I have a G4 Mac OSX10.4.11. I've used Firefox for 4-5 years through TimeWarner Cable and updated as the updates appeared. When Firefox 4 appeared I updated and it did not launch. I tried to get it through Safari and the same happened in addition to a warning that Firefox is an application and the question: do you want to continue? I, of course, said yes. I still won't load even if I shut down an boot up again.

Firefox 4 requires at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac. You can get the latest version of Firefox 3.6 from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html

If you see Devices in the big list on the left-hand side of iTunes, it should show the name of your iPhone right below it. You can right-click (or hold ctrl and left click) on the name of the iPhone there, and choose "transfer purchases from iPhone".
If you're on iTunes 11, you won't see the big list of the left until you go to the View menu at the very top (where you see iTunes/File/Edit/View/etc) and choose Show Sidebar. Then do the same thing: right-click or ctrl and left-click on the iPhone's name below Devices and "transfer purchases from iPhone".
It'll ask you to authorize the computer for your Apple ID if you haven't yet; to do that, you just type your Apple ID and password in when it asks. If it says you are not authorized but doesn't automatically give you an option to do so, then you can go to the Store menu at the very top and choose "authorize this computer".

You can't download firefox to iPad. You can only download applications that are on the App Store. I haven't heard anything about a Firefox App for iPad.

Read the KB. Earlier today I had a fail to sync - I closed my Calendar app and the reopened and all was good.
Sometimes just closing the app the relaunching is all it takes. At other times a reboot of the Mac is all that is needed.

How do I replace 3.6.16 with 4.0? Tried Downloading and following instructions and did not work

I downloaded the installer from the website to my Desktop, clicked on the dmg icon which opened two things; a "drive" icon and a window with the firefox logo/icon pointing to the applications folder. When I dragged the logo/icon into the Applications folder I recieved this message: "A newer item named “Firefox” already exists in this location. Do you want to replace it with the older one you’re moving?" Since I am running 3.6.16, I found this confusing and did not proceed. Didn't want to screw up what I had.
Is it ok to proceed despite this msg.

I recently downloaded Lion from Leopard. In trying to synch my devices, I find my calendars will not synch. It says I cannot connect to DAVical. How do I fix this?

First, try repairing permissions. It's often recommended to be done both before AND after installing software updates.
Find Disk Utilities in the Utilities folder (on the Applications folder). Launch it and, in the left-hand pane, single-click your boot volume (if you have multiple volumes/drives/partitions on you hard drive). A "Repair Permissions" button is under the main window. Click it and let the program work.
If that doesn't work, post back.

What version of Reader are you using, and are you on Mac OS or Windows? Do you get the same error when you try to print other PDF files, or is the problem specific to one PDF?
For starters, please try the solutions listed in this thread: Re: There is a problem with Adobe Acrobat /Reader. If it is running ,please exit and try again.(0:104)

How do I get rid of isearch.fantastigames. I was downloading a free CCLEANER and followed instructions. The next time I booted up, it was there.

You have downloaded CCleaner from page that bundles downloads with various toolbars. So while you are not infected with malware, you got a PUP - potentially unwanted application.
What you should do:
1. Go through your addons list and remove everything you do not recognize
2. Reset your search providers in Firefox AND in other browsers (it is likely to affect all main browsers on your PC, no mater which one you use)

Verify that you have sufficent privilidges to start systems services. I now have no iTunes on my laptop, can't reinstall iTunes, and I am pulling my hair out because I can not figure out how to send an e-mail to Apple because I bought my iPad just over a year ago. PLEASE HELP!!!

I just want to get itunes off my computer and reinstall itunes, i have deleted everything i can and i ran "chkdsk" this did nothing. I would have just updated the oild itunes to the newest version but it didnt ley me do that. installing/ uninstalling or deleting just lets me get half way and shows me these errors. Please help, thank you.

If the chkdsk isn't fixing the damage, and those are the only iTunes that can't be deleted, try renaming the "iTunes" folder that they are contained in (in your Program files) to iTunesOLD.
Now try another install. Does it go through without the 2330 this time?
