You need to use iDVD 09 or iDVD 11. These are only available on disk.
IDVD is a wonderful piece of software and well worth the low cost of $40.

Smart folders seems not to work with star rating. Is there a fix?
I Rate photos with a five star rating either on iPhoto or Adobe Bridge CS5. When I create a smart folder setting the search attribute to "Rating equals 5" nothing appears on the search.

I think I misunderstood your question. You were talking about smart folders in the Finder and not about smart albums in iPhoto, right? "Rating equals 5" does not work on any of my machines, neither in Snow leopard nor in Lion. The problem seems to be how to represent the rating in the search string. If I search for "Rating is not 5" the smart folder contains plenty of pictures, also those with a rating of five. Does anyone know how the rating is coded to be used in a search string in the Finder? -

At this time, is Premiere Elements 12 listed in Control Panel/Programs as an installation product?
Where did you purchase this Photoshop Elements 12/Premiere Elements 12 bundle - from Adobe as an online download or from an authorized reseller offering the box packing with installation discs? From your "The download doesn't seemed to have worked", I am assuming that this was an online download from Adobe.
On your computer, you should have started with 4 installation files
Photoshop Elements 12. An .exe file and .7z file specific for Photoshop Elements 12...and file targeted appropriately for 32 or 64 bit computer.
Premiere Elements 12. An .exe file and .7z file specific for Premiere Elements 12...and file targeted appropriately for 32 or 64 bit computer.
You double click the .exe first and afterward as indicated .7z.
Each of these products will have its own serial number.
Do you now have those components. If not, then you need to start again with the download to get those files on your computer in order to start the product installation.

My laptop says fan is not working but seems to be working fine!!

My laptop (HP, pavalion dv6) gives me the 90B error which says that the system has detected a cooling fan is not operating correctly. It says that If I press enter I can continue into the windows but it may cause damage to my laptop. otherwise it automatically turns off after 15 seconds.
The strange thing is that this error doesn't pop up every time i turn on my lapton and I have been using my latptop for months now even when the error shows up and using the fanspeed software my cpu temperature is around 38 celesius when idle. (which seems to be normal)
I had the fan changed yesterday and all the vents cleaned out, still every once in a while the error comes up upon starting.
I also tried the hard reset trick but it didn't help.
So can anyone please help? Shoul I be worried or keep working with my laptop despite the error? Do u have any suggestions on how to fix it?Help us to help you by posting the following information. 1. You should also be able to safely update the BIOS by running an HP Support Assistant tuneup to see if there is an available update. Download the BIOS update via the HP Support Assistant if there is one available and perform the update. Make certain that the power adapter is plugged in when you do this and do not remove power until the flash is complete!

Why my apps are not transferring from PC to iPhone 5? When I connected to PC the icon shows when I select apps it show 'will install' but it never show on iPhone, I re installed iTunes, deleted all apps and downloaded again but its not working pls help.
Next time an app update gets stuck try a reset. Press and hold both the home and power buttons for10-15 seconds till the Apple logo appears. Then release both buttons. Wait till your iPad starts on it's own. Try now. Also YouTube is still available. If you can't find it the the app store go to the bottom of the app store page and tap purchased. All your deleted apps will be listed and you can reinstall YouTube from there.

When enabling iTunes Match on your iOS device, the music library on your iOS device will be deleted and then replaced with your music in iCloud.
Syncing music with iTunes will be disabled while iTunes Match is enabled on your iOS device.

I have an iphone 4S with broken wif i :-( and I need to sync my contacts before I set up my new iphone 6. I thought contacts synced automatically with itunes but seems not. I've found my Apple address book but contacts are outdated. What to do? Help!
If your Bluetooth is working, you may be able to tether your phone to another device, and backup that way. Either via iCloud or one of many Apps that send yourself a VCF file containing your contacts.
You may have to update to a later IOS via USB and iTunes, not sure if IOS 6 has Bluetooth Tethering.
I would have thought you could also switch off cloud sync'ing for your contacts, this should ask a question if you want to keep the contacts on your phone. An iTunes Backup and then Restore to your new iPhone should restore the local contacts. Then sync these back to the iCloud.
