It should be in the Movies part of your library - if you select Movies, then is there a Rentals tab on it with that film in it ?

You say you have 10.5.6 (Leopard) but your signature says you have 10.6.6 (Snow Leopard) - which is it?
If it's Snow Leopard all you have to do is apply the combo updater:

If it's Leopard it depends on what sort of processor you have. It it's PPC you cannot proceed. If it's Intel you may be able to upgrade to Snow Leopard (which is available in the Online Apple Store) provided you have enough RAM: check the requirements against your Mac.

Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

I tried to download a new version that Itunes was suggesting to, and this new Ituned sincronized my Iphone directly. Now I can't swith on my phone and a message stating that my SIM card is not compatible is appearing. How should I do to use my phone again?

OK, I have fixed it here. Here's what I did:
quit iTunes
trashed ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iTunes.plist
started iTunes, and authorised my account
Worked straight away after that !

I've been working on this all day!!! I've tried everything I know of and can't get it to load either. Sounds like lots of people are having problems. Here is what I have so far...I have uninstalled EVERYTHING on my pc from apple and reinstalled itunes to no avail. I have tried all sorts of things I've read as fixes online. NOTHING has worked. Can't get any help from apple. their suppot *****! I want to get someone on the **** phone or a live chat but cant. *** APPLE????? please let mw know if you find SOMETHING i can try next. Many thanks for your post. I've been trying for days to get this sorted and was getting well fed up with I-Tunes. Really thought i'd never get it working again. Tried un-installing it, loading older versions and they still wouldn't work.

Ummm I'm not really sure to be honest here,But let me give you some backround of what happened. Basically my sister took my iPod touch (3rd generation I believe it is) and restored and updated the condition of it and made it up to date. When I tried to plug it in my PowerBook the iTunes thing came up and it said "the iPod cannot be used because it requires iTunes version 10.6.3 or later" and yeah that's all I got for you.

My problem, in part, is that I have 2 iphones. I transferred one to another computer that now syncs with iCloud. The other phone I was updating today on my old computer.
