I downloaded a new album on my iphone 4 and when backed it up on my itunes it cannot be found. I Checked in the store for available downloads, it is there either. Tried to buy it again and it stated it had already been purchased. Please help me find it.

No iTunes content on the iPhone is included with the iPhone's backup.
If you are syncing music and video - you have Sync Music selected under the Music tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes, after purchasing any music direct with your iPhone the music should be copied to your iTunes library automatically the first time you sync your iPhone with iTunes after doing so. Under Store in the iTunes source list, a playlist should be created automatically as well with the name - Purchases On - the name of your iPhone.
Not so if you are manually managing music and video with your iPhone. When manually managing music and video with your iPhone, it is manual all the way in both directions. After purchasing music direct with your iPhone, with your iPhone connected at the iTunes menu bar go to File and select Transfer Purchases From - the name of your iPhone.

Try this:
Open your iBooks app on your iPad
Select the Store Button at the top
Select Purchased at the bottom
You will see your AppleID on the right at the bottom, then Redeem, then Support
Click on your Apple ID, and when the AppleID window comes up with the options, Sign Out
Then Sign In again and try redownloading your book

My time machine will not back up. It says backup failed each time i try to back up. I tried switching it off but still nothing. It says "already in use" Please help!

If a reset doesn't work, try and force iPad into Recovery Mode:
1. Turn off iPad. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, slide to turn off.
2. Connect USB cable to computer
3. Press and hold the Home button down and connect the docking end of cable to iPad
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect To iTune" screen
5. Release the Home button
6. Open iTune (make sure you have the newest version of iTune)
7. You should see "iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode"
8. Use iTune to restore iPad
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your iPad -
Ok so long story short I have a mac, a MacBook Pro and two iPhones in the house, one is mine one is my mums.
I only recently bought the MacBook Pro, I turned iCloud on on it and used my iCloud account to sync with my phone and now it has:
A) deleted all my contacts from my phone and MacBook
B) replaced them with the contacts from my mums phone
C) deleted iCal from the main Mac
The problem is none of these are supposed to be linked, mum and I don't share the same apple id or log in details, so I don't know why/how this is happening.
Also I went I onto the main mac to try and see if it was an iCloud issue and there doesn't seem to be iCloud installed on the system at all, it just gives and option for "mobile me" and then asks me to install it/activate it.
Can anyone give me any clues as to why this night be happening? And how I can get my contacts back and keep the two phones and computers completely separate?
Any help would be much appreciated!

Last Resort, put the iPhone in DFU mode (Google How to do that). Connect in iTunes. Follow on-screen prompts to Restore. All Data would be lost, if not backed up earlier.
To save the photographs you may have to use third party software. Google is your friend. -

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

tried synching iphone for the first time on new PC and got error followed by itunes logo and USB cable picture. No idea what went wrong and now phone is in this screen locked. please help!
I tried connecting to iTunes and neither the PC nor iTunes recognizes the device. I went through all the troubleshooting on the Apple website for this issue and nothing worked. I would hate to have lost all my info, especially contacts and calendar items since I have no idea what was backed up prior to the phone getting locked on this screen. I've been told that my only option is to go to the phone carrier and they will reset it for me, but that means it will wipe out all the info.
I hope someone has a fix other than that one. -

I updated my iPod and it erased everything i had on it. How do i retrieve the songs that i bought from the iTunes store? when i try to download/buy them again they tell me i have already purchased them do i want to buy them again? I have authorized my computer but none of them are in my music now.
You buy one and only one download.
It is your responsibility to move/copy/backup your music.
Certainly you did not update your ipod without making sure that you had transferred anything purchased on the ipod to your computer and included it in your regular backup copy of your computer. -

You can't have content in iCloud without having it on your phone, you will need to look at deleting items from your device that you don't need. Movies and TV shows from iTunes are possibly a good start because they tend to be large and can be redownloaded at a later date.

Reset, hold both home and power buttons until the iPhone begins to restart. If still nothing, connect to Wall Charger for 10 minutes, iPhone may turn ON itself. If still nothing keep on charger and Reset. It can take about 20 seconds of holding both buttons while on charger.

Assuming you are in a region where you are allowed to redownload your past purchases, delete the current copies from your iTunes library and then download again using the Purchased link in the right-hand column of the iTunes Store home page, or transfer them from the iPhone again.

When we go to view albums from our iphoto library on apple tv it takes forever to load and then it only plays between 24 and 35 photos then goes back to the start. Then it goes through again and displays 1 more photo each time. Please help!
It's likely that your Library database has been damaged in all the crashing.
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.
