I downloaded photoshop, but it wont open when i click it

That same thing happened to me. I have Windows 8, and I downloaded the Adobe Creative Cloud Download Center, then downloaded Photoshop through it. But then it didn't show up in the Start window, or anywhere else. Then I found it in the Program Files, but when I clicked on it it didn't do anything. But when I downloaded Illustrator the same way, it showed up in the Start menu and it worked.

Are you trying to open it from the Application Manager? Does Photoshop say Installed next to it?

Try rebooting the iPad by pressing and holding the on/off and home buttons simultaneously until the screen goes blank and you see the apple logo. It should take about 10-15 seconds to reboot. This should clear out whatever is hanging the app.

Did you already try to reset your phone by holding the sleep and home button until the Apple logo comes back again? You will not lose data by resetting the phone.

Do a backup.
Quit the application.
In Finder hold down the option/alt key while selecting the Go menu item. Select Library. Then go to Preferences/com.apple.Safari.plist. Move the .plist to your desktop.
Restart the computer, open the application and test. If it works okay, delete the plist from the desktop.
If the application is the same, return the .plist to where you got it from, overwriting the newer ones.
If you want to make your user library permanently visible, run the below command in Applications/Utilities/Terminal.
chflags nohidden ~/Library/
You will need to do that after any updates.
If that doesn't work:
Do a backup, using either Time Machine or a cloning program, to ensure files/data can be recovered. Two backups are better than one.
Try setting up another admin user account to see if the same problem continues. If Back-to-My Mac is selected in System Preferences, the Guest account will not work. The intent is to see if it is specific to one account or a system wide problem. This account can be deleted later.
Isolating an issue by using another user account
If the problem is still there, try booting into the Safe Mode using your normal account. Disconnect all peripherals except those needed for the test. Shut down the computer and then power it back up after waiting 10 seconds. Immediately after hearing the startup chime, hold down the shift key and continue to hold it until the gray Apple icon and a progress bar appear. The boot up is significantly slower than normal. This will reset some caches, forces a directory check, and disables all startup and login items, among other things. When you reboot normally, the initial reboot may be slower than normal. If the system operates normally, there may be 3rd party applications which are causing a problem. Try deleting/disabling the third party applications after a restart by using the application un-installer. For each disable/delete, you will need to restart if you don't do them all at once.

All of a sudden PDFs wont open when double clicked...

Hey guys, I recently installed cs6, and all was working fine. I havent made any changes recently....
But today I tried double clicking a pdf i downloaded and it looked like it when to open but it didnt. I restarted my machine thinking it needed a restart. Still didnt work. Tried other pdfs still nothing.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

The KB link you shared is for a different issue altogether in which a licensed software reverts to trial mode on launch.
That is not your case.
If you want to set Acrobat or Reader to be the default while opening pdf's please follow the steps below :
Please launch Acrobat.
Click on the 'Edit' button in the toolbar, and then select 'Preferences'
A new window would come up. On the left column, higlight the 'General' Tab and on the right hand side at the bottom there's a button called 'Select Default PDF Handler'
Click the button and select 'Acrobat' as the default for PDF's.Click on 'Ok' now to save the changes.
Alternatively, you can simply right click on any pdf file and then select 'Open With..' > 'Choose Default Program' and select 'Acrobat' from the list of programs.
Make sure the option at the bottom is checked that says ' Always use the selected program to open this kind of file'.
Click on 'Ok' now to save the changes.

That's an easy one to fix. If Mail won't let you quit, use Force Quit instead. Then, perform the sync and download the software that's needed on your device.
This is not an uncommon problem, and Force Quit is a safe option in this case.

I upgraded to the new firefox saved the application and when I click on the Icon to open the browser it doesn't open. I have tried to uninstalled and re-installed it as well and it still won't open.

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox without informing you about that, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process.

Does this happen immediately after you log in? If so, one of your login items is probably causing it.

Okay so, I lost my first iPod nano, & 4 x-mas, my mother brought me the second generation iPod nano. Clearly, it has been 6 months since x-mas & all that i have been able to do with it is charge it & play games because i cant get any music on there. I downloaded the new version of iTunes but when i go to open, the icon changes into another icon & changes right back to the original icon. Does anyone know how i can stop this from happening so that i can enjoy my music?
