with Adobe. They have forced me to type my problem into a form three times and each time I press submit it disappears and I have to join/sign into/whatever their 'community'.
My problem is that trying to install Flash/Reader when told to by installer it says I have to shut down Safari. I do so and it continues to tell me to do this. I shut down and reopen without touching Safari, it still says this. It has done this is the last four OSx iterations without fail. Why is Adobe intent on wasting my time so much, I am a very busy girl and don't have time for them to mess me about like this.

Just tell me, you don't need to install Cubase on BootCamp WinXP, do you ?
I mean... i can export my files from Mac OSX Cubase as wave files and open them with WaveLab on BootCamp WinXP, right ?!
There should be no problem neither using other resources of the iMac for Mastering or Burning my Mastered CD on BootCamp WinXP, right ?
A friend adviced me to use "Parallels" (www.parallels.com), since then you don't have to boot to XP and then back to OSX in case of changes to my multitrack Mix and then importing it to WaveLab, etc. That could be kind of annoying.
Any experience anybody ?

I'm sorry that you're frustrated. The ExportPDF service is designed to preserve formatting, so that much is expected. Try exporting your content to a Rich Text Format (.rtf) document. That will strip out a good deal of the formatting of the document. If you still need to remove formatting, try copying the content to either a Notepad (Windows) or TextEdit (Mac) document (if using TextEdit, choose Format > Make Rich Text). Save that file. Close and reopen that document. Then copy and paste that content to a new Word document.

It sounds like you have a credit card saved to your Apple ID payment information and you would like it to be removed from the account and set the payment method to None. You should be able to do this with the following article:

Tap Settings on the Home screen.
Tap iTunes & App Stores.

Update the information that you want to change.
Tap the Done button when you're finished.

I have an old file with an .A4P video from 1999. I don't own any Adobe products (and don't really want to buy any). I just want to be able to convert the file to something that I can actually view. Any help?
I was a kid when I made a documentary for a school project. I've been trying to figure out how to retrieve the file. 4 years ago, I was able to get the files off the Iomega Zip drive (finally), but I now see the file is saved as a .A4P. There is also a file saved as a .PKG as well, but I don't know how to open this with my Windows 8 COmputer..a4p is an Authorware v.4 (Windows) project.
Interesting you have it as a .pkg...usually that's a published-on-a- Mac extension, if I recall.
At any rate, can you put the file up on a Box, Dropbox, FTP, etc...and send me a URL?
I should be able to published it so you can view the project (it would be an .exe).
It can't be converted to anything though - not without manual effort. -

Just what I say Jeri. I was persuaded to take up a montly sub for CS a year ago. I pay every month but have never used any upgrade even once. We couldnt install it and despite spending hours trying to get support u just cant get anything - We are totally fed up with the whole time wasting excercise.
Cant we simply get a set of discs for the current upgrade and go back to working sensibly.
We could go bust here just mucking about with this stupid cloud thing - It could become a lifes work just trying to sort the ****** thing out.
To add insult to injury I now see that the D Debit is GBP46.88 /mnth for absolutely NOTHING. Its a joke in bad taste.
At one time it was Adobe that had the best cus service around and Quark that were the crooks. Amazing how things turn around dont u think!!! -
Hello, i´ve a problem, i´ve bought an iphone 5s and when i try to log in Icloud i´ve a error. The error is that this iphone have created the maximum quantity of free acounts... Dont want to create a new account, just want to log in.
Then don't choose the option to create a new iCloud account. Choose the option to log in with your existing account.

If I click on an e-mail address link in a web page instead of a blank message opening I always get a pop up screen with a log-in for googlemail. I do not have and do not want a googlemail account. I just want to be able to send e-mails using Outlook.
OUtlook was already set as the mail client for FF, and is my operating system (XP)'s default mail programme. therefore problem not solved at all. what I get whenever I follow a link in a webpage to send an e-mail is a little pop up window asking me to sign in to gmail or open an account. any other suggestions?

I purchased iTunes Match, and all I noticed that it did was pull songs I purchased from iTunes many years ago. Songs that I don't want anymore. I just want songs that weren't purchased from iTunes to get uploaded and converted to better quality. Did iTunes do this for me, and I just didn't see it? Or did I purchase something, and didn't get the expected results? How can I get iTunes to upload and convert my lower quality music?
iTunes 10.5.3.3 on a PC.That's odd for sure.
Anyway, first set the iPod to manage the songs manually.
Then, select the iPod in the source list of iTunes, and click on the "music" option underneath it to show all your songs. Highlight the song(s) you no longer want on the iPod, right click and select "clear". The songs should be deleted from the iPod.
Now you can change the iPod back to your auto sync preference. -
Keep getting "Well that's Embarrassing" message starting previous session. I do not want to start previous session. I always want a new session. Need an option to always start a new session.
Both of the above cited options help ONLY if "sites to be restored" ''are listed''.
They used to be(when I first switched to Firefox); now they are not(even with the "Oops! This is embarassing..." message from FF where the "Restore Session" option is shown but with nothing IN it, y'see?).

First of all, did you actually accept the reset? You get the opportunity to cancel the reset, but I assume that you didn't cancel it and you did totally erase the phone.
If you backup with iCloud or iTunes, you can recover your content and data. Do you backup, or sync with iTunes? If you don't ever backup or have never synced with iTunes, you will not be able to recover your data or settings but you can download the majority of your purchased content again for free as long as you use the same Apple ID that you used to purchase the content.

I just bought a new computer. Itunes only offers me the option of erase and sync, as I can only have it sync'd with one computer. I want to move my music to this computer from my ipod. Is this possible, or do I have to go back to my cds and upload everything from there? I just want to be able to move my music from my ipod to the new computer.
You need to transfer your iTunes Library from the old computer to the new one - then you can carry on syncing as normal. You can't move non-purchased music from an iPod to iTunes using iTunes. For purchased music, choose iTunes > File > Transfer purchases...

The onlhy way is to do exactly what it's prompting you to do..recover it. You can then restore the more recent backup to get things back to how you wan them.

I m using a imac 28inch, and recently been working with the creative cloud. my main problem is working with dreamweaver, finding after awhile that if i move the page about it leaves a strobic static effect after , leaving the screen difficult to work with! would this be down to wifi or ram?

Airplay mirroring visual not working
