I downloaded a book but it is not showing u p in my library

Hi...I just dowloaded a book from itunes but it is not showing up in my library. I already rec'd the confirmation email that I rec'd it but not there. Any ideas? I have tried rebooting. Using Windows 7

If you're using Windows or an OS X earlier than Mavericks, you can click Get Sample in iTunes to download the sample to iBooks on your compatible iOS device where you're signed in to the iTunes Store.

Added albums to iTunes, but they do not show up in the Music Library view.

I imported some albums and the albums do not show up in the Music Library view, however I created a playlist containing all songs added today and they show right up. Is there a fix for this?

They don't show up at all or they don't show up where you expect them to?
The iTunes Library is divided into a number of sources, Music, Podcasts, Books etc. Each file added ends up in just one of these sources depending on its *Media Kind* plus any playlists for which it has matching criteria.
Settings such as *Part of a Compilation, Sort Artist* or *Sort Album Artist* can make albums appear in an unexpected location within Music.

I started downloading a song from iTunes and then stopped it in the middle of the download cause it froze, but when I tried to redownload it, iTunes said the song was already downloaded. But it does not show up in my music library on my phone. Help?

I bought a song on iTunes and it started downloading but then about half way through it seemed to stop downloading so I pressed the square stop button in he middle of the downloading circle so that I could try and restart the download. But when I went back to iTunes, instead of having the cloud and the arrow to let me download the song from the cloud next to it, it said "Play" as if I had already downloaded the song. So I went back to my music library to try and find the song but it's not there and iTunes isn't letting me download it cause it says I already have it. Please help.

Itunes 11 appears to download my CD but it does not show up in my music?

I insert my own CD. itunes goes through the importing process on each track, but when it is done, the new tracks do not show up in Music or Recently added. Where is it? I do not have itunes Match. Any ideas? I import my own CD's like this all the time.

I had the same issue and it seems to me, that the problem is the Apple cloud. The cloud symbol next to my music library wash showing an update after I imported a new CD. And only after this was done (which took a loooong time over my slow DSL line), the CD was visible.
Although I do not use iTunes Match it looks as if Apple is transferring my music library data to the cloud.

HT203164 I have purchased several books on tape via my computer and now want to sync them to my ipod....I can't find the appropriate buttons to do that. Also though I have receipts for books purchased they are not showing up on my Itune purchased list.

iTunes does not garentee to carry a book forever, a serious flaw. If you can't find the book in iTunes anymore and didn't keep it on the computer, or backed up, it may be gone.
To add audio books to the iPod;
you have to check the box at the bottom section of the Books screen that says, "sync audio books"

If you mean iBooks, most can only be viewed on an iOS device (iPhone, iPad, iPod touch) in the iBooks app. Only the public domain Project Gutenberg books can be read on a computer, and for that you will need an application that can open ePub files.
If that's not what you meant, please explain further where you are getting these books and how you are attempting to view them.

Have you tried deleting it from the iBooks app and redownloading it via the Purchased link in the ibookstore in the iBooks app ? Re-downloading.
If you have the same problem after re-downloading it then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that book and use the 'Report a Problem' link.

If you go to your applications folder (Go>Applications) do you have Adobe Reader in there? If you open Adobe Reader and choose File>Open are you able to open a pdf file?

I have this same problem. The album shows available to download from the cloud, but the 3 remaining songs won't download. The songs happen to be the first 3 songs on the album. The purchase & initial download was initiated via 3G; the rest of the songs were downloaded via WiFi. I have over 20GB of storage available on my iPhone, so it's not a capacity issue.
