I downloaded a movie from I tunes on to my desk top. I have my iPad 2 synced with my desk top. How comes don't see the movie on my iPad ?

What happens when you connect your iPad to your computer's iTunes and select the film to sync to the iPad via the Movies tab - does it not copy over to the Videos app on the iPad or does it appear to copy ? Does the space usage on the iPad indicate that it's on the iPad and/or does Settings > General > About > Videos ?

The subscription will renew automatically (unless you have disabled that) and you will get an email approximately one month before renewal.

I tried synching my ipad to see if, when synched, I would see the movie on my computer in itunes. No luck there. What am I doing wrong? If you rented it directly on the Apple TV then you can't transfer it off and you have it watch it on that - from http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1415 :
You can move the rental between devices as many times as you wish during the rental period. However, the movie can only be played on one device at a time. If you rent a movie on an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Apple TV, it is not transferable to any other device and you must watch it on that device.

"Unable to check for downloads" message -- how do I see the movie I rented?

I just rented "The King of Kong" through my AppleTV and it tells me to go to Settings-Downloads-Check for Downloads to view it, but when I do I always get "Unable to check for downloads"! So how exactly do I see the movie I just rented? And of course there is no one live at customer support at this hour. This is not the seamless experience I've always heard people are supposed to have with Apple products!

Same problem on 3rd rental--"Over Her Dead Body." Amazing how many times this title appears on this thread. Coincidence or server issue? I haven't tried renting since this problem. Title appears in iTunes account; checking "purchases" under "Store" shows all purchases downloaded. I searched for some solutions on the internet and applied following fixes:
1- Disconnected iphone from PC and closed itunes.
2- Reset the iphone by holding down the On/Off button.
3- Connected iphone back to PC to sync with itunes.
Apparently this fixed the problem, and iphone synced with itunes.

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
If those don't work - sign out of your account - Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad and then go back to Settings>Store and sign in again.

Did you tap the Videos app icon?
Swipe left of your Home screen then type in the name of the movie.

Thanks for responding. It seems my download speed is too slow and iTunes sensed this so didn't bother downloading. I finally got a friend with a fast connection to download the installer packet, put it on a USB stick, and then I transferred it to my iMac. Also thanks for correcting my hyphens.

I-tv slow when watching movies from i-tunes

How come movies I want to see from i-tunes has to be almost fully downloaded before i can start see the movie. I do not have same problems when i watch netflex..

Netflix will adapt to the connection, iTunes content is at a fixed rate and will need to load a portion before playback begins. The time it takes is dependent on your network.

Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the entry, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.
(Not entirely sure what happens after you click that link, but fingers crossed it should be relatively straightforward.)

Importing movie from I-Tunes to Keynote

I created an I-movie and shared it into I-tunes so I could import it into Keynote for a slide presentation. I can see the movie in I-tunes, but when I go to Keynote media movies, I-tunes, the movie does not show up to import. Any suggestions??
