I downloaded OS X Mavericks to my laptop and it won't install
I downloaded the free upgrade from the App Store and when I double-click on install, nothing happens.
Yes it says it is downloaded
No, I cannot download it again
and I have OS 10.8.5
I click on the Purchase Page and it shows Mountain Lion and it asks to download it but I already did this before
Does this happen to anybody else?

You can try these steps, it might help you.
clean up the install with error by using cleaner tool, http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html.
Disable the firewall, antivirus of the system & network(standalone network would be preferred)
Now reinstall the Photoshop CS6, you can use the link from here http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cs6-direct-download-links.html.
OR
If there is anyspecific error code or message, do let us know, it can be investigated further.

Hi, I downloaded, activated, registered both on my laptop and desktop Adobe CC InDesign and Illustrator. I am paying a monthly fee. The problem is, when I start my program, it keeps asking me to register my program and it says my free trial is over.
Can you check into this for me.If you want Adobe to check it you'll need to contact them (use CHAT) but you could try checking whether you just need to SIGN IN to your apps.

I am trying to Download the free Maverick 10.9.1 and it's sitting there showing "downloading" but nothing indicates for the last 15 minutes that it is really doing it? Anyone out there has ideas to share?
When I downloaded it, it appeared as if nothing was happening but it actually was being downloaded! It took quite some time to download. I suspect the internet speed affects how quickly it moves.

I downloaded Printopia Demo to my Mac laptop, but when trying to install it, a window comes up showing the printer is recognized, but there is no button to go any further. What do I have to do?
Close the window and print .... Read this for the details. Once you install it - you should be able to print from the print option in any app.
I have downloaded the demo twice. I forget exactly how to do it, but it is very simple. If you installed Printopia, just try to print something - try a web page or a photo. Tap the Arrow icon in the upper right corner in most apps to get to the print option. -
I can't download itunes on my windows 7 laptop (it used to be installed but seems to have disappeared).
An error message appears near the end of the (ultimately failed) install attempt saying something like 'apple mobile device does not have the right privileges'until the last programme finishes downloading then it won't open the file because it can't be found.
Which particular .msi file does the message go on to say cannot be found? (Several different .msi files can be mentioned in this context: itunes.msi, bonjour.msi, AppleSoftwareUpdate.msi, etc.) -

I downloaded OS X Mavericks over the weekend and it has made my Macbook very slow. Browsing has become slow. Mail hardly moves. It takes ages to show contents of inbox, yes including previously downloaded emails too. Thus the overall experience is very disappointing. IS THERE A WAY TO GO BACK TO THE PREVIOUS OS X that I had? OS X Mavericks should be renamed as OS X HAVOCKWRECKS.

2012 Macbk air, with OSX 10.8.5. See my question above. Mavericks won't install on my Air's HD, says that both the HD - AND - the external HD (which has a different name from the laptop HD) are used for time machine backups. I've deleted my time machine plists, restarted, repaired permissions, turned time machine off, repeatedly selected the external drive in time machine preferences. HELP. (Install went perfectly on my desktop Mac, which also has an external HD for time machine).
I need to add that the only place I have the "Backups.backupdb" folder is on my backup external disk, and it's not on my HD :-( . If it were, I'd delete it!

I download two apps on the apps store. And they won't download because my phone won't ask me my Apple ID. Why do I do?
Is this a new Apple iD? If it is, and you have already set it up, then you have two options:
1. Temporarily put a Credit Card or Gift Card on the account to download the free app. If you put a credit card, then once you have downloaded the app, you should be able to go into your Account preferences and change the payment option to = None.
2. You can download the fee App, and then set up a new Apple ID.
