I downloaded the trail for acrobat pro xi but it' not opening or running I can't see where it is
I've downloaded this trial twice and don't know where it is if I click on icon on desktop is doesn't do nothing.

You need to run the downloaded file to start the installation.

RobUnfortunately, even if there were a download link it wouldn't help. PSE 6 had different serial numbers for downloads and boxed versions that were mutually incompatible, and back then you couldn't just enter a serial number into the trial. That's probably why adobe doesn't have a download available for PSe 6.

I don't work for Adobe but it seems to me you might be signing in to Acrobat with the wrong Adobe ID.
Check the Adobe ID you use in Acrobat.
Check this Adobe ID on Adobe's to make sure that it has an active subscription. -

When i open itunes it gives me the option to download the new version 10.3. my computer will not support 10.3. i can't by pass the download to continue with my current version of itunes. i've trashed and reinstalled 8.2.1 twice. any solutions?
I am in the same boat. I tried repeatedly to contact iTunes support, but was told each time that I had contacted the wrong deaprtment and they could not help me. There must be a way to still be able to use the iTunes store without paying for a system update. If not, I hope they will reimburse me the money I have in my acount.

I meant holding the "option" (or "alt") key on your keyboard as you click the Outlook icon on the Dock, and continuing to hold it until you see the Microsoft Database Utility come up. Alternatively, you can open the utility by navigating to Applications/Microsoft Office 2011/Office and then double-clicking the Microsoft Database Utility app.
When you rebuild your database using that program, a backup copy of your original database (containing your account info, contacts, mail, calendars, etc) will be created. As a security precaution, you should also ensure you have a backup of your database (which you can find by going to Documents/Microsoft User Data/Office 2011 Identities/ and copying the contents of that folder onto an external drive). -
I was told I had to upgrade Firefox to 4.0, downloaded the dmg, launched it and now Firefox will not open at all. It tells me "The operation can't be completed because you don't have permission to access some of the items." Also, that "Firefox cannot be opened because of a problem." And it give a bunch of code. This is my main browser. What is happening here? My OS X is 10.6.7. Has this caused a problem?
If you right-click on your Photoshope.exe, select Properties, there should be a Compatibility tab. There you can select Windows XP, Windows 2000, Winows 98 or 95. One of these should allow you to open Photoshop 6, unless you mean CS6.

Serial number for suite works, while the number for acrobat pro does not
I previously purchased adobe cs 5 which came with discs for the suite as well as acrobat pro. They were all on my windows computer working fine but when I got a new laptop the serial number worked for the suite but not the acrobat pro. I am not sure what I am doing wrong.
If Acrobat came as part of the Suite then you need to install it using the Suite disc. If it came as a separate application then you need to find the serial number that came with it as well and use that. Check you Adobe account online to see if you have Acrobat as a separate product.
