I download podcasts to iTunes, arrange em in Playlists, sync em to my iphone, listen to em on Podcasts app. For some reason, not every podcast loads from iTunes to my phone. In one playlist, I have 48 episodes on iTunes, only 35 load to my iPhone. Why?
In some cases, but not all, the Podcast app doesn't sync podcast episodes with the same Title, even though the episode may be from a different date and is therefore a different episode. The Podcast app seems to think it is a duplicate episode but it is not. I wish Apple would just allow podcasts to load to, and be listened to, from the Music app.

You cannot manually manage music with match turned on on your iOS device. If you want to manage music manually, you will need to turn off match on your iPhone.

You both should probably delete any conversations that originated from her e-mail address if you want to avoid perpetuating this confusion. -
I have downloaded all of the recent upgrades for both Itunes and Iphone. Now for some reason, not all of my songs in my playlists are transferring when I sync. Previously I have had the songs in the playlists on my phone, but now some of them are not there although they are listed and show in Itunes. Any ideas?
iTunes will only copy back iTunes purchased music. If you don't still have a copy of the music that you copied from CDs or bought from other stores anywhere (e.g. on another computer or on your backup of your library) then there are some third-party programs listed half-way this page which should be able to copy them back : Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device.

when I add tunes from a CD into iTunes on myMacPro, shouldn't I be able to see them on my iPad and iPhone if I've got iCloud? For some reason I thought the advertisement on TV said "add music here, and see it there.." or was that just photos?
Oh, wait -- also, you took about uploading CDs. I don't think *those* would automatically go to your other devices *until* you subscribe to iMatch or whatever that's called. You have to pay an extra $25 a year to get all your uploaded stuff in the cloud and therefore on your other devices. Anything you *purchase* from iTunes on one device would automatically be sent to the other devices.
I did the Match thing, and it took a while at first to upload all the non-iTunes stuff, but then it worked. The whole thing is still new and has some kinks to work out. -

In AppStore.app for some reason when I try to update my apps, it asks for the wrong user account than the one that I am logged in with. This makes me unable to update my apps
You would have downloaded those apps with the wrong Apple ID then created a new Apple ID which is the on you are on now. This is acting as normal because all content downloaded from the iTunes and App Store is attached to the Apple ID it was downloaded with. To stop this you would delete the apps and redownload them with your current Apple ID you are signed in with.

I want to open a folder in a separate window by clicking on it. For some reason when I click on a folder it just replaces the one I was just in. I want them both to be open at the same time without having to go through several steps. Old apple operating systems made it easy to have several folders open at one time.
Eric, thanks that works but seems like an extra added step also to do it that way. I've got to move and organize a ton of files and I'm looking for a easy way to get this done. I could also open the folder into a separate tab and then drag the tab out so it becomes an open window but thats a lot of fussing around also with extra steps. Not sure why these newer operating system seems more confusing and less user friendly than what they used to. In the past I could just click on any folder and it would open in a separate window making it really easy to copy or move files from one place to the other just by simply dragging them from one window to the other. Seems like I'm going through several extra steps now to do a simple task.

i just bought my first iphone 4 actually i bought two and for some reason on both phones one of the speakers does not work im just wondering if this is normal because i took it back to the store and they told me all of the phones are the same?????
There is only one speaker, what looks like another speaker is actually a microphone. All iPhones only have one speaker down by the dock connector.

I have an iPhone 3gs, operating on iOS 6. For some reason, I'm unable to custom delete individual photos from my photo library. When I select the Edit button to do so, I'm only given the 2 options of "Share" and "Add To". My Camera Roll does everything the way I wish my Photo Library would. Can anyone help?
Only photos in the Camera Roll can be deleted. The rest of the photos got there by synching to your computer. You get them off the same way.

So today is Chritmas and everything so I got iTunes Gift Cards ^_^. I go to my computer (PC) and log into my iTunes and everything and see Pitch Perfect so thinking I've got enough money for this I can just buy it no problem. Meanwhile, my iPod Touch 4th Generation is syncing to my PC. Me thinking I have enough storage space for the movie to be held. I buy it and think its gonna goahead and be on my iPod now.
