I downloaded Lion, but did not install it.

Shut my computer down. When I go to the app store it tells me Lion is installed, what do I do to install it?

The installer should be in /Applications/ as Install Mac OS X Lion.app. Before running it, make a copy and put it somewhere safe; otherwise, it you ever have to reinstall, you'll need to DL it again, wasting bandwidth, time, and electricity, since this inane installer deletes itself during the installation. The new and improved delivery system isn't.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. If you are unable to install the software update, you may need to plug the iPad Mini into a power source. If it is below a certain percentage in power it will require power to ensure that iPad Mini does not loose power when installing. What model computer do you have? some early trackpads will not support all gestures.
Front Row was dropped by Apple in Lion. I beleive it can be recovered from Snow Leopard, I haven't tried it myself.

in iTunes, access your purchase history via your account in the iTunes store, find the file in question, and click on the report a problem button. report the problem. more info in this support article.

In order to use Find My iPhone (or iPad, etc), your device has to be connected to iCloud with a valid ID/account, the Find my iPhone service has to be turned on (on the device), in Settings>iCloud. It sounds as though you haven't done these tasks - unfortunately, there's no way to track your lost device.
BTW, you don't "download" icloud, you register it on a device by going to Settings>iCloud and then click the ON switch and entering your ID/password (perhaps this is what you meant by downloading iCloud).

From what I understand about your issues is that your iPad will currently not turn on. In attempt to resolve this issue please follow the steps in order below:
Resolution
If a single application is not responding or stops responding when it opens, you can force it to close.
If the device is unresponsive or if certain controls aren't working as expected, restart your device.
If the device remains unresponsive or does not turn on (or power on), reset your device.
If there is no video or if the screen remains black, verify that the device has enough charge to turn on:
If you are using an iPad, ensure that it's connected to the USB Power Adapter supplied with the device.
Let it charge for at least twenty minutes, then see if it starts normally.
If there is no image on the screen, press the Sleep/Wake button to attempt to wake the device.
If the screen displays a red battery icon, continue charging the device until the battery is fully charged. Learn more about charging iPhone and iPod touch, or iPad.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, or the if the screen remains black or shows a persistent Apple logo, try restoring with iTunes:
Connect the device to your computer and open iTunes.
If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane. Learn more about restoring iOS software.
If the device doesn't appear in iTunes, try to force the device into recovery mode, and then restore it.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, contact Apple.

Can someone tell me if there is a way to delete the download? I've looked through Settings where the download is found, but there seems to be no way to delete it.

That did it. Only difference is that you don't need to open Manage Storage. That, for me at least, just takes me to my iCloud storage.
So to revise your suggestion, go to Settings>General>Usage - on a 4S with iOS7 internal storage will open and the downloaded update file will appear in the list. Just tap that entry, and you'll be asked if you want to delete it.

In my install update summary on App Store it shows 10.10.2 downloaded successfully. I restarted my computer, but I'm still on version 10.10.1.

You were wiser than I to ask here. I tried to use the ap store to download the upgrade. It took hours. Multiple times the download failed in the middle. I supposedly got to the end of it three times and although it went through the restart install procedure I was left in 10.10.1 Probably spent 12 hours total on this (no I didn't sit it and watch it, but I've been failing at it for two days, so you get the idea). I will never use the Ap store again if I can help it.
But I found the same solution as was suggested here. Start Chrome and go to the combo update. The whole thing downloads in 15 minutes and installs the first time. Thank you Chrome. Thank you Apple for posting an alternative procedure. Wouldn't it have been real nice if folks at Apple had posted the alternative on the Ap store? I'm afraid experiences like this only reconfirm that I was right to move to Linux as my main computing platform.
