I  downloaded creative cloud installer , but it doesn't work on my MacBook Air?

I can't instal creative cloud installer?
when I go to download trial give this message: Error (Adobe Application Manager) while I downloaded this one on my Mac

    Dave: I did the Microsoft Update two days before this happened, and rebooted as required.  I just created a new restore point and lauched Creative Cloud.  Now I get the famous white screen:
    It just sits and spins (been 10 minutes now). 
    Fortunately, I saved away this command (which I've had to use 4 or 5 times already):
    del %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE\opm.db
    Unfortunately now, I get this (even after closing the above window):
    The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.
    So I killed everything that said "Adobe" in the task manager and this time, the command succeeded.
    Fortunately, the current apps seem to still work.  I can't seem to find the "Creative Cloud" app in the applications on my system, but I launched Photoshop CC, told it to look for updates, and got a list of the 5 prgorams that need updates in the Adobe Application manager:
    I will proceed with the updates, holding my breath.

    You can also find information on how to review your download logs which may provide additional information regarding the failure of the download.

    I'm downloading Creative Cloud installer. The new window that opens, "Creative Cloud" has had that downloading circle for a hour or so. What gives?

    It's the box that asks for my password to install, it won't except.  I even
    went back and changed my password for I cloud and it still won't except.
    Maybe after some time it will work. I will try again tomorrow.  Thank you

    Hi Norman,
    The Error 214 and 81 means the manifest for downloaded files is incorrect.
    For information on how to resolve download errors please see Error downloading Creative Cloud applications - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/error-downloading-cc-apps.html.  I believe it is likely your security software or firewall are interfering with the download process this is why you are receiving the current error.

    Transferring applications between machines will not work.  You need to install using installations files.  Uninstall and Try using the CS Cleaner Tool before installing.

    Why is it that when I am trying to download the Creative Cloud installer or for that matter the Adobe Application manager on my home personal computer I am told that this requires Administration priviledge?
    Where do I get this adminstration priviledge to continue the downloading of the software?

    Background - Installing under Windows 7 from Photo subscription
    Problem - failure some way into the download process with the message that the next stage requires administrative privileges
    What's it got to do with Adobe?
    This has a lot to do with Adobe. Standard MS security practice is use a user account with minimum privileges for all normal purposes - such as running e-mail. In addition, the "Administrator" account login is disabled by default and the expectation is that the machine will be managed by a different account with user privileges. The Adobe acceptance e-mail will normally be loaded into the user account where the e-mail client (e.g Outlook) is accessed. Following the instructions on this e-mail will lead to the install being attempted into the user account with minimum privileges. Every other recent application I come across will request a password of an admin account to proceed with the install in these cases. Adobe's install just dies with its unhelpful message.
    It's actually worse than this, since Adobe require that the download takes place into the administrator account - as you need to enable login first. (Run as Adminstrator does not seem to be an option with the download process, as the executable file is not obviously available to run)
    When you are on a relatively slow connection (as I am.. 2.3mb dowload) the need to work through this is a bit tedious. Things now seem to be working, but its the third iteration.
    Solution
    1. Follow the instruction on the acceptance e-mail and click Get Started to get the web screen up in the user account. Copy the web address this generates from the top left of the browser (highlight and press <Ctrl>+C). Paste this into a text file - save to a stick or an area of shared storage. Exit the browser and account.
    2. Enable the built in Administrator account from your management account (see How to enable and disable the Windows Administrator account for example. Make sure you give the account a suitably complicated password but don't rename it. (you'll disable the login anyway when you've finished)
    3. Exit the management account and log in to the built-in Administrator account, which will now be available. Go to www.adobe.com  change your region if necessary, (bottom left hand of screen) and log in, ticking the keep logged on box. Open a new browser tab and copy in the saved web address from the acceptance e-mail. Things should now work (well they seem to be working for me, anyway.., though I am not sure how Adobe will handle things if the program download fails because of comms problems (1.5 hrs for 38% of photoshop)
    4. Remember to disable login to the built in Admin a/c when you finish.
    A better solution
    Adobe to take account of the above when putting its load routines together.. at the very, very least provide some warning and instruction on the acceptance e-mail.

    My machine crashed at the first attempt to download, now the Adobe installer is stuck at 10% when trying to download Creative Cloud desktop. do I need to purge some files to get it going? iMac 10.6.8 Internet service is fine. Thanks.

    Thomh57685518 I would strongly encourage you to run Mac OS 10.7 or later if possible.  You can find the system requirements for the Creative Cloud applications at System requirements | Creative Cloud.

    Hi, If you are not seeing Premiere Pro app listed for download, it is most likely because of your machine being 32 bit.
    Apps will not be listed if your machine does not satisfy the requirements.  Check your machine's specs against the Premiere Pro system Requirements.

  • Wifi password doesn't work on my Macbook Air

    My WiFi Password works on other Macs I own, my Android, and my iPad. However, it will not work on my Macbook Air. It senses the WiFi, but it continues to say the password is incorrect. I know that the type is WEP and that is what I have selected. Any idea of what the problem could be?

    I had this problem but managed to fix it tonight. The problem is half with my Macbook Air and half with my router (I use a BT Home Hub 5).
    My router is dual band and was configured to combine the 2.4ghz and 5ghz networks into one. All my other devices (including two iPhones, apple tv and iMac!) were fine but Macbook Air kept rejecting password even though it was correct.
    I went into router settings and then advanced settings. I unticked the option to combine the networks and renamed the 5ghz network to something else.
    This instantly fixed the issue.
