I downloaded v25 now I can't open my web e-mail, do I need to change some settings?

This is the login page for my e-mail. When I open it in explorer there is a "sign in" button which doesn't show up in FireFox anymore. Even when I just hit enter, it will not go to my e-mail.

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

HT1926 Latest iTunes software wont completely download and now I can't open iTunes at all?

Hi! I really hope someone can help me with this-
iTunes just had a popup that there was new software to install, so I chose the update to iTunes. The download was almost finished, but then it stopped and said there was a problem with the download (obviously) and to try to install it from within the program. Fine by me. Only, I can't open iTunes now?? It tells me that, "The item refered to by this shortcut cannot be accessed. You may not have the appropriate permissions."
I'm not even going to try and pretend that I know what that means, lol. I searched my entire computer for iTunes and every shortcut/folder/etc with 'iTunes' in it gives me an error message of some sorts. D:
I even tried to re-download iTunes from this site, but it gets halfway and then gives me error message 2324.
What do I do from here? I really don't want to uninstall iTunes (if it even still exists on my computer) because I'm afraid I'll all the modified song information that I just spent literately hours updating last week. >_<

Similar problem here. iTunes11 notified me it was available. However, auto-update failed. So, I downloaded for manual update. That failed with "permission" message. I am administrator on this machine (WIN7). I tried uninstalling old version, but it failed with same permission issue. I now can't start iTunes... throws permission message. So, I'm completely dead in the water. Does this stuff get tested before it's shipped?

So i went back to itunes online and re-downloaded it. if no joy with beau's suggestion, try the following procedure.
first, head into your Add/Remove programs and uninstall your QuickTime. if it goes, good. if it doesn't, we'll just attend to it when we attend to itunes.
next, download and install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. use it to clear any existing itunes and/or QuickTime installation configuration information from the PC.

next, use the the following document as a guide for manual removal of leftover itunes and quicktime program files:

I got of some cookies and now firefox can't open my web-mail from Medscape. I get "the page isn't redirecting properly" ..

This problem started right after I deleted lots of cookies, trying to avoid the ad people from getting too much information. My email is from pol.net (from Medscape). I even restored the Firefox applications (I have a macBook Pro laptop) from my external hard drive using Time Machine from a backup I did 2 days before I deleted cookies -- NO change, even though checking to see what cookies are on the system appear to show that all the deleted cookies were restored !! My Medscape people CAN access my mail from Firefox---I can't from my bookmarks or URL window using Firefox. The rest of my bookmarks seem to be unaffected. I CAN access my mail from Safari. You are not on Mountain Lion anymore, right? You are on Mavericks and have downloaded Pages 5 and then created docuemnts in it which can't be opened in Pages 09.
No, you don't have to buy a newer Pages but you have to be particular about which version you use.

You may goto control panel and then go to program and features.
Select the Acrobat pro and chose the option change from the top. Fallow the onscreen instruction a windows will pop up where you need to choose repair.
