I downloaded the installation files to my Program Files directory

Question: I downloaded the exe files of my newly purchased Adobe Photoshop Elments 12 software onto my PC (Windows 7) into the program directory, but cannot get the software to initialize. I also ran the largest initialzation file, one of many in the new AE 12 directory . I had uninstalled two older trial versions before buying this one.

The script works well but I just need to call (SRV) windows System variable
that contains the name of the local server.
All client machines (winxp) already have a system variable name (SRV) with

If you want to use run with a variable then this is how:
wshshell.run
"cmd /c \\%SRV%\Share\AgInstall.exe"
By running a command under CMD you can get the env variable converted. By itself
it won't convert.
The Chr(34) are not needed here.
Converting in VBScript As I posted is better usually:

HT4718 How do I just download the Lion and then create a bootdrive to recover from? Where can I download the installer file?

I'm in Indonesia and my connection is unreliable, I don't want to get halfway through an internet recovery and it go wrong leaving with half an OS install.
Also - when I install, either by bootdrive or recovery, will it leave my partitioned hard drive data without formatting it?

Before running the installer, but after the download completes, a file called InstallESD.DMG will be on your computer. This file contains a virtual installer disk you can keep for future use on a USB Flash drive or placed in another part of the hard drive that won't automatically erase. Path file control indicating the installation file directory

Hello,
I'm making a package on labview 6.1.
Once this package is installed on a pc the software will use some txt files.
On my code I specified the directory of these txt file but if the user want to change the install directory given by default, the txt file will be no more accessible.
Is there a possibilty to put a control in the labview code that allow to take the real install directory of the exe and then indicate the name of the txt file.

I just wanted to expand on your post to clarify the intermediate steps that must be taken for this to work correctly.
The output from the "Current VI's Path" vi needs to be wired to a
"Strip Path" vi to remove the current vi's name from the path.
The "stripped path" terminal is then wired to the "base path" terminal
of a "Build Path" vi.

I tried to update lightrooom 5 to version 5.5. but I cannot install the update as I always get the error that adobe_lightroom_x64.msi cannot be found. I have downloaded the installation file with other browsers buit it didn't help. I can't even deinstall

Denge75 it sounds like there is an improper entry within your registry for Photoshop Lightroom. I would recommend uninstalling Lightroom 5.3. Once removed then please also use the Microsoft Fixit utility at Fix problems that programs cannot be installed or uninstalled to remove any renaming entries for Photoshop Lightroom.
You should then be able to download and install Lightroom 5.5 directly from Adobe - Lightroom : For Windows.

2) find a better connection yourself and download to a usb stick
3) use your current connection and a download manager to download the installation files.

Need the installer files for Elements 2.0

Hey,
Could anyone help me out and point me in the direction where I can download the installer files for Elements 2.0?
I work at a Computer shop and have a client that wants us to reinstall her Elements 2.0 and I cannot find the installer anywhere on this site.
I also contacted adobe support and they said they cannot help me and I need to go to the forums to find the installer.
Any help would be appreciated.

Unfortunately, adobe doesn't have installers available publicly for software that old.
Even if you do find an installer somewhere on the internet for pse 2, it's most likely an 30 day trial version which can not be converted to a licensed version.
You might try finding a copy on Amazon.

Why won't the installation file load up?

I have downloaded the installation file and when I open it the installation window doesn't open but it is listed in the Task Manager but it isn't running. I have done everything in the trouble shooting guides and even the tutorial video and I am still having the same exact problem every time. I have done this over and over again.What is wrong and how do I fix this. This is really important to me as I need Flash Player to be able to view video for school.

1. Restart your computer - that will make sure you do not have any Adobe installation process running.
2. Click on the following Adobe link. Go to the bottom where it says "Still having problems". Then click on the link to install Flash Player for Firefox.
