I downloaded a rental movie (SD) onto my iPad2 and tried to play on my TV via VGA adaptor; it says not authorised. I have done this many times before. This is the dirst time I have had this not authorised message. Has anyone any ideas what what can I do? Many thanks in anticipation.
Delete the file and re-download again.

Yes, to be honest I was a little surprised myself. But it absolutely didn't connect when plugged into the test socket (I even tried to force a connection from the Home Hub manager but it wasn't having it). It is definitely the master socket. The only extension is a small piece of (engineer installed) phone cable to link the hub and the master socket (because the socket and mains power are unhelpfully on opposite walls of the hallway).
I ran the Java download for Google anyway and it only took about an hour. The speedtester results are as follows:
Download speed achieved during the test was - 109 Kbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 50-250 Kbps.

Your DSL Connection Rate :2560 Kbps(DOWN-STREAM), 448 Kbps(UP-STREAM)

I don't as a rule disconnect / reboot the hub; today it has been dropping off on its own, while several days ago I tried a few reboots just to try and get a connection.
Additional info - my exchange is actually called Claypole Fenton (or vice versa). Whatever, my profile has probably been welded to 135k for days and days.

just downloaded a rental movie and can't locate it anywhere in itunes downloads never use to be this hard not reallu worth it but would still like to watch my movie.My account info says all purchases have been downloaded.. hmmm wbere is my movie?
This is bad - I have an Apple automated response that they got my report on 12/6, 12/10 and 12/14, and I haven't heard anything from them since the 6th when I got one reply that told me to do things I tried before reporting the problem. Between the 6th and 10th I replied to their response 4 times and they ignored me, forcing me to report a problem with two more items that wont download but getting no response.
How do they get away with this kind of behavior, especially for someone with FIVE Core 2 Duo macs and thousands of dollars of of iTunes store purchases? I'm getting really ******. -

I have an iphone 4 and downloaded my first movie (hd) onto my PC (windows 7) I have not been able to figure out how to transfer the move to my iphone. The movie is in a new tab called "rented" not under the "movie" tab. All of the support I have read talks about the movie being in the "movies" tab. I cannot use the "move" function or the "transfer" function because they are not available. Is this an issue because I just updated to the newest software?
In order to download to your phone over the air, you need to be connected to WiFi.
It's possible the Internet connection through Verizon is not stable enough for the downlaod to begin (it is a very large download).
You might want to head over to Starbucks with your laptop for the afternoon and see if you can download it over their WiFi. -
I downloaded a rental movie, and now it won't play. I get an error message that says "We could not complete your iTunes store request. An unknown error occured. (-42110)" This computer is authorized, and I am online and I've downloaded rentals before. Help?!?

Click on the Video App, but first make sure it transferred to your iPad by connecting to iTunes and clicking on your iPad in the left widow and then click the movie tab and make sure Sync Movies has a check in the box.
