Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

I have Adobe Standard. I'd like a free trial of Adobe Pro because moving pages around in a 400 page document in Standard seems to be a nightmare. It says Pro downloaded but it won't install because it says I already have a superior product.

I think the point is that you have a registered product and that is being interpreted as superior. Anyway, you may have to uninstall (after deactivating) Std to look at Pro. Don't do this if you do not have a backup of the Std install file and S/N that you should have saved to a backup CD and/or backup HD.

I have just had a good chat with an Adobe live chat person. He has explained to me why I am getting the U44M1P7 error.
I have a perpetual version of CS6 that I bought earlier in the year. The creative cloud update only applies to versions of CS6 that have been downloaded via creative cloud. The error means I am trying to update a version of CS6 (my perpetual copy) that has aleady been updated.
I have version 13.0.4 and the update is 13.1.2. If I want the update I have to uninstall CS6 from my computer (my perpetual version) and download CS6 from creative cloud. Then I will be able to have the updates.

if in Mac iTunes: check the following Finder location: Startupdisk->Homefolder (yourname)->Library->iTunes->iPadSoftwareUpdates : the downloaded file should be there and be complete the extension should be .ipsw, if it is not there or not complete you should download again.
if in the iPhone: notice that the install phase and verifying phase and restarting phase need (good) internet connection.

I've had all kinds of trouble keeping my iTunes software current over the past year, but have found the easiest way to remedy the issue is to simply download the latest version of iTunes as though I am a first-time user and then just install it into the directory my current version of iTunes is using. Doing this has allowed me to update my software without losing any of my media/data. Hope this helps! Best of luck!!!

My late 2011 MacbookPro downloads software updates but when I try to install them, it tells me that it's not supported? The software is currently OS X Lion 10.7.5 and I tried upgrading a few things but it won't install. Downloaded the installer, but it won't install

Okay, after many (MANY) tries I finally managed to download the itunes program. I have dial up, and I was continuously disconnected while downloading, so I ended up taking my handy-dandy memory stick to a friend's and downloaded the entire 35.1 MB files in 20 minutes. However, once I loaded it onto my own computer at home, I am unable to run the program. I click, nothing happens. I go to Add/Remove programs, try to do it that way, it finds the programming, but then does NOTHING. I've made sure that I am logged on as owner/administrator, tried so many other tricks I can't remember them all, what else can I do?

My Itunes Shows The downloads history...but when I try to play them it states it can not find the file. (same computer for the last 2 years) and no issues. now 1/2 of my library can not be played (as it can not be found)

When I try and re-download some of them from the ITUNES store...I get an error that the file already exists on the computer. However, when I open Itunes. The file can not be found. This problem just started about 1 1/2 ago...prior to that did not have any problems...Help? direction?

You can move the folder to where iTunes expects to find it and that will work.
Or you can attempt to fix one broken track by looking for it when prompted when you use Get Info or attempt to play. This often works if everything is in the standard layout.
Or you can repair things with my FindTracks script.
