Do you receive an error message?  Which operating system are you using?  Are you trying to download the Photoshop CS6 trial or Photoshop Elements 10?

  • Can an employee download the free Adobe Reader onto a company PC without causing a license issue?

Also what happens if a lot of the employees do the same?  Does this bring up license issues?

Yes, the employee can download the free Adobe Reader onto a company computer without a license issue.
BUT, the company computer would have to be configured such that this activity was permitted. Not all company computers are configured this way. The typical user profile is more restrictive than the user profile we have for the OS and applcations installs on our personal computers.
Adobe provides a download of the installer on the Adobe.com site. Lotsa people use it to get Adobe Reader; so, no problem if all the employees at your place do it (IF the user profile on the computer permits it).
    Be well...

  • I am not able to download the free Adobe Digital Editions in order to view the 2012 Master Tax Guide

Once I tried and got done on the status bar but it was not downloaded. The next time the status bar had error on page. Please advise.

Diana, there's a process to follow here, and there can be some technical
    issues as well.
First the technical issues.  If you have a Windows PC with Windows 7, you
may need to adjust its security settings to allow the download and also the
    interface to the tax guide.
Next, while Digital Editions is free, you need to register with Adobe and
obtain an Adobe ID in order to use it properly with most sites.  I'd start
there if you have not done so already.
After you've registered, obtained an Adobe ID and downloaded/installed
Digital Editions, go to the site where the tax guide is to be downloaded
from and try to do that.  If you get 'strange' messages, Digital Editions
may be telling you that your security settings need adjustment to allow
    downloads from this site.
    Hope this helps!

  • Why can't I use the free Adobe reader?

I just submitted a question and all this pops up.  I couldn't afford the full subscription.  But when the trial period ended, it won't let me open pdf documents. So I downloaded the free adobe reader.  It still doesn't let me open pdf files.  I have become less and less impressed with Adobe.  It has be a real pain to work with.  I'm glad I CAN'T afford it because I think it would be very aggravating to work with just from my experience with the trial subscription.  Is there a way for me to use the free adobe reader?

What is your operating system?  What is your Reader version?  What exactly means "doesn't let me"?
You had a trial of what - Acrobat?  Did you uninstall it after the trial ended?

Part of the problem in helping is likely that there is no program Adobe -- that is the company name. You are in the Acrobat forum, but it sounds like you have subscribed to Export PDF or such, a different program. The subscription to Acrobat is currently $19.99 per month.

Assistanttolindsey the Adobe Download Assistant will download the installation files for Adobe Acrobat Professional XI.  By default they are saved to your download folder.  You can begin the installation process from there.

  • Where do I download the updated Adobe Installer for a CS6 disk?

I am so sick of Adobe I am ready to blow my head off! As anyone can tell from my other questions I have been working on the same problem for some time now.
I have a CS6 disk that I uploaded to my computer, but my hard drive crashed, so I have been trying and trying and trying to upload it to my second computer. A pop-up keeps telling me to download the Adobe Installer but the Adobe website says that version of Installer has been discontinued. What new Installer do I download to upload CS6 from the disk?

I have Windows 8.1 and have the Adobe CS6 Master Collection on a disk. I uploaded it to a computer some time ago but the hard drive crashed, so I am trying to upload it to a second computer. I have tried both the disk and downloaded the free trial but both times I try to start it up I get a pop-up that says "Installer failed to Initialize. This could be due to a missing file. Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem." When I click on the provided link I am taken to the following page that leads nowhere: http://www.adobe.com/support/loganalyzer/
Honestly? How do I fix this??

  • I've downloaded the free trial of Illustrator but the program won't open

Illustrator won't open on my computer.
I've downloaded the free trial of Illustrator, when I go to open the program the Illustrator logo appears on my start menu for a second and then disappears again and nothing happens - no error message comes up.
    I am using Windows 7.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program, restarting my computer, signing in and out of my adobe account and changing the compatibility mode, nothing has worked so far.
    Please help!

reset your preferences by holding down shift-ctrl-alt while starting ai.  you'll see a confirmation dialog if done correctly.
if that fails, uninstall, clean and reinstall per, Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6

  • I thought I downloaded the free software, but cannot figure out how to start.

How do I start the program?  I received a PDF that I need to modify and thought I'd downloaded the free trial, but can't figure out how to open it.  When I try to open the PDF I got, the computer says I have to register a copy of Adobe first.

    Adobe trial software expired early
And PDFs are not realyl meant for editing, so whatever you have in mind probably won't be doable, anyway. Well, at least not by just hacking it with Acrobat.
