ok i bought my friends ipod touch and on the way home from getting it i was restoring and reseting the date but the batterie died and now all it dose is show the apple sign and then i can get it to the connect button but it the connect the usb part to itunes

srry data not date
but is there like some thing i can download and install to my ipod from my pc
but if its any help he bought the update when it came out

I want my FAQ's page to go something like this...
general page layout stays the same, TOC, title, footer, etc.
Then in the middle of the page, I would like the user to be able to
flick through the FAQ's like a book. So the first lot of info comes
up, then they can click on '2' for example and another lot of
information appears, then '3' and so on. So the FAQ text moves on,

Unfortunately, there is pretty much nothing you can do. Only the owner of the account used to lock it can remove the lock. If you can't contact whoever you purchased it from, or if they can't or won't remove the lock, then it's a brick. There is a very real chance that it's stolen.

My ipad does not appear in itunes. I am OS 10.6, itunes is up to date, I have restarted computer and ipad and switched usb sockets. Dont know if its related, but I can no longer see my sony handycam in imovies too.

What content are you wanting to copy of the iPad ? You should be able to copy off anything that you've purchased from Apple (films, music, ibooks, apps etc) by connecting the iPad to your computer's iTunes and doing File > Transfer Purchases. If you want to copy off music copied from your own CDs or purchased from other sites then you will need to find a program for your computer that can copy them off – iTunes won't copy them off.
For photos taken with the iPad, copied to it via the camera connection kit or saved from emails/websites then you should be able to copy them off via the Windows camera wizard.
For photos that were originally synced from a computer you will need a third-party app such as Simple Transfer which can copy them off via your wifi network. But as photos are 'optimised' when they are synced to the iPad, any that you then copy back to a computer may not be exactly the same as they originally were on your computer.
Content in third-party apps (documents and files etc) then how you copy that content off will depend upon what the apps that they are in support e.g.either via the file sharing section at the bottom of the device's apps tab when connected to iTunes, via wifi, email, dropbox etc.

I'm glad to hear that they replaced your phone. Any experience I have had with Apple customer service and/or Genius bar has been extremely positive. While I have had positive outcomes from trouble with other phones in the past, they are not as quick and friendly. I had a Motorola phone and a Samsung phone go bad several years ago and warranty work through AT&T required that I wait for a replacement unit and then mail back the original unit to keep from being charged for the device. This usually meant almost a week without a phone. Nice to walk into Apple and walk out with a replacement device. Enjoy your phone.

Charge for 15 minutes with the wall or mains adapter. Then hold the HOME and SLEEP buttons until an Apple logo appears. If something other than an Apple logo appears follow the instructions on the screen. If nothing happens after holding for 30 seconds you have a hardware problem.

You are experiencing Activation Lock. If the previous owner will not remove the device from their account there is nothing you can do unless the place you purchased it from will give you a refund.

red button and makes the uav shoot 5 SWAT men all the SWAT get down on the ground for cover and you run down stairs pushing the 1 on the stairs aginst the railing and grabing his gun and shooting 4 swat they shoot back all hitting the dude your holding you
run into the hallway push 2 SWAT out of the way and 1 agianst the wall and shooting the gun into his chest then throwing the gun and a SWAT in the hallway running to the kitchen and jumping threw a sliding glass door to the backyard jumping the fence to another
house and then jumping another to the street running with the case being shot at a car comes around the corner of the street and hits you making you flip and freeze frames while your in the air showing the title.

i dont realy know much to this game yet but it kinda makes story in the intro mabye he goes to jail or mabye he doesnt mabye he gets away and you have to fly the uav upgrading it as you go maybye you just rob more places i dont know yet

Need a part for a Desk Jet 550C, dont know what it is, but i have a picture

im trying to find a replacement part for my old Desk Jet 550C
i think its called a cap, and prevents the cartridge from drying out.

there are reccessed spaces for 1 rectangular cap on the left (for the black cartridge) and 1 square cap on the right (for the color cartridge)
they are made out of some kind of a rubbery material. i have the cap for the color cartridge, but it is removed currently as i have just washed all the old ink out of it and its still drying.

took me about 2 or 3 minutes to safely and carefully get the printer taken apart, at which point i found the missing 'cap'
here is a picture of them both, but the left cap is brittle, and still needs to be replaced if at all possible. (left cap is for the black ink cartridge, right cap is for the color cartridge; both cartridges rest atop these caps to seal the cartridges whenever they are not actively printing on a page)

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
