I don't want to use Yahoo for searching, but Firefox makes me

For some reason, whenever I use the search bar, Yahoo operates as the search engine. I don't want to use Yahoo. How to I get it to go away so Firefox uses Google instead?

P.S. I'm wondering how it got switched to Yahoo in the first place .... maybe a Yahoo toolbar or other add-on you installed?

Your gmail address is still your apple id. Just when you activate your mail and notes, it asks you to create icloud e-mail, which is completely separate and allows you to have one more e-mail address. Just some extra benefit, you don't have to pay for, but useful to save your notes and send e-mail or two if Google server goes down.

Can you describe what error message you're getting, in the Add-ons Manager or elsewhere? Or whatever else lead you to believe Firefox is blocking something.

Why start a new thread on the same topic as before the answers will all be the same you have to activate the iPhone through iTunes and sign a contract with AT&T to activate the iPhone otherwise you wont be able to take pictures or listen to music or use other features, didn't you do any research on the iPhone before purchasing it??? Sounds like you need to return your iPhone where you bought it and just pay the restocking fee and call it good.

Want to use ipad for work but need to measure foot candles??

Is there anytype of app for reading/measuring foot candles on the iPad? My job is interested in buying these for our fieldworkers but we need to know if theres a way we can measure foot candles. I just downloaded Pocket Light Meter. After I turn on the additional settings, I can see foot candles , however when I compare it to my actual light meter to check the validity of the Pocket Light Meter, they are way off. For me all of my data and backups are done through iCloud, but it still lets me sync to iTunes no prob. I would turn off Music and anything else you want on the iCloud menu on the iPhone, and then when you plug in to iTunes instead of saying iCloud backup say Computer backup.

Once you have created a rescue address, you cannot delete it, nor can you change it to the same address as used by your ID. There are numerous providers you can get additional email addresses from, such as Hotmail, Yahoo, Google etc etc.

If you don't want your sister to make purchases on your credit card, then Family Sharing is not an appropriate way to do what you want. You can use Find my Friends to locate each other and you can use Shared Photo Streams to share photos.

when i unchek the card information it was show me an error!

Though you are being asked for card details it doesn't necessarily mean that the card will be charged for the purchase (unless you want to gift content). Have you tried entering your card's details to confirm the account ? You should then be able to remove it.

Well, there is a whole world of free or affordable software out there like GIMP, PDPaint and similar. Otherwise if you want to stick with Adobe stuff signing up for the CC photography program would be the most cost-efficient way...
