I downloaded Aperture 3 for a 30 day trial and they request a serial number. None provided

Downloaded 30 day trial but no serial number was supplied, and it is required to complete download to applications.

The serial number is emailed to you usually before the download is completed. Make sure the email didn't wind up being eaten by your spam filter.
Over the past few months there have been numerous reported delays in getting the serial number. The only recourse seems to be to try again and hope for the best.

I am trying to download Mountain Lion for almost 3 days now and the download gets stuck at 53.25mb. Apple support staff is giving me same block answer that it's because of heavy traffic and I don't buy that. Does anyone know how I can download it ?

I have been trying to download my copy of Mountain Lion for last 3 days and the download is stuck at 53.25mb. I tried all of the restart/ Cookies deletion that apple support staff recommended to no avail. Download starts from begining and once it's 53.25mb downloaded, the remaining time goes upto and beyond 650 days and counting.
Is there any guru, who can help me download Mountain Lion this year? Preferably in a days time !

Doesn't strike me as a "high traffic" issue, if you pause the download can you open the /Applications/ folder on your Mac and see if the installer already present? If you can stop the download and delete the installer (because it is not finished), the try again?
If you've already done the above have you tried using Disk Utility First Aid from your Recovery HD?
Try to verify/repair the disk and see if that takes care of it. (Of course make sure you have a good, recent backup before trying this.)
If you're still having issues: re-install OS X from the Recovery HD, install all available software updates, try again.

I can't seem to download InDesign CC for a 30-day trial

I have signed in to Creative Cloud, but cannot seem to download the free 30-day trial for InDesign CC. Any advice?

Dgloin do you receive any particular error message when you attempt to download and install InDesign CC? Are you using the Creative Cloud application to download and install the software?

I purchased it from my University bookstore and the attending clerk was no better informed than was I.
The form is required to be infilled in order to receive the serial number necessary for installation of the software
After five hours of trying, I was able to overcome the flaw in the form, as it appeared on the Acrobat website, and
complete the two pull-down menus indicating the State in which I live.
I called Adobe Customer Care for assistance and had to wait two hours for a return call, and by the time the
call came though I had found that the website form allowed me to pull-down for the State of location.
Adobe is an uncaring vendor, once it has your money in hand.

I am getting an unknown error (-23). Stating there's a problem in downloading the software for the ipad. Kindly help. My ipad serial number is DM*******18C.

Do I need a receipt for proof of purchase or can they check the serial number (1 year warranty not AppleCare)

It's on the 1 year warranty I do not have Apple Care.

However, now when Lightroom opens, it is asking whether I want to BUY or have a free 30 day trial and won't progress any further into the app.

If you haven't previously downloaded the 30-day trial, then it's possible that the trial has ended prematurely (which can happen for various reasons). Please see this thread: Adobe XI Acrobat trial states that it is expired

When you purchased Lightroom you should have received an e-mail with your serial number. Better go back and check your e-mails that you received from Adobe. I think one of them should be a receipt, and should have the serial number printed on it.
