I downloaded Firefox 4 successfully, but it did not incorporate all my info from previous version (history, bookmarks, tabs, etc.). How do I combine the two?

Current download of Firefox 4 successful, but it did not include info from the previous version such as bookmarks, history, tabs and the like.

I am currently using version 3.6.3 because it has all the information that I need to use the internet. version 4.0 did NOT incorporate all history and so forth (including tabs, bookmarks) when I downloaded it, as previous downloads had. I will continue to use the older version until someone can help me figure out how to merge the information from the older version with the newer one. The posted answer was greek to me and did not help.

I just got a new laptop and i downloaded itunes but it did not put all my songs on it.

my last laptop i just had. crashed so my parents just bought me a brand new one. i went and downloaded everything like i did before and pluged up my i pod, but only this time it did not download everything on there. only the ones i've purchased through i tunes. Also i had two emails pop up and i've never even seen them. what do i do? i bought movies and stuff too and they were on the itunes that crashed. ???

Copy the entire /Music/iTunes/ folder form your old computer to /Music/ on your new computer.
FYI: It's a laptop because it sets on top of your lap.
Labtop is a roof over a science room.

I created the package and package works outside of sccm. Here is the execmgr.log info which says the program installs successfully but the progam is not on the machine. It is in the cache but does not seem to install... what's happening?

I have just downloaded Firefox 4.01 but it is not displaying correctly.

I tried to upgrade Firefox from 3.6.7 to Firefox 4.01 but when the update is complete, the browser is not displaying correctly e.g. there is no address bar. Here is a screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/zBujK.jpg.
I downgraded to 3.6.17 and then installed Firefox 4.01 again but this does not solve the problem, nor does exiting the browser and entering it again, or restarting the computer.

Backed up iPhone BUT iTunes did not copy all my apps!

My gosh, iTunes must be one of the most frustrating tools in the world.
From the screen area that states: Manually Back Up and Restore, I select Back Up Now.... this process oddly only needs about 1 minute to backup my iPhone (with about 160 apps on it).
When I look at the app list, there are still many apps missing, such as:
Any.Do (great to-do list app)
All my Synology Apps (for my SAN device)
etc.
BTW, why the heck isn't there an option to see the apps in folders - simulate the placement and folders of the iPhone?
Underneath this back up option is a Sync option... I tried this and it did something but I am unsearch what! All I know is that it did not help!
Never mind all that above... seriously, all I want to do is duplicate all my contents from my iPhone 4 to my new iPhone 5. This should not be rocket science!
I think it should be an major embarrassment that something I can do between two Samsung Android phones is so friggen complicated between to iPhones! Yes, I have complained to Apple (this is my second iPhone trade-up) and never heard back from them the first time. That first time, I just ended up starting over! Grrr...

Sorry this solution is late but I just got off of the phone with Apple support and this worked.
Open iTunes
Connect your iPhone and keep it connected during this entire process.
In the iTunes menu at the very top (File, Edit, View) choose STORE> Sign in and sign into your iTunes account.
Once this is complete look at the upper right corner of iTunes and you will see an iPhone and Store button, cick STORE. Now you will be in the iTunes store where you see the advertisements of the various albums, songs etc. Look on your upper left of the window for your itunes account name and in the black band next to your iTunes account name, you will see a House icon, then Music, Movies, TV Shows etc.
Make sure the HOUSE icon is selected.
Stay on this screen in iTunes and on the lower RIGHT, you will see an area that says- QUICK LINKS. In that area click - Purchased
After you do this you will be transported to another area of iTunes. Here there will be a menu across the top- Music, Movies, TV Shows, Apps, Books are the choices.
Choose APPS and you will see the apps that you have purchased. You will also see the apps that didn't download to your phone.
Find the apps that didn't download and click the cloud next to their name. Doing this will download the chosen apps to the computer you are on.
Once you have downloaded the apps in question, in the upper right corner click LIBRARY.
Now you should see the button that says iPhone because your phone is still plugged in. Click the iPhone button and then click SYNC on the lower right to sync your iPhone.
The apps you downloaded will now be on your phone.
Sorry for the long instructions but this is what works.

You can usually find the imported IE Favorites in a folder ("From Internet Explorer") at the bottom of the Bookmarks Menu folder (Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks).
If you can't find them in the "From Internet Explorer" folder then try this:
* Export the favorites in IE to an HTML file (bookmarks.html): File > Import and Export
* Import the HTML file in Firefox: Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks > Import & Backup > Import HTML: From File

Did you set up Find My iPhone, before trading it in?
Unfortunately it now poses a security and privacy risk,a s the data has not been erased and restored to its factory settings.
You may have to call them about the issue.

I downloaded Firefox 4 Beta but when I try to give feedback I get a message telling me I have to sign up for the Beta before I can give feedback.

The feedback tab appears to the right of my search bar, but when I click on either the "happy" or "sad" button, I get the message directing me to sign up for 4 Beta. I uninstalled and reinstalled the 4.0 Beta 12, but that didn't fix the problem.

Are you posting from the Firefox 4 beta? Your user agent string (identifies the version of Firefox) is showing Firefox 3.5.5

IBooks says it downloaded to my iPad but it did not

I found the iBooks app in iTunes (v 10.5.3.3 on my PC running Windows XP). I clicked on the download button. An icon showing the iBooks App appeared on my iPad but it said "Waiting...". That's all that happened!! It was stuck on "Waiting." I clicked on that icon but nothing else happened. I deleted the icon from the iPad desktop thinking I could start over. But when I went back to the iTunes store to get iBooks again. it ways "Downloaded." I don't know where to go from here. Please, any suggestions?

Yes, it does show that it was purchased on January 21, even though it was a free download. There's a cloud icon and when I click on that, it says "This item is over 20MB. You must first connect to a wi-fi network or use iTunes on your computer to download it." Then, when I go to iTunes to download it again, the button says it's Downloaded already so I can't click "Download" again.
Other than the main home page where I have all the icons showing what was included with the iPad, I have one more page which has 6 apps that I downloaded. Like I mentioned, that iBooks icon that says "waiting" is no longer visible.
Should I go to a place that has wi-fi and try downloading again through the App Store on the iPad, or should I just call Apple Support and see if they have another solution?

I charge mi ipod, put it away and 48 hours later it's dead. I have installed a new battery but that did not resolve it. I find that if i plug in a cable to it, leaving the other end open, it will hold a charge.

My ipod won't hold a charge, it dies overnight. I replaced the battery. The only thing that helps is inserting any cable in the ipod and leaving the other end open. It will then hold a charge.

I really don't know what else that you can try now other than to restore your iPad. Restoring the iOS software might fix the issue, but there are a couple of things that you should know.
You will lose everything on your iPad because I am under the assumption that you have never backed up or you don't back up often. Otherwise, you wouldn't be worried about losing what you have on the iPad because you could restore from the backup.
To follow up on that, there is no way to backup now if the iPad is unresponsive. You cannot transfer the contents of the device if you can't power it up.
You can download most of your paid content again for free as long as you use the same Apple ID and as long as the content is still available. However, you will lose all of your app data.
