Did you run the installer which you downloaded? Which operating system are you using btw?

The background is missing. Black text is now appearing white. Cannot see most of the page, because the text is white!!!!! HELLLLLLLPPPPPPPP!

Some of the text shows up in black or a shade of blue. The firefox logo is in full color. I have tried Tools/Option/Contents/Color - the settings are correct, but even after rebooting the computer, still missing most of the text. The background is white.
Checked other Browsers, and none of them are appearing correctly. Firefox is my "beloved" browser, so I am turning to you for help!

Reset to the Firefox "Default" theme in Add-ons > Appearance. Then, if you wish, find a different Theme or Persona, that is not so dark:

I dont see computers on the network on the side bar in finder

Hi I am new to mac ( 2 days )
I am connected to a wireless network with a couple of pc's but I cant see them in the finder bar or any other network items....
I have enabled sharing on the Pc's and I can see the mac book on them and transfer files etc but cant see anything on the mac book
I am using OS X snow leopard
Can anyone help ?

Assuming that your settings are correct (see above), I decided to change something to see if I could get my smb shares to show up under Shared more consistently. Previously I had problems connecting with my iBook if it went to sleep. And, it too would disappear from Shared if it went to sleep. So, I did my best to keep all the machines from sleeping. Now, no machine has disappeared from Shared unless I let it sleep accidentally or intentionally. Note that there appears to be a positive correlation between (a) a share disappearing and the length of time a it has been asleep and (b) shares disappearing and the numbers of shares asleep. Of, course, this work around requires you to prevent sleeping on machines you think you will want to connect with in the "near" future.

What is the Dir location of the "Firefox or Android" APK on Android Phones? I can see most of the installed APK's with a different file mgr but not Firefox.

I am not sure where the installation dir is for "Firefox for Android" on my Motorola ATRIX HD phone. Most of the the APK's can be found but I can't find where Firefox is installed. I am trying to put a previous version on but the one installed thru Google's App Store app on the phone doesn't provide info on type other than version number. As such, the Mozilla's FTP site provides various archived versions for mobile devices but trying to find the APK to ensure the proper archived version is used makes it impossible to do. I'm guessing it installs from the app store but doesn't put the APK on the phone. Or is something else at work here?

I dont see devices in the sidebar - why not?

I am trying to transfer photos from my notebook to my ipad. I have installed iTunes on my notebook. I have connected the iPad to my notebook.
I have tried uploading pictures to the iTunes - nothing happens.
I cannot see a devices option in the left hand column so that I can select the iPad - I do not undertsdnad why.
can somoene please explain what I am doing wrong?

Can't purchse, preview or even see most of the items in the iTunes store.

I am able to get to the iTunes store, but once there I can only see the information on the side. Everything else is blank. I can't preview or purchase anything either. Can someone help?

MacBook with 10.6.6 using Firefox 3.6.13. Parts of many websites not loading properly, from banking to Google searches. I'll see some of the text on the page, but most is missing.

Example: I do a Google search using the word 'Firefox' and see most of the Google upper left corner details but no info or URLs actually load so no searching can be done.
If I copy and paste a chunk of the page, I do see the text that should be visible, but is not.
Is there a way of sharing screen grabs? Easier than describing this.

No I'm not using NoScript, but I'm pleased to report that the problem got resolved by deleting the original bookmark, logging in again, opening Google calendar, then bookmarking it again.

What is the installed operating system and version (32-bit or 64-bit)?
Do you mean the volume slider from the taskbar or the one from the audio software/
The audio driver can be found on the driver and software download section of the web support portal for your notebook. This is the page you seek. Use the dropdown to select the correct version of the installed operating system for your notebook. Right-click Computer and select properties to see which version is installed in your notebook.

Cant see most images from my company website when I Download to local??

We had a website built for our company www.ivmechicago.com
I bought dreamweaver to make changes to it and D/L the entire site including dependant images but when I open on local machine I dont see any of the images when I use split screen or live?? Why is this. It worked with Vista but I upgraded to windows 8 so I could use photoshop and now it acts like it doesnt see files. The images are there in the img folder for the website. Any help would be extremely helpful. Thanks, Scott

I see you are experiencing issues with sound on applications when playing video/audio content. If this is the case, the first thing I would check is if the side switch is set to silent as this can cause applications to be mute. Below I have included an article that covers adjusting the settings for the side switch. Also, make sure to close all applications in Multitasking and power cycle the device. Test the sound issue after processing these steps.
