I downloaded latest version of Adobe Flash but my plug in's are still blocked
Have an iMac 10.6.8. My plug in's are blocked even though I have downloaded latest version of Adobe Flash. Can someone help.
When you have installed the latest version of Flash, relaunch Safari and test.
If you're getting a "blocked plug-in" error, then in System Preferences… ▹ Flash Player ▹ Advanced
click Check Now. Quit and relaunch your browser, but check this also:

I have gone through the procedure for downloading and installing the latest version of Adobe Flash Player, but still get the same messages when I reopen Firefox and revisit these sites.
There does not seem to be the same problem with Safari, which runs the latest version of Adobe Flash Player with no trouble.

For Firefox on 64 bit Windows, you need the 32 bit Flash version version because Firefox is a 32 bit application.

I tried playing a you tube video, but received a message prompt to download the latest version of Adobe Flash Player. The link to Adobe stated that there are issues with MAC OS X 10.7 and Flash Player 10.3. The new version did not download. Any Suggestion

Thanks for the speedy reply. I have read so many comments about Flash being incompatible with Lion I was wondering whether to download it or not. So many sites on the Web still require flash, however, you almost don't have a choice but to download it even if it is incompatible. I gather a better version of Flash will be available for Lion soon. Again, thanks for the help. I will download the latest version of Flash.

I was a little confused because it was totally different from what the instructions said

so I decided to click the "manual" button and a download page to download a file named "Gp" popped. Seeing that I just clicked cancel then suddenly my computer froze. I tried going to the adobe download page again and it happens all over again. Please Help Me :(No bug, My late 2012 Mini with 10.9.1and Flash Player 12 works fine.

When i try and watch videos on facebook or any other video clips i have, i cant as it brings up a message telling me i need to download the latest message of adobe flash player and adobe, even though i have already got the most upated versions of all adobe programs. The problem i am having is that i cannot access any video clips at all on any web page, i have a message that comes up and says i need to download the latest version of adobe flash player, please click link to download, upon clicking on the link it downloads and installs successfully however i am still unable to view any video clips on any webpage and all it does is bring up the same message over and over again even though i have the most updated version of flash player installed.
