Just downloaded iBooks on my iPad and its not accepting my security answers how can I change that?
Delete the data for the guest network on the iPhone, iPad, etc.
Log on to the "Guest" network
On the home screen, tap Settings, tap Wireless, tap on the name of your wireless network, tap Forget This Network.
Now log onto the network that you want to use, and the iPhone / iPad will connect to that network automatically in the future. -
I have a wifi connection but "safari cannot open the page because it is not connected to the internet" I have reset everything; I have used Itunes to update and reset. Still no good. It worked until 2 days ago
Reset everything.. did you do this?
Tap Settings / General / Reset / Reset Network Settings
If you're already been there, done that, could be a third party app preventing Safari from accessing the web.
Re sync your apps 5 at a time, then test the iPad. -

I am trying to update my ipad 2 from iOS 4.3.5 to 6.1.3. 6 hours ago it said 49 hours and now says 53. I am making no progress. Please help. I am using wifi connection.
You have to connect the iPad to your computer to update.
If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.1.3. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

iOS: How to update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4623
If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect the iPad to the computer, open iTunes. Then select the iPad under the Devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update.
Tip - If connected to your computer, you may need to disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily. Then download and install the iOS update. Be sure and backup your iPad before the iOS update. After you update an iPad (except iPad 1) to iOS 6.x, the next update can be installed via wifi (i.e., not connected to your computer).
Tip 2 - If you're updating via wifi, place your iPad close to your router to preclude getting a corrupted download.

Keep getting cannot connect to iTunes message, nothing is working, what else to do?
Hi ...
Try this support article > Can't connect to the iTunes Store -
I have good wifi connection, but cant download any app from app store
since i updated to IOS 7.0.3, i cant download any app; i always get the "impossible to download the app" message as if i wouldnt have internet connection.
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Go to Settings.iTunes and App Store and sign out and sign back in
- Power off and then back on the router
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- Try when connect to another network -
Can anyone supply a answer to the above problem?
I have the same problem. Turned sharing on and off in itunes and on the appletv.
Apple - is this an issue - others have been complaining too. I am not impressed with the Appletv 3 so far!!!

Airport says i have a wifi connection, but i certainly dont
So ive had this macbook pro for about 2 weeks, and recently ive been going about my business on the web, when for whatever reason pages just stop loading, by that i mean the loading icon continues to say its loading, but nothing ever happens. My solution for the time being has been to turn off airport, wait a minute, then turn on airport. I would really prefer not to have to spend the rest of my days continually turning on and off airport every time i need to load a new web page. It would be much obliged if anyone have a solution for me.
Some details about your configuration may be useful...
Do you have the same problem (network dropping) if you use a
wired connection?
Where are you in relation to the router when the problem happens?
Are you sure it is a network issue and maybe not a DNS issue?
What DNS servers are you using?
Does it always work after you stop/start airport?
At about the time it started happening had you changed anything?

I have a wifi connection but cannot connect to the internet
I am in France on vacation. My iPhone connects just fine but not my iPad. Wireless shows full strength on both but no Internet on iPad only. Already reset network connections and tried to forget network and try again. No luck.

why is it taking forever to load!?
The files you are loading into the new computer are by wi-fi? If you have no other option
that may be OK but slow. A faster method would be Ethernet cable from internet router
or modem, instead of wireless. Most of the setup process can take some time.
What are these files? Where are they now?
Do you have a backup on-site, & not online?
Did you check to see if the operating system was updated as part of the setup before use?
The Software Update can locate later parts to the as-shipped system, that may be needed.
Other upgrades or new apps are through the Mac App Store, some through App Store, etc.
As part of the setup, you could use a migration assistant if you have a backup from the old
computer or have other files saved in an external hard drive to import.
Hopefully your process won't be drawn out too long...
Good luck & happy computing! -
I downloaded ibooks to my ipad so that I can save PDF files to ibooks but I do not get an "open in ibooks" message to select. When I choose the icon, I only get mail or print option.
Where are these PDFs coming from? What do you mean by "save PDF files to ibooks" and then "I do not get an 'open ibooks' message? If they are saved to ibooks (I assume you used itunes to save a dragged in PDF to the ibooks panel in apps) then you should be able to open and view them in ibooks. If they are not in ibooks (I'm assuming this is the case, since you want to get an "open in ibooks" option from the *share* icon, right?) then where are they on the mini, which app?

I have several manuals in PDF format. How do I download them into my iPad and view them? I downloaded a PDF viewer on my iPad and via itunes I can download the PDF to the iPad although for some reason the iPad comes up as 'RmoteTV' with a sub-directory of 'Books'. The 'PDFReader' app doesn't seem to find the file.
You can use the free iBooks to read PDF files. Download the app, use itunes to transfer the data then open the PDFs.
There are other pdf readers as well. I see good reader recommended and I'm sure there are more. -
I am new to iPad and have downloaded the Nook app. How do I use it to read the Nook books are that in my account from Barnes&Noble?
From http://www.barnesandnoble.com/ebooks/help-faqs.asp#NOOKapp
How do I download my books to my device? I get a message "Safari cannot Download".Launch the NOOK app software to trigger the automatic syncing of your purchases to your device. You can also manually tap the 'gear' button in the lower right-hand corner of the navigation bar and then hit Account Settings. This will open a screen to allow you to enter your login information which includes your account name and password. Press Go and your information will be verified and then the contents of your on-line NOOK Library will be listed for you. Then just browse your book listings and tap on the book you'd like to download to your device. A popup will confirm your request. Press OK and the book will download to your device in the background, and you'll be notified when it has finished downloading. -
I have PDF files in iBooks on my iPad and am not able to sync them to my Mac computer. Please help!
You should be able to copy them over to your Mac's iTunes by connecting the iPad to it and doing File > Devices > Transfer Purchases (that should copy PDFs and epubs that are in iBooks, not just actual ibooks) - does that not work ?
