1. Charge with AC adaptor for at least 30 minutes
2. Reset the phone (no data loss): press both the homeand power buttons for at least 10 seconds, releasing when the Apple logo appears.

If the device remains unresponsive or does not turn on (or power on), reset your device.
If there is no video or if the screen remains black, verify that the device has enough charge to turn on:

I download the new update and now it will not reconize my ipad
I update to the new i-tunes so I could update my ipad. Now the i-tunes store does not open and I can not update my software on my Ipad. Any suggestions??
I have experienced the same problem, I updated the software then updated my iPhone, after a few problems it eventually updated, when I tried to connect my iPad it would not recognise it, it have followed all the online help ie reboot, start n stop the software, reinstalled it but still no joy!! It only seems to recognise devices that have been updated. I'm puzzled!!

I can't download the latest update and my phone loses WIFI all the time. when I try to connect and put in my password, it just keep searching and searching.

Ever since I downloaded the new iOS 7 my screen will not turn up and down and it rotates on its own side to side.it will not face the way I want it to go. How do I fix it?
I've been working on this all day!!! I've tried everything I know of and can't get it to load either. Sounds like lots of people are having problems. Here is what I have so far...I have uninstalled EVERYTHING on my pc from apple and reinstalled itunes to no avail. I have tried all sorts of things I've read as fixes online. NOTHING has worked. Here is something interesting that i have noticed though. my main pc (which is the one i have always managed my itunes account with for years) is a 32 bit system running windows 7. Yesterday I installed itunes for the first time on my new netbook which is a 64 bit (windows 7) system and it works just fine. i have three other laptops (all window 7) in my household that are all 64 bit operating systems and ALL have updated to 10.5 and THEY ALL work fine. this is FOUR 64 bit systems ALL updated w/10.5 that work and ONE that is a 32 bit that will not. Can't get any help from apple. their suppot *****! I want to get someone on the **** phone or a live chat but cant. *** APPLE????? please let mw know if you find SOMETHING i can try next. I'm out of ideas and patience!

Try a Hard Reset,
press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

I dropped my iPhone 4s and the back cracked and it now will not turn on. I was wondering if anyone could give me an estimated price to fix it. And I do have insurance on it with best buy. I'm on Verizon's phone plan so I don't know if it would be cheaper to have it fixed with Best Buy or Verizon. I cracked my iPod a little bit ago and got a refurbished one for free with the insurance on it but I don't now if it would be different because it is a phone. I don't know really anything about this stuff so any information that could possibly help me is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
That's only for the iPhone 5. On the 4 and 4S, they can repair the back glass in store for $30. They will not replace the display on a 4 or 4S. They must replace the entire phone. Replacing the display on them requires disassembling the entire phone, which they will not do in store.

Says it all in the question really, but just to clarify: Once upon a time I took out a contract and got my very own iphone4s more or less straightaway I could tell the battery charge was faulty, I was told by a member of the genius bar that this was normal, it wasnt normal I could literally watch it count down and it just got worse. It got to the point where I couldnt use the phone anymore so after taking it to various places I had the battery replaced (all in all this cost around £100) and it worked 'normally' for about half a day until the phone suddenly reached 1% and has stayed at this % ever since- not ideal but it would stay on all day and ive managed to use the phone fine. I would keep it charged overnight as i usually would but even after 8 hours of charging it still said 1%, I downloaded battery apps they all told me the battery was empty even when it was still on 1%. Lastnight I decided to update to i.0.s 6.0.2 I kept it on charge to do it but when it went to restart it would not turn back on. Im now stuck with a phone that actually has a new battery but the phone somehow doesn't recognise that it has a battery, I can't restore on itunes as it will not charge at all not even to get the apple symbol. Ive spent alot of money trying to resolve this already and have been told that the battery is not covered with the warranty so I wondered if anyone had any ideas?
Unless Apple replaced your battery, and it appears they didn't, you're pretty much on your own now. Have you tried going back to whoever replaced your battery? That's gonna be your only choice now, because if a third-party replaced your battery, Apple won't touch your phone now.

HT4623 Updated and now phone will not activate
After updating my iphone 3gs I am unable to activate it the wifi connect but the phone has no service I live in Tunisia and my carrier is orange before I lived in America and had AT&T so I am not familiar with this countries coverage I have never had a problem with updates before andyone got any suggestions?
Your device has previously been hacked or jailbroken to unlock it for use on other carriers.
