    If the email's not in a spam filter, you need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; this can be done by phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, or clicking here and picking a method, or if your country isn't listed in either article, filling out and submitting this form.
    They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

    You can send over WiFi, but it sounds as if you need to setup your Gmail account, or did you do this already?

    I am renting a movie via itunes to Apple TV and accidently stopped the download, I cant see where to restart download. I have tried to check it out in Settings but cant get any info in regards to "check for rentals"
    There must be a way i can view the download and determine how long and re-start the process.
    Any ideas would be most appreciated.

    Once you've pressed 'buy' you will have been charged, whether or not you then download it.   • How do you delete phantom albums from the music on my iPad?  I keep all my shareable music in the cloud and don't want to utilize iPad storage.  I read the answer that says I have to download the music again so I can delete it but that seems silly.

    i have most of my shareable music in the cloud.  I try to clean out the downloaded music on my iPad to clean up storage.  i used to be able to delete local copied music easily but somehow in ios 8 or so, I lost the ability to delete albums.  I read the support suggestion that I should re download this music so I then can delete it.   This seems so silly I can't imagine that this was Apple's intention.  Anybody got a clue?

  • ITunes keeps trying to download a HD movie I don't want.

    My broadband provider (Qwest) has an issue with large files.  I'm not able to download any single file that is larger than 2 GB, I've called them multiple times on this issue and they say yes, it's real and it's a problem.  Any time I try and download something larger than that (an HD movie for example) it resets my connection, iTunes times out, and I have to reset everything (including rebooting my internet connection).
    Knowing that I mistakenly purchased a couple of HD movis through the iTunes store.  Now even though I can't actually download them, iTunes attempts to every time I open itunes, update iPhone apps, grab new podcasts, etc.  How do I permanently delete these two downloads from my queue so it never attempts to download them again? 
    It cannot complete the download, and never will be able to, so I'm stuck with a froen connection everytime I do one of these things with iTunes.  I can't find an option anywhere to delte permanently.

  • ANY ANSWERS FROM APPLE?

    3 issues after trying everything posted here. Issue 1) Garageband 4.1.2 quits every time I try to open it as a new project. The only workaround I found is to take one of the demo songs, open it, strip out all the tracks, then save it as a "Template" and open Garageband from the template when I need to start a new recording. Issue 2) I try to import a midi file in GarageBand and it disappears instead of loads everytime. Issue 3) I just recently installed Addictive Drums. They don't open in GarageBand at all. XLN Audio says it's an Apple problem. Not a real good answer. After all it was promised to be, GarageBand seems to be turning into more of a problem than the upgrade to iLife '08 is worth.

    I tried the preference file removal trick, tried re-installing iLife'08, every up-date for iLife'08, repaired permissions (with Disk Utility, Drive Genius), disconnected each Firewire device one at time and try to open again, disconnected the USB devices one at a time also, get all the up-dates for any external devices (T.C. Electronic Konnekt 24D, Alesis Axiom controller), made sure all the files were where they are prescribed to be, even disconnected the Summit Audio tube mic pre, ran the Fire wire devices into the on-board firewire ports instead of an external port. Am I missing anything?

    Why would you get help from Apple?  You need to contact your credit card company and find out why the security code is invalid.

                This is a big issue, there is a workaround though and some of you may not like it, but here it is and you can decide. It would appear that in order to centre an image in ios7 you need to create a canvas larger than the image. It would appear that Apple have used the 1680 by 1050 format. My recommendation is to create a canvas of 1536 pixels by 1040 pixels and then centre an image of your choice of 1024 by 768 pixels if you wish to see your image in the horizontal format. If you want to view your wallpaper image in the portrait orientation I would recommend an image no larger than 768 pixels wide. You can do this in most imaging software or even in Keynote if you have it. I have sample here if you like http://www.williamsartand photography.com/Untitled.jpg.

    The Apple TV does not have accessible storage. It is simply caching the streamed content and once other content is accessed or the device turned off the rental is flushed requiring reload.
    If you want to store you can rent on your computer and stream via home-sharing.
