I downloaded a trial version, wich is the activation code?

I was trying to install a trial version, but I cant access because a have to enter these digits.

I don't know which operating system you are working on so i am giving you some steps windows and MAC OS:
   Windows:
   In windows 7 navigate to following location:
     /windows/system32/drivers/etc
   1. look out for "Hosts" file
   2. Open it with notepad
   3. Check if you have any entry for Adobe
   4. Remove the entries and try again launching any product from CC
   On Windows XP navigate to following location:
   \windows\system32\drivers\etc
   1. look out for "Hosts" file
   2. Open it with notepad
   3. Check if you have any entry for Adobe
   4. Remove the entries and try again launching any product from CC
   Mac:
   1. Please click on "Go" and navigate to /private/etc
   2. Open "hosts" file and check out for any entries for Adobe.com
   3. Remove the entries and save the file
   4. try again launching any product from CC

Can anyone help with this - there seems to be no way of doing this. I just got the activiation code sent thru for the full version, mainly to save having to do mail order/go to shop, but how do you update the trial?? It is not clear to me what my options are for either upgrading to Pro, or selectively purchasing the "compare documents" plugin (if possible). I am using what is presumably an Enterprise version of acrobat (i.e. my employer owns it, not me) - so not sure what limitations that results in. I think this is a simple question, but would be grateful for advice.

- You can't install Acrobat Pro alongside Acrobat Standard. You will need to remove Standard to be able to install Pro.
- You (probably) can't upgrade your license if it's a part of an enterprise license. The entire license will need to be upgraded.
- It's not possible to install just the "Compare Documents" function as a sort of add-on to Acrobat Standard.

There is no serial number and you don't need one. What you need for a subscription is to SIGN IN within Acrobat, so it knows the subscriptions you own.

Unfortunately, what you describe isn't a common problem. It is pretty surprising, but hopefully it's a simple as clicking or pressing the wrong thing. So, to find this out we need to know, step by step, at the most basic level, what you click or type EXACTLY and what you see. That should let us get to the cause.

If it is the first CS version then you will need to check out the following. I believe it applies to CS as well even though it specifies CS2....

Plug-Ins are not Presets. You need to install Plug-in into CC just like you had to install Plug-ins into CS6.

(This icon) in the upper right corner.
If you don't know the exact file name, you may have to redownload it so you can see it.
I would also try doing a reboot after you change your desktop background to what you want.

If you are having problems with extracting it is likely that you have customized the location of your download. I would recommend downloading to your User folder or Desktop folder. When the download and extraction process are complete you can then install to your Program Files folder.
