I dont know whats going on
Itunes tells me that my iphone cant work with the itunes I have because I dont have the latest softwear but I have the latest on both my iphone and itunes. HELP
The message said " This iPhone cannot be used because the required software is not installed. Run the iTunes installer to remove Itunes, then install the 64-bit version of iTunes. This message come up when I connect my iPhone to my computer. I've uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes and it still didn't work

Are you sure it is not error 1611?
Error 1611
This error typically occur when security software interferes with the restore and update process. Follow Troubleshooting security software issues to resolve this issue. In rare cases, this error may be a hardware issue. If the errors persist on another computer, the device may need service.
Try a different USB cable also. -
i'm trying to update to 4.3.4 but its giving me "iphone could not be updated this device isn't eligible for the requested build" . . . i dont know what going on . . anyone ?
SOLUTION FOR ALL.
This works. Thanks. The best way to do this is through the terminal. Just do the following commands in terminal:
Type sudo su
Press enter
Then enter your password and hit enter
Type vi /etc/hosts
Move your cursor with the down arrow to the line that has gs.apple.com without a # at the beginning of the line.
Move cursor to the beginning of that line.
Type i# then press the esc key.
Type :wq
Press enter
Type exit
Press enter
Now you can quit out of the terminal application. This likely is a problem caused by Tiny Umbrella denying itunes communicating with the apple servers. -

Do a reset, hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up.

Hi You may have a hardware fault take ipad to Apple Store. Ring then first to make an Appointment take box and you purchase paperwork they may give you A replacement. Before you do that Try a Reboot hold down power button & menu button hold both down until you see Apple Logo you may need to hold down for up to 30 Seconds But you may need to do this more than once. If it doesn't work take back to Apple Store. Cheers Brian

My Zen MicroPhoto goes straight to Recovery Mode and I dont know what to
Hey, I need help figuring out why does my Zen MicroPhoto goes into recovery mode now by itself. I had difficulties with the same issue with a Zen Micro. My Zen MicroPhoto had issues in the past where it would spontaniously restart and rebuild the library. I would one second listen to music on the bus and sit down slowly, then the music cuts and the zen microphoto resets itself. Can I get some help here?! I really dont want to resort to sending it out for repairs unless its a last resort.

Press and hold the Home and Power buttons on your iPhone until it shuts off.
Connect it connect it to your computer with th USB cable.
Press and hold down the Home button.
Hold it it down until iTunes says your device is entering recovery mode.
Now you should be able to Restore using iTunes. -

Reset the device:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings -

my ipod touch screen has turned bright white. the things are visible but partially and when shift the screen it leaves trails behind. i dont know what to do help please.
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- Try another cable
- Try on another computer

So I have a file on my desktop and I cannot open it, move it to a folder, or delete it from my mac. I dont know what it has in it, and that makes me suspicious. What can I do to remove this unremovable file from my computer? Is it a virus?
First, I would recommend repairing the hard drive with Disk Utility.
If that doesn't fix the problem, there's a very dangerous command you can execute in the Terminal. This is very hazardous, because a simple typo can result in very drastic consequences. I have seen people erase their entire hard drive by putting a space in the wrong place! So, please follow the directions I'm going to give you very carefully!
Open the Terminal, which is found in the Utilities folder in the Applications folder. In the Terminal, enter the following:
sudo rm -f
Make sure to put a space after the "-f"! Then, drag the troublesome file from the Finder and drop it on the Terminal window. That should insert the path to the file in the command. Then go back to the Terminal and press return. You will be asked for your password, and when you type it, nothing will be shown as a security measure. Press return again after entering your password. The file should be deleted. -
I need help. My ipad 2 was stuck in recovery mode. i tried to connect it to itunes and restore but after downloading the file and extracting the software there is a pop up message that says "the device is full. yes i am sure. This are the exact words... "The iPad "iPad" could not be restored. The disk you are attempting to use is full. (Removing files and emptying the recycle bin will free up additional space". i tried some options, hard reset, redsnow, tinyumbrella but still it's stuck.

In your Start menu, right-click Computer and select "Manage".
Expand "Services & Applications".
Open "Services". (Perhaps maximise the screen to better see what's going on.)
Right-click the Bonjour Service and select "Properties".
In the General tab, set the Startup type to "Disabled":
... and click OK.
Restart the PC and try launching iTunes. Does it open this time? -

If you set up the Find My iPod service prior to the iPod going missing, then there is a chance that can be tracked, though it depends on a number of factors (the iPod is turned on, connected to a WiFi network, and has not had the Find My iPod service disabled or the iPod been completely restored).
If you did not set up Find My iPod, then there is no way to track it. Contact the police and change any passwords for any online accounts you may have used from your iPod (the iTunes Store, for instance).
