I downloaded firefox and requested my bookmarks transfer. They have not and none of the instructions provided has helped me to retrieve them. I want to go back to my old sysem on IE

I downloaded firefox from IE. I had many bookmarks that I accessed from my Yahoo e-mail toolbar page. They are all missing and I need them, I want to go back to IE and delete firefox but there is no instructions on how to do this.

I am having the same problem with my saved bookmarks on the yahoo toolbar. I don't want to uninstall firefox. They were ok for 2 days then my whole yahoo toolbar disappeared and I had to recreate it.
It is intact on IE though.
Any advice?

I don't remember the answers for my security questions.
Well I've been told to hit a tab to send an email to what is called a 'rescue mail', but I don't think I have a rescue mail for that there's no such tab.
I have an alternate email address entered in my account, though, but I guess it doesn't work as a rescue mail.
I tried to set up a new rescue mail but also can't find such tab.
This is so stupid.. My phone's broken so I can't even arrange a call with Apple until I get to fix it.

M I phone will not let me delete my I cloud account until the correct password has been entered and i have not got it as the new software has wiped it out.

I have gone on to IOS7 and i have an apple ID which is new. The old one was ditched and i can not now make Icloud work on the new apple id.I have phone finder on and will not let me delete the old i cloud account unitl the pasword is put which i dont have anymore. I have tried to put in loads of times the old passwords that i used to use with no effect.

Just continue to use the old AppleID account. You can update it with new email address if you wish.

Downloaded firefox and after all the drivers and all are loaded ..... it still won't open to get on-line..... any reason why

i get this box that says your firefox profile cannot be loaded......it may be missing or inaccessible...... i just uninstalled it and re installed and this is what i get

then find [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profiles.ini_file profiles.ini] fileand rename it (right-click on mouse and select rename) to '''profiles.iniOLD''' , then when you start firefox again, a new default profile folder will be created and only a single profile, the new "default", will be listed in the Profile Manager.
This new "default" profile doesn't contain any of the profile data or settings stored in your old "default" profile folder, which still exists but is no longer accessible from the Profile Manager.
Your existing Firefox user profile data, which includes bookmarks, passwords, cookies, preference settings and added extensions, will no longer appear in the new profile but you [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Transferring_data_to_a_new_profile_-_Firefox can transfer the data from the old profile folder to the new default profile folder].

When I downloaded Firefox and opened it the page is only 1/4 of the size of the screen and in the center only. how do I make it fit the screen???

Some web pages only show as a four inch strip down the middle of my screen. Some information gets cut off from the web page. Increasing the font size does nothing to help.

You may have accidentally set the page zoom by using the keyboard shortcut to zoom out.

Firefox 4 just updated and I no longer have a Home icon in my toolbars ( and none in the customize section ) . Help

* If a missing item is in the toolbar palette then drag it back from the Customize window on the toolbar
* If you do not see an item on a toolbar and in the toolbar palette then click the "Restore Default Set" button to restore the default toolbar set up.

My iphone is frozen on the apple logo. I was downloading the new itunes but then the cable disconnected and now it has an apple logo and the download line. It's been like this for the whole day and none of the buttons work. Help?

A bit of help please?

Try a force restart by holding the power and home button down at the same time. One of two things will PROBABLY happen; 1) It will boot into iOS as normal. 2) You will get an iTunes logo with a USB cable at the bottom. If the second happens you will need to plug it into iTunes to do a restore. If neither of these happen, force restart again. Once the phone powers off, let go of both buttons and push and hold the home button and plug the phone into iTunes. This will force the phone into recovery mode. Proceed with a restore at that point.

My 30GB iPod is frozen and none of the online support info helps!

I took the advice in another topic and instead of trying to reset the iPod by pressing the Menu and Play/Pause button like the AppleCare Protection Plan Quick Reference Guide told me, I pressed the Menu and Center button for 5 seconds. are you backing up files, or doing a Time machine backup, either way, the Time machine will STOP when finished and show "last backup at XXXXXX" meaning its done...... OR if when transferring files, it will show a progress bar on your desktop and vanish when files are copied.
Open up the Hitachi drive (your G drive is made by Hitachi, and the best made by the way).....and see if the files are there.
a MORE VISUAL way is to open the hard drive file, and drag and drop files INTO the Gdrive and you can see them visually be copied there as you do it.
To see your HD on your desktop GOTO FINDER......PREFERENCES....then GENERAL TAB.........check the box marked HARD DRIVES.........then your Gdrive will appear on your desktop........open it from there, and DRAG and drop files from anywhere INTO the Gdrive....... easy visual way to see the files being copied into the Gdrive.

Now for the intersting bit: TenFourFox, like Firefox, does not support most plug-ins. Unless you are prone to headaches (in which case don't) you can read about that here:

But there is a workaround!
Open TenFourFox and type in the address bar: about:config (no spaces) and click return. This gives you a warning that it might harm the application. Ignore that and click on 'I'll be careful, I promise' and you get the config file that you can edit - with great care.
Look/search (scroll down) for: tenfourfox.plugins.enabled
Set it to true. (Double click it to toggle it)
Now close TenFourFox, open it again, and Flash will now work, as it now uses the plug-ins that Safari has stored.

It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full, unrestricted, access to install for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.
