I downloaded IOS5 on my iphone 4 but lost my calendar entries. Is there a way to get them back? I did back up info on my Mac.
Were you syncing calendar events over the air with your iCloud account or syncing calendar events direct with a supported calendar app on your computer via the iTunes sync process?
If your planner is your life, not a good idea to depend on one device for your calendar events. They should be available on your computer as well along with the data included with your computer's backup.

Yes, go to your 'iTunes Store' app on your iPhone or whatever device you lost them on, then go to the 'more' tab, and choose 'purchased', then find your ringtones that you wanted and redownload them, you won't need to repay for them.

Did you remove personal data while uninstalling Firefox ?
If not then your profile folder should still be there.

Pictures taken with the phone are part of the backup. So, if you still have a backup from before that happened, restore from it and all photos taken up to that point in time will be restored, if they were inside the camera roll.

Thanks but have tried that - When I try to restore I get a -50 error and into a loop of taking another back up. I took a copy of the back up before the IOS upgrade and have it stored on my desk top but I cannot get Itunes to restore to that back up

I just tried to sync my calendars on my mac to my Android phone using SyncMate, and all of the calendars on my mac are gone. However, they are stil on my ipod touch, atleast the last several months worth of events are. There was a lot of important information in there. Is there any way to get them back onto my mac? Download the free app My Contacts Backup and use it to back up the contacts on your device now (it will back them up as an attachment to an email that you send to yourself). Then restore your device to your most recent backup to see if it will recover your contacts. If not, if necessary you can open the email and tap the attachment to re-import the contacts you have now back to your device.
If you need to restore to an iCloud backup this has to be done in the initial setup process, which requires you to first erase your device. If you have any more recent data on your device now that is not in the backup that you want to save you'll need to do that first. Then go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Content and Settings. You will then go through the setup screens on your device, and when given the option, choose Restore from iCloud Backup (see image below). Be sure you are connected to wifi and your charger as this will take some time to finish. -

You restored your iPhone with iTunes from the backup for your iPod Touch?
If so, photos/videos that were in your iPhone's Camera Roll should have been imported by your computer before doing this. You could then transfer these photos/videos back to your iPhone via the iTunes sync process.
