I dont have the proper graphics adapter

So i recently dual booted my Macbook pro with windows 7 32bit OS, but now when i try t update the drivers for my AMD Radeon HD 6770M it says that i cant have the updates due to not having the proper graphics adapter. How do i update my graphics drivers? And where do i get the drivers from cause the AMD website isnt working and i havent found any 3rd party sites offering much more help.

I've found that the order of operations, so-to-speak, can be important when hooking up mini display port to HDMI. I have the most success with the following operations in this order:
1) Plug HDMI cable into mini displayport adapter (the cable should not be plugged into either the TV or the computer at this point)
2) Plug the mini displayport end of your new super-cable to the computer.
3) Plug the HDMI end into your TV.
4) Switch inputs on your TV to the proper input.
5) If still nothing on the TV, try a different HDMI port on your TV.

MI: the data objects in the SCV dont have the active DOE triggered adapter

We try to use SDOE_LOAD on MI7.1 to do the initial load.
However, we get the error:
"the data objects in the SCV dont have the active DOE triggered adapter."
We cannot find a fix anywhere.

Assuming that you are using 7.1 in non-backward compatibility mode.
1. The client post the update/delete/insert request to DOE in bound queue.
2. The DoE post these messages to the BE.
3. Meanwhile, after posting all the message client starts reading outbound messages in DoE till the outbound queue is empty.
4. WHILE the client is reading outbound messages in 3. above the BE has validated the update/delete/insert request and posted a confirmation/rejection messages to DoE outbound queue the message will flow down to the client in the same sync cycle.
However, if it's posted to DoE after the client has finishing syncing with DoE the message will flow down to the client in the next sync.
So you see it cannot be guaranteed that the ocnfirmation/rehection message will flow down to the client in the same sync cycle.It may or may not happen.

I treated my self to a new Macbook Pro with the AMD Radeon HD 6750M 1GB graphics cards..
Now that I've got everything up and running just dandy I Bootcamped Windows 7 (64 bit) on it to see how it would handle some gaming, I tried installing the latest graphics drivers from AMD and am presented with this error message :
"Your Computer does not contain a proper graphics adapter."
Is this normal?? Has Apple restricted the installations of drivers on the MBP or have I got a problem?

Hi folks! I was scouring the web for some answers and got pulled to this thread. I've got a mid-2011 iMac 27", i7 with the 2gb HD 6970M (bootcamping Win7, 64-bit) and I also get that same error as OrphanGymnast when attempting to play the Battlefield 3 Beta. Whenever I try to join a server it says my Catalyst version is out of date and that I need to upgrade, in turn it only references the generic AMD url. However, the game still manages to play, but I'm not sure if I'm getting the proper performance I should be getting with the latest driver. Anyway I tried AMD's auto detector and nothing...same message shown above in the OP. Now I find myself here.
I'm not that hardcore about pc gaming so messing around with drivers and such is pretty new to me. From what I gather the reason for getting, the "Your Computer does not contain a proper graphics adapter." is because mobile/laptop GPU's have to rely on their manufacturers (Apple, in our case) to roll out their specific driver updates and not AMD. I used the following links, but encountered a few problems.

When I tried to uninstall the current ATi catalyst it was not showing up in "Programs and Features". I figured I could then just run the CCC and saw there was an uninstall option through there. CCC ran the uninstall, but the progress bar got hung up about 99% of the way through and after about a half hour in that state, I decided to End Task. By now, my display is all out of wack since it deleted the original driver. I rebooted and proceeded to install the 11.9 catalyst and that too got hung up about halfway through for a while...had to End Task again. Rebooted and display was still jacked up so I just threw back in my Bootcamp Support Disc and repaired drivers...now all things back to normal (display driver v8.812).
So now that I'm back at square one, would anyone that successfully updated their mobile GPU care to tell me where I messed up? I would greatly appreciate it. I apologize for the long read, but I wanted to be as clear as possible.

Unfortunatly the only way that you can get it off is to get the old user to input the password. You may need to contact that old user and see if he can put the old password in. hope this helps.

When I use Firefox the images and logos don't show up clearly/correctly. I'm using Windows 2000 Pro. and just installed Firefox 3.6.6. I'm sure I have the right graphics driver as I'm able to see the images and logos clearly in Internet Explorer. I only have the "default plugin 1.0.0.15" installed. I'm thinking that I'm missing a plugin or add-on of some sort, but I'm not sure which one(s). When I go to "updates" it says there were no updates available. When I go to "Add-ons" it gives a list of Add-ons but I'm not sure which would help my issue. Any help would be appreciated.:)

If this is an iPad 1, it won't mirror, but it will still output video from the 30 Pin dock connector.
If your new TV has a conventional VGA in and stereo inputs you can try this connector.

I used to stream video from both Netflix and YouTube and from my Mac using iTunes sharing through my iPad then with this connector plug into my iPad and TV.
It won't be high resolution, but it will get you picture from iPad to TV.

How have you managed to get apps on your phone that are tied to a different and unknown AppleID?
If these apps were not purchased by you, having them is effectively software piracy and you should purchase them using your own AppleID if you want to keep hem.

How do I deal with "StartUpItems if2k" has not been started because it does not have the proper security settings?

Whenever I turn on or restart my MBP, a dialog box appears saying --> “/Library/StartupItems/if2k” has not been started because it does not have the proper security settings.
How can I fix this?
First, I searched online and found a site with a If2k_Remover_V2.zip file, but whenever I try to open the link, a page comes up saying,

You don't have permission to access /w/files/if2k/If2k_Remover_V2.zip on this server.
Any thoughts on this?
Also, I see the if2k folder in the Library/StartUpItems; is it something I can just drag into the Trash? Or would that be a bad move?

You need to return it to the seller and get your money back. You cannot reset or use the device with another AppleID installed unless you know the password for that ID.
If the device has been jailbroken, no one on here can give you any further help...the Terms of Use prohibit us from doing so.

Apple can fix it without your receipt or box. They pull the serial number from the device and determine warranty status from that. Hopefully ApplCare was registered to the product before you lost the receipt though. If not, you can go back to the point of purchase and obtain your AppleCare receipt and Apple can help attach it to the iPhone.
