I'm here to buy a Thinkpad T430. The issue is, I'm currently located in Pakistan, and the way I would buy a lenovo is through a friend in the UnitedStates.
Now I would love to get an idea of how much a new T430 would cost me, because on the same website lenovo stats a t430 for over 1499$, and the same model with the same specs for 800$. Links bellow:

(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. Service Pack 2 help... i dont understand this...

well... i had trouble loading up boot camp recently... and this is the thread from that problem... http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1552191&tstart=0 .... now i have a new problem...
when i go and try to install service pack 2, i get this message...
There is not enough disk space on C:\WINDOWS/$NTServicePackUninstall$ to install service pack 2. Set up requires a minimum of 4 additional megabytes of free space or if you also want to archive the files for uninstallation, set up requires 4 additional megabytes of free space. Free up space on hard drive and try again.
thats the message. I have used 18GB for the Windows partition and i dont understand why its not working.

SP2 is a 75mb download. It then expands to 3x that.
Then it has to backup the files it's going to replace.
then it replaces them.
Then it makes another copy of itself in the system restore point folders.
So you really need at least a GB free in order to install SP2, preferably more.

You'll need to contact the site and ask that they support MP3 based streams. They currently offer Real Audio & Windows Media formats, which iTunes cannot play.

Reboot your computer. If that doesnt work, then reboot and while it lists all the hardware info at start up and right before the windows logo screen press F8 and it will give you the option to select from Last Known Good Configuration, Start Windows XP Normally, etc.

I dont understand this board

Got my ocz in, booted with both sticks and settings of 3-3-3-8 (wanted to see how high i could clock it), set mutliplier to 9, then clockgen failed, so i used corecenter to bump fsb to 250 (220-230-240-250) everything ran fine, rebooted, opened clockgen couldnt change multiplier (kept crashing), removed one stick, could change multiplier but with an fsb over 235 machine just restarted. Why would it run fine at 250 with 2 sticks, then not be able to get over 235 with 1?

with memory at 166 in bios i can go to fsb of 300 (still at multiplier of 4, ht of 3), which leaves memory at 240 so obviously 235 doesnt make sense. Also befor I was hitting 270 with memeroy at 2/3 (using the old corsair) so proc can do more then 2.35 (can hit 2.5 stable at 1.65) so i realy cant figure out what is going on, but i am desperately praying for a bios update.

Well first of all, you must speak in basic english...I have a basic Iphone 3....which I use to have Skpye on it..after restoreing it, it will not allow me to add Skype to it now......any ideas? the Software is always updated but not to the IOS.4.4 only IOS.4.2.1

The latest version of Skype will not work on such an old version of iOS. I believe it needs 4.3, which you cannot get on your iPhone 3G. Restore to a backup that was done while you still had Skype on the iPhone.

It's a do-while loop. With misplaced braces, it should be
do {
stuff();
} while (askUserWhetherToContinue());as your compiler is probably telling you.
This pretty much does what it says; the part inside the "do" is repeated until the part within the "while" equals false. If your main looks like above, you would put whatever your program is supposed to do in a method "stuff", and you would query the user to e.g. press y/n in the "askUser" method and return their answer as a boolean.

i have recently purchased a Surface RT because i liked the idea of the PC/Tablet but now im beginning to think i screwed myself over. for instance i cant download itunes well... i can it goes through the entire download and at the very end it tells me that i cant run this on my PC asnd wants me to get evrything out of the windows store. i dont understand this i still have a desktop feature that looks and is like any other computer but why can i not download itunes? also i downloaded the RT remote app which is supposed to access itunes but it as to be up and running on your desktop I DO NOT UNDERSTAND THIS! please help

It is not possible to install iTunes on a Windows RT device. The RT device is not a full scale computer OS.

Remanufactured Battery from Lenovo Outlet

Hello,
I ordered a remanufactured 6-cell battery from Lenovo Outlet during their promotion period last month. It arrived last Friday. Everything looked fine when I unpacked it.
However, when I checked the ASM (92P1142) and FRU number (42T4777). It looks like that ASM is on the recall list years ago. This battery pack is manufactured by Sony with cycle count of 0. I am concerned of the safety issue and email Lenovo Outlet. They told me to call technical support department. I tried this afternoon and waited for over 20 minutes without any human representative asking my call.
Anybody has similiar experience or can answer my question? TIA.

How to find lenovo outlet machine spec

hey guys i just ordered a new ThinkPad T430 and when is was delivered i found there was no such information from outer box telling me the detailed spec of this machine, so i am wondering if there is anyway i can find the detailed spec? it lacks of Bluetooth/keyboard/network adapter information from the outlet page.
also, i am curious how accurate lenovo outlet spec is. is that possible i will get a machine with better or wose configuration?

You need to find your ThinkPad's machine type / model number. It's printed on a small label on the bottom of the case or inside the battery compartment and looks something like this (the 2668-KHU part):

This has nothing to do with the Find my iPhone app being installed on the phone, but you do have to have Find my iPhone activated in the iCloud settings on the phone.

To get the iPod in recovery mode and DFU mode you first have to turn the iPod off.
Just what is the problem you are tying to resolve?
Sometimes you have to let the battery fully drain if you can't turn the iPod off. After charging for at least hour try again.
