I downloaded the trial version of Flash 5.5. I had an error.

So after I received the error I restarted my Windows 7 PC and started the download again. The download finished properly but when I try and launch the application I guess a message that my trial expired. What can I do? I saw in another forum that you can reset the clock to January 1, 2006. I did that but it still didn't work. Any ideas? I would really like to try this software before I buy it.

No, too late. Trials cannot be reset by fiddling with the system clock. This only works with properly licensed products. Unless you are ready to rebuild your system including a low-level format of the harddrive, I see no realistic way of getting the trial period back. If you can, try it on another computer. In case this is a glitch in the licensing system, you can try some of the stuff explained here and in other docs linked from there, but chances are slim. The respective licensing key files are almost always already locked and only inputting a serial number can unlock them.

I recently learnt of the Subscription edition for Adobe creative Suite 4 design premium being offered in Australia & I wanted to download a trial version of Flash (which is one of the programs I am most interested in) to see if it would be worth subscribing.However when I go to download the trial it seems to be a requirement that you are part of an organistion just to demo the blasted program (when trialing Photoshop it asked for no such thing) Is there a Demo version of Flash available for those us who aren't studying & who aren't part of a big organistion because it seems pretty lame to make a trial verison so inaccessible. I'm actually looking into starting a small Cartoon business that could use the program & I'll be darned if I'm gonna buy it before trying it but my business idea could not be implemented untill some time in the future.
Any assistance you can offer would be greatly appreciated

Can't download the trial version of Illustrator

I'm running Mac OS X version 10.6.8, but when I try to download the trial version of Illustrator, I get the message that I'm running an OS no longer supported by Illustrator. I've tried updating my version Flash Player. Any suggestions?

I downloaded the latest version of flash player, not working?

I just got my computer back from being fixed and I'm redownloading everything I need.
I have a Mac OS X Version 10.7.5 and i downloaded the latest version of flash player for it. It appears to be installed because there's a window opens up saying "Thank you, enjoy flash player." or something like that after I have downloaded the flash player.
I've tried several times and I STILL can't watch videos or do things that require flash player.
I went to my system preferences, clicked on Flash Player and went to the advanced bar, and it says "Plug-in version 11.9.900.117 is installed."

And I click the "Check Now" button to see if flash player has been installed onto my computer, it says:
"Sorry, Flash Player is either not installed or not enabled.
Please go to step 2."
And so I did and downloaded it AGAIN. I only saw the same thing after i reloaded the page and tried again.
I do not have an anti-virus program, so it can't be that.
Is the flash player enabled?
How do I check if it's enabled/enable it?

How i solved:
1 Mount the Flash Player installer .dmg file
2 Copy the "Install Adobe Flash Player" file to desktop or any other directory as preferred
3 Open terminal and cd to desktop or the other directory
4 Run the following command on terminal: sudo ./Install\ Adobe\ Flash\ Player.app/Contents/MacOS/Install\ Adobe\ Flash\ Player
5 Insert the password when asked

Can I download the trial version of photoshop and use it as the full version with my serial number?

I have photoshop 6.0 on my current computer, I got in in college 4 years ago and the disc subsequently came to a tragic end after a collision with my dogs teeth T_T I still have the serial number though. My problem is I've just bought a new computer and I was told that to transfer photoshop to my new computer I had to deactivate it on my old computer and then download the trial version using the original serial number. Will this work?

Is this Photoshop Elements 6 or Photoshop 6? I am unable to download the trial version of Adobe After Effects.

I am trying to download the trial version of After Effects for testing. I downloaded Edge animate from the cloud several months ago with no probelem. Safari says it can not open the address. Is this a firewall issue? I am trying to convince my boss to allow me to subscribe to the creative cloud but so far this is not helping running into to techical difficulties this early in the process. Thanks for any response.
UPDATE: I uninstalled and then reinstalled the Creative Cloud download app. It seems to have downloaded and installed fine but when I go to download a trial app nothing happens, nor do I know what to do. The creative cload window opens in my mac and that's all. Any suggestions.
I have also noticed the CC icon on the top title bar of my mac remains dim, don't know if that is an issue. The only options it gives me is Help, Open as window and Close Creative Cloud. What gives?

That will take you to 10.6.3.
If required you can then use the combo updater to get to the latest version, 10.6.8 (http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1399)
