I downloaded Firefox 3.6, but now someone (my daughter?) has "redone" it, and I now have Firefox 4, which I don't want, so how do I get rid of 4.0 and get back 3.6?

I downloaded Firefox 3.6, but somehow I now have version 4.0, and need 3.6 for what I'm doing on my computer. So I need to redownload 3.6 and delete 4.0.

Well I would recommend you do have an off internal hard drive backup of all your files before wiping any duplicates off the internal. Once you are certain you have an off internal hard drive backup of all essential files, then use Disk Utility to erase the other partitions.

I record multiple tracks (3-5) from real instruments and vocals. I want to send these files to a collaborator to add more tracks to, but Garageband wants to mix these down (which I don't want). How can I send the multiple tracks files to my friend?

I have not found a way to do this without the process mixing down the tracks. I don't want them mixed down like when I send them to Itunes. Also I can't seem to just attach a file directly to an email for sending purposes. I thought I saw a method to do this with software instruments, but how do you do it with real instruments? I've tried every process on the "export" list to try to accomplish this, without success. Thanks for any breakthrough advice on this!

As isteveus said - for large projects uploading to a server would be best.

But for completeness's sake , you cou can mail a project, if you ctrl-click the project and use "Compress xxx.band". This will compress the project and create a zip file, that you can mail (if it is not too large). But ask your friend for the maximal file size allowed as a mail attachment.
But whichever method you use to share your project, be sure you include all loops and instruments, if your friend does not have the same JamPacks installed. You can bundle the loops into the project by saving it as an archive. "File > Save as" and check the "Archive Project" option.
If this option should be disabled, you can force it to become active by editing your project slightly. It is only available, if the project needs saving.

ymcneil - thanks for the work around. But isn't it amazing Apple forces us to do this to maintain our privacy.
I live in Australia where there are good privacy laws protecting citizens. I do not want to be forced to use iCloud when the data sits in the USA with weaker privacy laws and also able to be seen by the US Government under the Patriot Act. Further I suspect Apple will interrogate my contacts and calendar for commercial purposes and I do not want that either.
I chose to synch my calendar and contacts with my iphone and ipad. I have relied for years on carrying around my phone with my diary on it. I can no longer do that.
Whoever made this decision at Apple has to be someone who knows little about the world. I can actually see EU regulators getting very annoyed by this.
I too woud like the itunes mac to iphone/ipad local backup given back.

Firefox always opens with two tabs, one the tab I want, plus an additional tab NEW TAB which I don't want. How can I stop the additional NEW TAB?

I open Firefox in new windows for sites I want to go to. I don't open in Tabs. Each time I open an new firefox window and when I restore the windows I had open, each site has an additional tab (2-tabs). The first tab is the site I want up the second tab is NEW TAB. I have to go through 10 to 14 Firefox windowe to close each 2nd and additional NEW TAB to individually close the NEW TABS. I had this before updating to the current Firefox and thought upgrading would solve this issue, but it didn't.

I started in safe Mode. I have the default theme. Starting in safe mode still gave me the same problem. I went back to the normal Firefox and still had the same problem. Yesterday I restarted my computer for 11 Windows updates. I am not going to spend all day starting and restarting my computer and removing my History and whatever else. Firefox should have a direct contact to it's users, to assist them instead of having their users work for them as forum responders and trouble shooters. This has already taken up way too much of my time.
I will say in normal Firefox the additional NEW TAB had no URL in it, but it did have the 12 icons on the page. In Safe Mode it had a URL that began with Chrome and it had a blank page, it didn't have the 12 icons as in normal mode. I don't have anything Chrome on my computer.

In ME21N, why is it allowing me to input PBXX when Info record is maintained and value is populated in PB00. Also the total is PB00+PBXX, but only one (PB00 or PBXX) of them is to be considered even if I enter PBXX value also in ME21N.

Put the access sequence in the PBXX condition type.
hence in case if acess is not maitained system not going to show u the PBXX any more,

When reacharging my iPad, halfway through a window open saying: Cannot back up to iCloud without a veryfied email address..Have got one. But the problem is I cannot get rid of this screen and therefore cannot use the iPad. What shall I do?

i tried tinyumbrella (and another similar software) to exit recovery but it only remains on the apple logo stuck there. please is there anything else i can do? i've contacted apple and they have told me the only choice i have is to restore and lose all my data.

First I would try to hold down the power and the home button for about 15sec, but at least as long as the iPhone restarts, if it is still stuck or still in recovery mode then I can suggest you the tool "Wondershare Dr. Fone for iOS", it is both a Windows and Mac tool and I just used it today to get my iPad out of the Recovery mode.
Tell me if any of these options worked for you.

You have 2 solutions:
1 - You can use 2 differents icloud account
2 - You use the same account but you don't sync yours contacts.
You configure that in Settings > icloud
You activate or desactivate what you want.

Although FireWire and USB connections will allow multiple iPod devices to be connected to the computer at the same time, iTunes for Windows works best with only one iPod connected at a time. If you plan to connect multiple iPod devices to the same computer, eject any iPod devices that you are not using from iTunes.

If you used Boot Camp to install Windows you may use Boot Camp to remove it and return your drive to as it was.

In the printer driver (accessed through the Page Setup button) set the Advanced tab to borderless. Then in the right hand panel under Layout set all the margins to zero.
