I downloaded adobe reader XI Free trial for 30 days and want to try Convert to DOC function but fail, please help!

When I click the button Subscribe now, it return: "Sorry, this Adobe product is currently not available for sale in your country."
That means I cannot Convert to DOC function??

Adobe Reader is free; there is no trial.
Regarding the ExportPDF service; see https://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-2596
If ExportPDF is not available in your country, you will need to use Acrobat to convert; there is a 30-day trial available for Acrobat.
If you do have the Acrobat trial install, make sure you open the PDF to convert in Acrobat, not Adobe Reader.

  • I'm checking my plug-ins & I have an outdated Adobe Reader PDF Plug-In For Firefox and Netscape vers 10.1.13.16. Updating doesn't help, just says up to date.

Unfortunately, Adobe doesn't support the current Reader XI on Windows Vista.
If the Help > Check for Updates inside Adobe Reader X says you are good, you'll have to trust Adobe on that. The Mozilla plugin checker isn't designed to have multiple current versions for different flavors of Windows (at least, the last time I checked it wasn't).

You do. Your system is either Windows or Mac (or maybe a couple of other less popular choices) and a version of one or the other.
When you set up your machine, you were asked for an administrator user name and password. You need both of these to install software.

We can't know. You have not provided any system information or other technical details. If the setup doesn't even start, most likely your system doesn't meet the requirements.

  • Adobe Reader ExportPDF free trial

My Adobe Reader offered me the opportunity to use a free trial for ExportPDF. After signing up and going through the steps, nothing happened. However my free trial was removed from the program. What's the deal?

    HI Mspan1,
Initially we were providing the trial for ExportPDF however this service was stopped. Still few users would get the message of free trial and Adobe is aware about it. we apologize for the miscommunication.
There is no trial of the ExportPDF service.  If you subscribe to the service and it doesn't meet your needs, you may request a full refund within 30 days of purchase by following the steps outlined here: http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/return-cancel-or-cha nge-order.html

  • I have a Mac OS 10.7.5 and downloaded Adobe Reader, accepted the end user license, and the screen is

is black when trying to open a document.   A pop up occurs and states to accept the end user agreement, which I did.

Download and install AppZapper (it's a free trial)
Launch AppZapper and drag the Reader app from yoru applications folder to the AppZapper window.
"Zap" it to the trash with all files in the window.
    Go to: Mac HD/Library/Internet Plugins
Trash the AdovePDFViewer.plugin file and the AdobePDFViewerNPAPI.plugin file.
    Go to: Mac HD/Library/Application Support/Adobe
Trash the Reader folder (the whole thing)
    Empty the trash
Download the offline installer and reinstall Reader
Double click the app in your Applications folder and accept the agreement.
    Reader should work after that.

I can't open PDF files, can't open, update, or download Adobe Reader. (I had it until recently.) None of the "helps" seem to help. I can't even open Adobe Reader now.

Ignore the instructions about "edit options", to install Adobe Reader download the installer from http://get.adobe.com/reader/ and run the installer. Alternatively, a direct link for the latest version of Adobe Reader is:

I coach youth soccer and use a PDF template to save my sessions in.  Today I got this message when trying to open one of my sessions.
Adobe Reader could not open 'NSCAAInteractiveSessionPlan.pdf' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded).

  • Adobe Reader 11.0.01 keeps crashing and can't print documents.  Using OSX 10.8.2  Help!

Can you help me use Adobe Reader without it crashing?
Can you help me print a pdf documany?
Using Adobe Version 11.0.01 on OSX 10.8.2
    Thank You!

I am using Adobe Reader 11.0.01 with latest Safari without any issues. Plug-in works fine. This isn't true of Firefox 18.0.01 though.
When you run Reader for the first time, it writes two plug-ins into /Library/Internet Plug-Ins. These files are for PDF browsing in Safari and Firefox. They override the default Safari Quartz plug-in that is standard in OS X and provides default PDF viewing. You can remove the Adobe PDF plug-ins and Safari will just default as expected. The next time you run Adobe Reader, it will notice that those PDF plug-ins need replaced, and it starts all over again.
In Finder preferences, in the sidebar category, and under DEVICES, the top selectable item is your computer name. Select it and exit preferences. Launch a new Finder window. In the left panel and near the bottom, will be the DEVICES category. Click on your computer name. The silver disk drive icon will be your hard drive name, probably Macintosh HD. Double-click it. Now, double-click Library, and then again, Internet Plug-Ins.
The two files you want to drag to your Desktop (or the Trash) follow: You will need admin login to do this.
    AdobePDFViewer.plugin
    AdobePDFViewerNPAPI.plugin
Safari will now resort to default PDF viewing. If you double-click a PDF file on your disk, and Adobe Reader is the default open application, you will have undone the above.
The steps that I shared previously for changing the default PDF application were to be done in the Finder, on a PDF file already in your computer file system, and not within your browser.
